Wouldn t recommend this company to my worst enemy. Take forever on the phone. Changed the price from what I was quoted online... Rang me said everything was fine. 2 minutes later tell me via email they are cancelling my policy within 7 days. Really clueless company who have no idea how to treat customers. Proper part timers. Stay away and go somewhere else save yourselves the bother. They also had the cheek to say that I was lying about my address even tho my driving licence clearly states I live there. Really poor company. Never had so much agg trying to get insured in my life as a driver. Compare the market should be ashamed to promote this terrible company...

Scammers!! Be aware, they may quote you the cheap insurance but don't buy with them. If you want anything changed on the document their admin fees are in 100's of pounds. This company must be reported to ombudsmen as they have some dodgy pricing policy.

Right choice is definitely the wrong choice, complete an insurance quote through a comparison site, phone them up to confirm the policy and have to do the entire insurance quote again. That's assuming you can get through to them, every time i have called the minimum wait time has been 20 minutes plus. There insurances prices might seem lower, but once you are on the phone they will ask you nasty question to try and catch you out and eventually find some way that your insurance is going to cost more than previously quoted. This has happen to lots of others, not just me. They also lie on their website, i was looking for bike insurance and i quote "Imported or modified bikes NO PROBLEM" but when i phoned them up, they said i could have a maximum of 2 modifications... this then increased my insurance as i had to use another broker. Stay well away, not worth the time money or hassle, even if they are a little cheaper.

-Customer service is very poor, been calling since I purchased my insurance online as it won't go straight away as insured they have to either call you (in my case they haven't called me) or you call them (so I called them myself) and I have been passed around saying they are not the right person to deal with my query, I was put on hold for a couple of time for over 10-15 mins, there was also a time where I waited 30 mins or so.

Staff very polite and friendly. Only negative review is the time waiting to get everything sorted. After buying the car insurance online had to ring them and toke me almost 40 minutes over the phone to finish the process.

Please read your proposal paperwork before accept it, and think twice...it s cheap only if you do not need to do any changes during your policy etc. Full with hidden fees. Where to start with these guys. It s just shocking, can t believe this money grabbing system still works. Asked to provide with cost breakdown, replied they do not provide details to customer before payment received. No fixed fees, apparently underwriter can change them on daily bases and so on.Just think before you buy.
Couple of years ago the customer service was great. Now its a joke. Kept getting put on hold cause i haven't done an online quote. If i could do that. I would.!!
Avoid at all costs. Person on the phone said I am attempting insurance fraud because I've tried quotes with different cars. Utter shambles. Keep you on hold for atleast 30 minutes every time you call. Not worth the hassle. Shocking to see they haven't been prosecuted by the insurance regulator

Hopefully my issue has been sorted and it's a new validation process there putting into place, i might be able to sleep tonight.
after spending 1 hour and 20 minutes on hold i called their cancellation department on another phone an it was sheer race to see which answered first.
But luckily Tendai explained their situation and went through my whole process again insuring all the details was correct.

Calls take 45 minutes to 1 hour to answer when calling through. I had incorrect information emailed to me and when I asked for the right paperwork through my email was ignored.
I received an email asking me details as to why I wanted to cancel after they would not take my cancellation over the phone and requested I email in. I asked for clarity in a response email; on the sum I was to be charged to be ignored again (despite outlining the shocking levels of customer service as one reason for my cancellation). It has since been 16 days since I was texted to say my insurance was void yet I've still had no email to confirm this nor has the refund sum been received.
I can not imagine the headache of any poor soul whose had to claim through RCIB.

Customer service is appalling, with rude staff. Kept putting me on hold for long periods of time. Asked to speak to a manager and the advisor put me on hold and just left me there. Had to call back through to actually speak to someone and complain.
Cancelled my policy, now have to wait for money to go back into the bank. Said they wouldn't need process payment until agreed verbally. Payment still deducted from my bank so have to wait a week for it to return to my account. Disgusting service.

Service advisers don't do their job properly, updated my direct debit details with them two months in a row and they did not input the details on their system resulting me incurring additional late payment charges, charges for not having direct set up.
Spoke with one of their managers, asked her if she has listened to the audio recordings of my previous phone calls as I had 150% informed of my new direct debit details and her response was " I don't need to" . Terrible attitude, could not even answer a simple yes or no question. Not willing to help, happy to just charge me extra money.

NEVER INSURE WITH THIS BROKER, IT APPEARS ALL THEY ARE INTERESTED IN IS YOUR MONEY. If you send them an email they will not reply to you.
Renewed my insurance, as usual they send me a bunch of documents by email only asking for the log book of the car (copy of the 4 pages) and the DVLA code.
Once all this sent I get a text message days later saying that I had still some documents outstanding. I went throgh all the bunch of documents again they did not ask for anything else.
I sent an email asking them to please explain to me what else is missing. I got no reply at all. I had to phone them and ask what other document is missing. It turns out that they just wanted a copy of my driving license which they did never ask for.
This is the second time I am renewing with them, shouldn't they alrady have a copy of my driving lincese or at least the copy of the car logbook?
I told them twice before that I had an incident with the car in which I have a hearing coming up soon, twice I told them. A different person is telling me know that I did not give them the information. This person cut my call quicly.
Hard to buy in the first place. Long wait times. And after the endnof my policy a month ago I'm still waiting on a proof of no claims certificate.

Guy called Regan helped with my renewal. Did take some time but did beat my lowest quote. Been with RCI for 2 years now. Haven't really had any issues.
Not one to leave reviews poor or good. However, if you're thinking about being insured by this broker think again. I made payment, and then cancelled within 24hrs and they are still trying to consistently charge my card to the point where it has affected my credit score and further cancelling my card. I've had no personable contact when trying to call. Still haven't had a response back and now the bank is involved stopping the claim. Still waiting for a representative to have the recency as to why i'm still being charged.

Right choice insurance Brokers are a middle man, so you can just go directly rather than have them mess you about for days like they did with me......... making you do all the leg work as soon as they have taken your MONEY! And by the way they cant phone you like they did at the start to TAKE PAYMENT you have to phone them.... all emails are from automated robots too, making you have to call them costing you time and money.

What can I say I ve read all the reviews and was scared when I had already committed, but wow the customer service was exceptional, and that s not using the word lightly. All I can say is try your best to be put through to ozzy and you won t go wrong. If you re honest then he will be too. No drama car insured good Togo lol.
Absolutely awful company do not use they are extremely un helpful and rude its a nightmare trying to get through to them on the phone waiting sometimes nearly an hour to speak to some one then you get passed to different departments they disconnect you sometimes also. There cancellation fee is excessive and trying to get your no claims from them is an absolute joke have asked 5 times for it and still havnt recieved it. It is also stupidly hard to get your policy documents sent to you. They are unprofessional and unreliable do not get insurance with them.

I found myself in a very sticky predicament,, Jade and her amazing manager both went above and beyond to resolve my issue sk thank you to them both. RCIB truly are good value for money and genuinely get you the best deals. Unlike most companies who are very robotic RCIB has a very humanized, empathetic and understanding approach. Long winded process for a renewal, usually I receive a quote in writing and take it or not. This was like the original quote when I was a new customer. I didn't believe it! Young man very polite and kept his cool. Only thing he didn't ask was my favourite colour, blue by the way.
I dont care what people think about RCIB but for me they have provided excellent experience and 10 Stars to Shane throughout the call.
