Customer service is very poor, extremely long waits are standard when calling and the phone lines have restrictive hours - can't call on a Sunday.

As others mentioned, I found them through a comparison site paid a deposit, then they increased the price when I called to confirm the policy with them.

Had a bit of a nightmare getting my insurance set up (not because of rcib) but Jayden was very helpful throughout and luckily I will be insured to pick up my car tomorrow. Wait times were long today but I have called previously regarding a quote and got straight through every company has their busy times. I was promised a call back (twice) and both times Jayden rang back as promised within a few minutes. Thanks Jayden and RCIB

this company collects your card details and will not provide insurance until you speak with them. the problem is they don't call you back and it takes forever to get through to them. i gave up after 30 mins of waiting. feels like a big scam. cowboy company

Hold times got a little tedious but not much can be done there, great service and taken care of as quick as possible.

Gave me a realy competitive quote...then i get a message a day later asking me to ring them and that i am not insured.....wasted 45minutes on the phone (during my weekend) and was told a different quote because the policy start date was moved.

Hidden charges are a rip off, customer services is disgusting and very robotic. When my policy finishes I will not use again, nor would I ever recommend them, I feel like I have been ripped off :(

I took many calls (hours and hours), passed from pillar to post, broken promises of call backs, a sudden hike in renewal cost over just a few hours, and finally the renewal has been processed for the wrong day. My previous policy with RCIB expired on 5th Dec, but they started the new policy on 10 Nov. now I am holding on the phone yet again....

Worst insurance seller, they deceive by offering less quote and then call you and they need to validate it and raise to higher value. They are kind of robbers stealing from the customers

I can't even rate this company. A bunch of rip offs with very arrogant and unhelpful staff. i have just been ripped off. I guess I should have read the reviews before choosing them. AVOID THEM PLEASE. AVOID THEM

I decided to use these guys because they were the cheapest for me, and had a phone call and they tried to rip me off and double my insurance, even though I had already paid my deposit, I haggled and got my price to a reasonable 'ish' price, they haven't helped my out with any documentation, and if your like me and use your phone for everything can't get the documents done properly on a phone, I work long hours and every time I try to call them I am on hold for over 30 mins before I give up, poor service poor price, DONT NOT USE THESE GUYS!!!

This company came the cheapest on the comparison sites but after spending over 1 hour on the with Shakira I can understand why!. I asked at least 5 times if I have cover to drive another vehicle and was told 'YES' I would be covered. Then I needed to give 2 phone numbers just in case they needed to call me in a emergency made no sense at all. 2nd operator jumped on the call and said I must pay buy bank transfer, again no chance, I finally paid online only to find out that I would not be covered to drive 'other' vehicles. WHAT a JOKE!!!. Absolutely mis-sold the cover to me. Where are the FSA?. I have cancelled the policy and await refund.!

Personally I will avoid like the Plague.........

Worst insurance company I've ever dealt with avoid at all cost they taken deposit off me sent purchase confirmation and then discovered after 3 days was not covered i then called and said i would go with another company insted when tryed to call them asking why money was not put back in my bank after 2 weeks was on phone for over an hour an a half spoke to 3 supposedly different people who all said you have been put through to the wrong department put me straight back all sounded like the same guy kept putting me on hold an through there 30 minute waiting period. Should be taken off comparison sites. Bit of a scam you think you've signed up for the agreed price and submit you're details. Then when you've paid you get a message saying they will be in contact to confirm your insurance and until they do you're not covered. Then when they contact you. They try to get you insurance which always works out more expensive and with more excess. Avoid. Asking I am going to complain to compare the market.

Avoid these scum bags like the plague there staff are rude and they just ask you so many random questions, it took me 45 mins on the phone to get a quote!!!!! go with a more well known reputable company than these deranged lot.

