Had a quote online one price. Had a text from RCIB your insurance isn t valid till you call. They didn t asked me that it will take some time just start questioning all over again also the dude was like speaking from the well far far away. Anyway it took over 1 hour on the phone then been declined insurance which was a surprise to me 10year NCD means a lot!. After 2 days noticed missing money from my bank acc. All morning on Saturday tried to get in touch and ask questions office either closed either not picking the phone. Now its Monday same again.
Will need to go through hard way get money back.

Ive had a couple of bad experiences with this outfit and have been disappointed with the outcome. I am very surprised that have not featured on watchdog yet!!! that time may just come as I thing the financial conduct authority needs to look at there conduct on how they seem to do business. Using the comparison sites to lure in suspected victims with there cheap as chip quotes. then go through the details with a fine comb and after feeling like a victim of a crime they then say they have to increase the prices (surprise surprise) now this has not only happened to me once but twice as the first time with the help of the financial ombudsman they seem to get themself's together. My person advice to anybody even contemplating on car insurance Just walk away this company of cowboys will indeed Increase your price regardless.
Oh and I would not pay attention to all the fake reviews as I know these were added by people that possibly work for them.

AVOID!! Please I beg you, avoid this place at all costs, no deal is worth having to deal with company. They're rude, have no customer service skills, had nothing but trouble from this company from the start and only been with them two months. Awful. Bombard me with texts, calls, emails and letters. They cancelled my direct debit and then lied about it and tried charging me a fine for that pleasure!!! They blamed my bank for the cancellation and a senior member from my bank tried to ring them to put them straight and they refused to speak to them, they are absolute cowboys.

As a broker the process is a little different from a normal insurance company and you'll be on the phone a little longer, but they seem to be able find great prices.

The staff on the phone are friendly and helpful.

possibly the worst insurance broker out there. Stay well away. Over 45 minutes to get hold of someone. I asked my business use to be removed from my policy and to refund the difference. They said they cant do that... So im stuck with a car that has business insurance that i am paying for but dont use ...

They didn't try and fob me off with unreasonable prices, tried to get me the best price first time, even went that further step by helping me by explaining how I could make the payments. They put me first and that was how I felt. Highly recommended!!!

Hi, I have just updated my car insurance on the telephone and the RCIB agent was a delight to talk to. He had a great sense of humour, was ultra efficient, and completed the update on the policy with no problems. What lovely people , highly recommend this company and it's staff.

Disgusting work ethics and take forever to pick up the phone to simply tell you they can't perform the simplest of tasks, try to raise premiums at every chance they get..

This company is a scammer. They will take your money and for one mistake they will cancel your policy and will take and will ask you to pay extra as well. Never ever want to insure with them.

This are bunch of fraudsters. The rang us to confirm our details and ended up increasing the price because they claimed we have not had the car for 4 years even though the on line quote was cheaper with details of owing the car for less than 3 years. The are fraudsters.

He was clear. He called me back when he said he would every time and stayed with me for a rather complex case.

Poor customer service, rude staff and constant emails and texts with threats of having your insurance cancelled if you don't send them irrelevant information. such as Photographs of all four pages of your log book (Why would you need all four pages? the first Maybe but all four!)

I have used this company for the last couple of years and have found them to be very efficient and fast at forcing me the best Car Insurance for around.

failed call backs, at least half an hour on hold and I'm having to keep ringing back to chase them on the day my renewal is due, surely if they want the business it should be the other way round???

Spoke to a good man called Josh helped sort everything I needed with my policy. Decent pricing and good customer interaction highly recommend.

My issue with the company was that the local landline telephone number given did not work so I had to call them on the premium number. The phone call was too long, if I had known they were going to go thought the whole application for car insurance, I would not have bothered. Excellent customer service by Hamza who dealt with my car insurance. He was courteously, efficient and thorough.

i had a very bad experience with this company! I opted in for a policy which was costing around 1000 which was fair, however they suggested i send a proof of no claims bonus which i did, going forward that was declined for i do not know what reason, I then asked to re-evaluate my premium as i could not obtain any other documents stating this proof. They then tried to add another 1000 to my premium bringing it to 2000 which is ridiculous amount of money considering I had a few years of my bonus. I then asked to cancel my policy as i could not afford this type of money, during cancellation period they refunded me with 503 pound from the 1000 I previously paid!!! meaning keeping around 450 plus pound! i was totally devastated as I had the policy less than 3 weeks with them. Please please don't be conned by this company, it's literally daylight robbery! I then opted with Aviva who accepted the same proof of no claims bonus with a decent amount of premium. I suggest you do not use this company for any purpose, they do not know how to handle customers properly and it may cost you a fortune. Alternatively use a more professional insurer who has been established.

Stay away from these people! They are scammers who take your money and don't provide the insurance quoted. Made a formal complaint and they denied the whole thing.

Don't waist your time. I been trying to call them from the morning. Operator pick up the phone ask couple of my details and put me on hold for couple minutes but apparently it tooked whole one hour. I been waiting patiently and then they just end the call! I been trying to call them 3 times and it's been the same thing wait for 30 minutes 40 minutes but nobody was not talking with me. I will never will call them again no point to waste my time I rather find another insurance company who cares about them job.

I tried to buy the same insurance with the new quote and they said that I could not have it because I was manipulating data to get a better price !!! which of course is ridiculous because I added a couple of things making the price go up not down!
When I said that I would complain about the company the person refused to give me his name and he put the phone down on me!!
is this not fraud? it feels like it! plus false advertising because they do not let you pay the quote they advertise online

After 45 mins of being transferred pillar to post and through every department because of a bad telephone system I finally got transferred to Charlie. He apologised and got straight to it with my quote, he is the only reason I decided to take my policy out after he processed everything quickly and efficiently.

The staff at RCIB were absolutely brilliant at assisting with my insurance renewal. Great service was provided and I would highly recommend this company. No complaints at all!

Absolutely awful company. Avoid at all costs. They may provide cheap quotes but their customer service is horrific. By the time I managed to get through I just cancelled because if something actually happens and you need the insurance you will probably never get hold of anyone. They don't answer emails and are the worst company I have ever dealt with.

I'd ask everyone to avoid this scam broker. They pull you in by offering great prems but afterwards slap on extra prems plus a hefty cancellation fee giving you no option but to stick with them.

Don't go with them unless you want to be tricked and overcharged. quote is twice less than what you will have to pay in the end.

Something seems very dodgey about this company, I did a quote online and payed the deposit as I was happy with the amount, I then rang them so they could set up the policy and then they charged me the deposit again so I m not waiting for the refund! I got the quote from compare the market so watch out may be dodgey I don t know yet

I have been with RCIB for a year and had to sit on the phone for 22.17 seconds to be seen to. This was after ringing daily for one week and a few days. They sent me renewal notices but each time uncalled no one picked. When I got through to the adjustments section I believe it's called the man could not get me off the phone quick enough as I was in the wrong place
RCIB customer service is very poor. They seem to be under staffed the times you wait to be called back, or call and never get a response.

I hope going forward they can up their customer service it is letting them down. They do find you good insurance deals. You can just never ever get them in the phone. I even emailed them no reply.

Hope it changes for the future.

They are based in Romford Essex. They're customer service is atrocious. Their managers do not take responsibility and they are more into SELLING you their products rather than advising you.
If you have a choice, miss them.
It seriously isn't worth your time or money.
It could all end in you losing a lot of money or you having to jump through hoops trying to get money back through an ombudsman.
