I bought my policy 7 days in advance And on Exactly 10th day of policy this ppl came with excuses of paying extra money as my driving license wasn t 5yrs old when they had documents with them 3days before policy starts. I found them cheat and really bad customer service. No helpful people. Found same thing from friends and family they increase insurance once the policy has started. Will give 0 rating and stay away from this policy providers.

They are totally unscrupulous. I ve never dealt with a company
as bad as this. my they deliberately canceled stating residency issue I told them I have proof to prove residency but staff is very rude and arrogant
There s no complaints options and the staff are rude.
They just hide behind their underwriters. This company will come out as cheapest
but after they ve screwed you over and tried to charge extras they won t be anything like competitive.
They also are very invasive about your life and how you use your car.
Do yourself a favor and get a policy from a transparent provider that
you can have a conversation with and be treated with respect and a sense of reasonableness.
They cancelled my policy on their own and they charged me 550 pounds this is too much

Omg stay away from this company!! First of all spent most of the day trying to get through after I tried buying car insurance online which kept coming up error so I had to call them! I finally get through after being on the line for over a hour! Just to get through to someone who said they can t do anything as all agents were busy and she would get a agent to call me back! So I waited and heard nothing so I spent almost another hour the next day when I finally get through they were asking me about any debts I have I said what is that got to do with you I m not applying for credit I pay my insurance annually and he said all insurance people ask this I said well I ve been with 2 different insurance company s and they never asked me anything about any debts I may have!!! ( I have no outstanding debts) and kept saying I had discrepancies I did what discrepancies? And he couldn t answer! So I gave them my online reference quote and I went through all my details again and put on hold after 5 mins he came back and said I have been refused insurance but they have a alternative but it would cost me more! So I quickly ended the call and came to make a review and can t believe what I m reading so glad I didn t go with them Absolute con artists! I ve never been refused insurance before and they were just after more money!! Please please please stay well clear could you imagine having to make a claim you would be there forever just getting through!!

Never again would I use this company caused me nothing but stress there quick enough to take the money off you but not quick enough to refund you back after I done a quote online I then rang them up to confirm it all and they said it would be an extra 900 on top after taking the money because mine was a high risk area! Caused me nothing but stress with my bank accounts!

Terrible customer service. After setting up a new policy RCIB bombarded me with emails and text messages chasing up paperwork and documents. This was eventually all sorted after weeks of headaches with them. During a phone call to confirm the policy I was asked if I drank alcohol or smoked, honestly this has nothing to do with my ability to drive and I don t believe personal information like this was necessary for a car insurance policy. Furthermore when confirming my address and where my car would be parked they didn t believe I had a locked garage despite the fact I was standing IN IT. Who are they to tell me I DO NOT have a garage. When my renewal was up I decided to find a different company to insure with, when I rang them to let them know they could not have cared any less. They made no attempt to encourage me to stay. In all the years I have had a policy I have never known a company to let a customer leave so easily. When chasing up my NCD after a new policy was set up with a different company, I was on hold for 10 minutes and then they actually hung up on me.
My new insurance company could not be better, absolutely fabulous and friendly service from the off. NEVER again will I use RCIB under any circumstances. Absolute shambles of a company who don t care one bit about their customers.

Someone did initially answer the phone then told me they're putting me through to an advisor, still waiting and believe they've even sent a message as I'm writing asking me to call. Bloody joke

Do not deal with this insurance broker company! I received a quote on-line and they took payment on line, They rang me to confirm the details which I thought was standard procedure. This then revealed that the quote they gave was made up and the actual price was higher by 50%. I said the price was not good enough or what was quoted and he then told me I have to wait 3-5 days to receive my money back. Why did this company taking payment? I later found out that the company they used to quote the price does not insure motorcycles.
I now have a new motorcycle that is uninsured due to them taking payment of a non existing quote under false pretences.

I had a quote online from various price comparison, and thier price was the same so I decided to buy as it was the cheapest. However, after making my purchases, I though everything was fine.... Drove around . Then Monday morning received a text message from RCIB asking to call them so that I could be insured. Failing to do that mean I am insured. So I call them straight back. First call on the number they provided, I waited for 30 minutes. So I research online for alternative number. My second I waited for 15 minutes, then a very rude lady picked. All she said was "Can I take your postcode .... And what is your full names please ... After I have the information, she said "one second". But I didn't know she was actually transferring. So waited an additional 40 minutes.

I just need to say,, all that time I never FELT I WAS TREATED LIKE A CUSTOMER THAT THEY NEW.
They might be cheaper but no.... Rather pay more and have a better service

Beyond a shadow of a doubt the WORST customer service I have ever had the misfortune of dealing with every member of staff is a complete joke and liability. Have a habit of cutting you off too.

Beware of this company. They operate what is close to a scam. I tried to get home insurance. It goes like this:

1. They offer the cheapest quote (on MoneySuperMarket).
2. You buy insurance (and pay), but in the small print you are not covered until you contact Sales.
3. But, it is impossible to get through to sales. I pressed Option 7 for Home Insurance but get a very long message about car insurance and then when the phone is answered they say I am in the wrong queue and I get the message all over again. This can happen several times. Sometimes they just hang up and you are back to square one.