I got a quote for 1300 pounds on a car insurance and when it was time to pay for it then the price bumped up to over 2000 pounds.
The main reason for this was that someone reversed into my car while it was parked outside my house while I was inside my house and I had forgotten to put that down in my claim. So because someone else can't drive his car I have to pay for that in the end. This is definitely fraud and thanks to useless politicians and lobbying these companies keep getting away by financially rapping the comman working man for his hard earned money. We have no choice in this matter as we can't drive our cars without taking out car insurance with these corrupt corporations that keep screwing us over.
I could go on about the injustice but I'll stop here as my rant will serve no purpose here.

Very disappointed in service provided. Whilst the broker I spoke to was helpful I am still waiting for insurance certificate and other documents to arrive. No idea whether or not I'm insured despite the money being taken from my account. I now resign myself to having to wait 20mins to speak to customer care to resolve despite already informing them of a delay. Another company who are good to deal with until there's an issue.

Refused to accept my proof of NCD, so cancelled (before the policy started). A month on, still waiting for refund and all emails to customer service are now being ignored.

Since this post, I have been contacted by RCIB who have admitted there have been some issues and I should receive a full refund within the hour. How about, buyer beware, things do sometime go wrong. Nice to receive an apology.

AVOID , worst company , they quote you cheaper price but later they drag more money out of you. Un professional staff. Nightmare to deal these people.

Never trust them online cheap price when u call them it will be totally different they will never listen u I been treated worst I would say. Please think and take your time before u do insurance with them.

When you call them it tends to take a loooong time on hold before you are put through but once you are connected the staff are friendly, helpful and efficient.

TOTAL CHEATS!! Price comparison websites like GoCompare.com and MoneySuperMarket.com should blacklist them if they care for their own business.
This company takes the deposit for the insurance then claim that they need to verify your details otherwise they would cancel your insurance. However, we have been on the phone many times waiting for hours but no one answers. Also we sent them a cancellation by email and they did not respond correctly. Instead they still keep sending me the request for verifying my details. One of the most dodgy companies that I dealt.
I wish I had seen their reviews here before. I guess the ones putting 5 star reviews are those who are paid by the company

Amanda showed gd professional manner n a warm personality.. Felt at ease, n had a chuckle throughout conversation..

Renewed my insurance for a classic motorcycle with Amanda who listened, answered my questions, took an interest in my bike, acted in a courteous and professional manner and then came up with a quote which not only beat all competitive quotes but also her company's own on-line quote.

The person on the phone was very polite and helpful - follow d the script which took ages and eventually had to call back later as something came up. A good experience if somewhat elongated

The process was really good and everything was explained clearly...the only negative was the waiting time to get through and I did get cut off once by reception

The first person I spoke to was very arrogant and unhelpful. The time to answer the phone is dreadful and I spent 5 hours including waiting and conversation to get a conclusion. Stephen was very friendly and appreciate him dealing with the call. Unfortunately he is working for a terrible company.

My experience was a very good one. A very efficient and reassuring service. I spoke to a chap called Michael who took my details and worked on my behalf to get a good deal for me. He managed this quickly and professionally. Thank you, I plan to stay with Right Choice when it is time for renewal.

This company are fraudsters rob you of money, try and make you pay a cancellation fee when they have cancelled it. The company tells lies to the company that are going to insure you even though you have filled in the details correctly. I am now going to inform the police and the financial ombudsman for a friend of mine who has been robbed. Let's see how they like being investigated.

Try and avoid, here's a few reasons why :

The price you're quoted isn't the price they offer. It all feels like a scam. Whenever you try to contact them you're put on hold for what seems like days.
There's a lot of faffing about with this company, yes they're cheap but do you really want to be on hold for half an hour? It feels like a tin pot operation and luckily I didn't have to claim whilst with them, my patience was stretched enough, having said all that they do sort things out... Eventually... It just doesn't have a professional feel to any of it, so yes, try and avoid and go with a proper company.

took out insurance 1 week ago. Get an email today saying we are cancelling your insurance in 7 days. No reason why, No explanation nothing. Clean licence, 5 years no claims bonus.
I've called 3 times today to discuss as I have no idea about refund?
