The rep was respectful, helpful, expressed concern, and was knowledgeable able different rates of Insurance and gave several options.She was very fast in insisting me with my policy.Amazing Job overall!

I have never had anything but good dealings with Rider. I have never had a claim but I will say their prices are great and I have referred many friends to rider too.

1.) I really like the company
2.) The customer service people are always absolutely great to interact with.
3.) Making a payment on the website is miserably bad, which is why I have interacted with the customer service people.

I fortunately have never had to use the insurance but their rates are the best that I ve found anywhere and they discount your annual premium if you stay with them each year. The only complaint I would have is that it is very difficult to pay your premium online. I usually wind up calling on the phone to pay it.

I have to give Rider a 10 rating for motorcycle insurance. When I had my trauma injury my wife dealt with an empathetic and proficient agent. She handled my situation above and beyond my expectations. I tell everyone I meet about Rider and how happy I am with them.

The staff was so helpful in bundling my coverage for my 2 bikes

Rider Insurance is extremely easy to do business with. More than once I've used their insurance to have by bike towed and never had a problem with being covered, or having to pay for the tow. Their web site is very user friendly as are their representatives when I have a question. I recommend Rider Insurance wholeheartedly without reservation.

Very POOR customer service. When I have to be kept waiting on the phone for over 20 minutes I would give your company a faint grade of F!!

When I started using Rider they were the only company that wrote motorcycle insurance in NJ, now I use them because they are loyal to their customers and the BEST company writing motorcycle insurance in NJ.

Best pricing in the business. Great service, one story i have my brother was riding with someone that broke down the tow truck ran over my brothers bike rider took care of everything.

The staff are very friendly and helpful. I usually call to insure my bike right from the DMV and the call is always under 10 minutes so that's important when on line or waiting. The service is faster when you have your old policy # and I've noticed they're less expensive than other companies that can bundle your motorcycle under an auto policy .

Got my first policy with Rider 1978 and 41 years later I still have them covering 2 motorcycles and in the last couple of years they added roadside assistance in their policy and needed to use it 3 years ago and continue to carry their insurance.I have been lucky not to have a claim in all these years.I recommend Rider Insurance.

I never write reviews however I feel this company deserves it.
I have been with Rider for over 13 years. They have always had the best price and provide timely customer service.
I recently relocated temporarily for work and left my motorcycle home at my primary residence. While at my new location I witnessed a horrific motorcycle accident and decided that my 30+ years of riding are over. I wanted to sell my bike but in order to do that I had to ship it to myself. Once the bike arrived I promptly listed it for sale. Within 2 weeks of my bike being here, it was stolen. I was absolutely pissed as anyone would be. The police here were less than helpful in the investigation and I figured I would never see the bike again.
My second phone call was to Rider. I have always carried comprehensive insurance on all of my bikes. The agent was courteous and empathetic to my loss. Initially it appeared that I would not be reimbursed for my loss because the state I relocated to was not covered by Rider.
The claim process took some time as the police were very slow to respond to Rider. I am happy to say that Rider did the right thing and took care of me! In the end this company stood by me and helped offset a potentially significant loss. If you are reading this, do not hesitate to go with Rider! They did the right thing. Thank you Rider!!

I have been with Rider since the early 1980s using the insurance to cover three bikes during that time. Although I have never made a claim, had an accident or even gotten a ticket in all that time, my rate increased when I moved from NJ to VA. In NJ I was a "preferred" customer and paid $70.00 less than I do now. The insurance company that I have my house and car insured with will give me a better deal on my bike than Rider. Sounds tempting.
On the other hand I have used the Rider Road Assistance twice and I was very pleased with the service. Rider also worked with my wife when she bought me my dream bike, sending all the paperwork to the dealer so I would be surprised when she brought me to the shop.
So, as of right now I am still a customer and will probably stay as one even paying a higher premium.

I can only rate at 5 stars because there has never been a problem with this company!

Terrible!!!! Get another company or beware!!! Im still waiting on my check after 3.5 months. They never return emails, phone calls, or send correct documents...Rude, nasty staff who are never in the office. I wish my job gave me that much vacation time

We have been with Rider for many years. I cant say how they handle claims as we are fortunate and have not had any. I am recently disappointed though because we renewed and had a increase in premium based on our area? I think insurance companies should base premiums on individuals and not areas. We keep our bike in a garage and behind a locked gated property. our area is subject however our home is not.

I have had Rider Insurance for going on 5 years. I had a claim last year where someone hit my bike on a parking lot. Claims adjuster was fast and explained the whole process. I took my bike to the shop of my choice and had the bike fixed as good as new! Nothing but praise for this company!

Renewing my policy was very easy, I have two vehicles covered by rider and the prices are
Exceptional. Customer service is outstanding. I once had a claim with my atv a couple of years ago
And a claims adjuster came to my house immediately and did a full inspection of my accident .
I was very impressed with what he found and covered.
If anyone wants a no hassle company that will cover your accident , rider is definitely who you

It was very easy to get signed up I checked with other insurance companies they said they could not give me the coverage for that price

Great rate and good online services for starting motorcycle coverage & renewal. I did not have any claims with them so I cannot rate that aspect.

Back in 2001 i had a mc accident and was out of state,coming back from Connecticut.i was at Westchester medical center Valhalla, rider insurance took care of everything,bike and everything was paid for,all I had to do was get better and get out of the hospital to be with my family and friends. I've been a Rider customer for years and have never had any problems with them. Their prices are very reasonable.

Riders Insurance is the best, they have low rates and some of the best customer services ever , unlike other insurance agencies. I ve been with them for a while and has no plans on switching.

Honestly, I didn't know insurance companies did as much as Rider Insurance does. You get the sense that they truly care and the fact that they're cheaper than ALL of the big names out there helps. My only gripe is that they only offer motorcycle insurance. Keep up the great work!

My bike was in a flood last year. It was imperative that I get it to a dealer ASAP to flush the motor. Rider sent a tow truck (flatbed) the next day, when the water receded. and my bike was saved. They acted quickly. I recently got a quote from another company that was $20. cheaper. For the peace of mind and the way they handled the situation which was great, I'll stick with Rider!

Best rates and services. If Rider is available to you and you don't have them, you're just insuring with the wrong company.

One never truly knows how "good" their chosen insurance is until, usually for unfortunate reasons, they need to lean on it. I was in that situation a couple years ago after a perfectly timed run-in with a couple deer. In a nutshell, things happened fast and left me with only healing to focus on. Great insurance!

If you live in PA and ride and can find a cheaper more reliable insurance provider please let me know. Go Rider!

I really like that Rider Insurance specializes in just motorcycle insurance. Signing up was easy. I am planning a long ride this summer and the road side assistance that comes with the policy is a a great extra. After shoppimg all the other big names who claimed to be the cheapest and trust me when I say this, I got much better coverage for significantly lower premiums. That being said, I have (Thank God) not had to make a claim and that's when you find out how good an Insurance company really is. It is of course my goal to never find out just how good they really are.

I have never had to use my policy for any of my bikes.
but I am pretty confidant if I ever do they would have my back.
Love the way they do business.