I went through MoneySupermarket and I am surprised they deal with such a low grade outfit. AVOID!!

Absolute mess, I have sent all my documents they requested which was driving license,DVLA check code,copy of my log book (all 4 pages) and proof of my no claims, it took a while to receive my log book as it was a new car to me and they requested all 4 pages,it took 3 weeks to receive my log book in that time I got threatened with a cancellation of my insurance, once that was rectified I now have the hassle of them saying my no claims isn't valid as the policy with another insurer is still live as I have two cars, I have been insured with the other company 2 years which means I have a year's no claims bonus, I have sent my proof of no claims three times and each time it's been sent back as not acceptable, absolute joke and then to top it of I got cut off my phone call after beung on hold for God knows how long, very angry customer who is definitely going to cancel

Called twice to take up an insurance quote. Waited on hold over 20 minutes and still didn't get an answer. The third time I called, the switchboard operator said there was a 40 minute wait to speak to any one in sales. Needless to say I went elsewhere.

First I got the quotation from right Choice Insurance and they will give you very cheap insurance quote but once you make payment and confirm everything with them then they will have useless terms and conditions or they increase the difference amount also they give you another different quotation to pay them extra amount top of that but if you call customers service then all of them very rude rude and rude useless customer service they have so many fake reviews don t trust them and don t regret after it so I definitely wouldn t recommend them very careful about this company

If I could have the option to leave 0 stars I would I have only just gone to this company yet I m being harassed for paperwork that they have already got! I got told that they would ring my previous insurer to claim my no claims but now they are saying that I need doctumetation for this! Don t know why they didn t tell me this in the 1st place as I could have asked for that! Because my car was not insured for 2 weeks maybe a little bit longer but was sat on my drive they put my insurance up at the beginning! Shambles of a company!! Charge you for anything they can possibly get away with. Staff are rude with no people skills. I couldn't wait until my policy ended and when it did, don't think for one moment they will give your no claims up easily. 3 emails later and 2 phone calls I still haven't received my no claims! They are quick to bombard you with renewal quotes via txt, phone calls and several emails a week though but as soon as you want something from them they are unresponsive! The renewal quote was a thousand pounds more than the previous year with absolutely no change other than an extra year no claims!! Day light robbery!!

No one was willing to call and confirm details and due to a technicality as to whether I am married or not which has lead to them asking for over double the policy price with an extortionate cancellation fee.

So my Son used gocompare to buy car insurance. He opts to take it with rcib, not unreasonably believing this is the insurance provider. They turn out to be a broker. They take a large deposit from him and then send an e-mail claiming there is a discrepancy but don't say what that is. He checks and finds all his details are correct and so rings them to ask what the discrepancy is. It takes 45mins before he speaks with someone and they are unable to clarify this discrepancy (and at this time of writing, still haven't), but direct him to a webpage where he can access his policy details. This webpage flags up as unsecured and asks for his bank details to allow him to log in. Now who, at this point, would think anything other than suspicious and unsafe? Seriously?! What's wrong with username as e-mail address and a password sent to that e-mail address for verification like everyone else?

We are awaiting a reply from gocompare for their view on the matter. A complaint has been lodged with this company. Next stop, the ombudsman (unless they apologise and refund his money).

ABOSOLUTE RIP OFF, doubled original quote due to missed off motor conviction from original application and then charged me nearly 50% of the policy cost to cancel the policy. Didn't even attach policy documents to email confirmation of my policy. Took my payment immediately and apperently it takes 30 days to make a refund. Will not be recommending these cowboys to anyone

Would have given no stars if I could. Utterly rubbish cannot describe the frustration felt especially with a particular member of their team. Had the run around trying to get my motorcycle fixed after that had classed it as a category c write off. Asked what needed to be done and what repairs caused it to be a write off, found out that there was no examination done. Had to fight them the whole way from September 2016 to May 2017 for them to finally fix my bike. However I had to collect it and take it to an independent garage who finally gave me what I asked for in the first place. HIGHLY RECOMMEND SEEKING OTHER BROKERS

Disgusting, daylight robbery, gave a cheap quote of 700, i paid but they said i still was not insured, they tried to take a further 2.500, told them to give my money back and cancel, they said there were fees i said you could not provide me with the service you promised and I will make a complaint to fsa, they gave my money back in full, btw lots of fake reviews here.

So this company has come up the cheapest price on every comparison site ... but when you pay the price is not final!

Firstly they take the money via card upfront ... then you have to wait until they call you to activate your insurance (this did not happen, I had to call them the next morning and walk to work).

Once you finally speak to someone, after an hour on hold, they then ask you all the questions again plus unrelated questions.

Once through level 3 of this crazy broker, they then say that you ve made a mistake on your form and this will adjust the premium.
