They have rates that I can live with, and are courteous regarding sending out reminders so the coverage doesn't lapse. Haven't had much dealings with them, which I see as a plus. I know they're there if I need them, and that's what counts.

Good rates and very easy to renew your policy. When you call Rider, you talk to a real down to earth person, not a machine with endless prompts or a call center person that follows a script. 2019 Update - Just renewed my policy and the rate dropped $90 for the same coverage. One more reason to like Rider!

Rider insurance offers great competive rates and now has the technology in place to do all of the stuff big insurance companies offer. If shopping for insurance for your bike definitely worth taking a look at! I have been with them for over ten years and have not had a single issue. Now that I can pay online I am even happier.

Rider used to be the best, great value and perfect customer service. After I lost my bike in Sandy they were amazing cutting me a check in days and I swore I would never leave them. That was before they informed me my K1300s had been reclassified and my premium would be rising from $400 to $1600 and if I wanted to add another bike it would be another $600. i promptly went looking for insurance and progressive is giving me twice as much coverage for both bikes at $600 per year!! Now the next part of the saga continues, as trying to get a refund is painful, what you may have not read in your policy is the charges for cancelling a policy, looks like they will be screwing me over and trying to keep 80% of the policy even though I cancelled less than 6months in. Its a great shame Rider used to be about the riders, not anymore. I predict unfortunately they will not be around much longer.

I am and have been very happy with Ryder Insurance for almost 10 years. My motorcycle was damaged from a tree falling on it and I was not able to drive it to the shop to get fixed. Ryder immediately got it picked up and took it to the repair shop. Ryder was quick, professional and easy to work with while my motorcycle was being repaired. Thank you Ryder for being there for those of us who need or have needed you in the past. I am still riding to this day the same bike that you had repaired for me.

Rider motorcycle Insurance has been my choice since the early 1970's. Their rates are very competitive and they apply a good driver price discount. Thank God I've never had to make an accident claim, I ride as safely as I can and keep my bike well maintained. I'll continue to use Rider Motorcycle Insurance for the for seeable future. I've recommended Rider to newer riders and everybody I speak to appears to be very satisfied.

Overall - customer service rep was very helpful in all aspects of the call and to renew a policy that expired the day before. Note: The policy had expired because I never received the renewal in the mail - USPS issue ? In any case, an email the day or week before policy expired would have been helpful.

Claim processing is a pain, but otherwise their insurance policies are reasonably priced and easy to manage. I got my first claim ever resolved, but not without talking to a manager after getting denied. Would be 5 stars if that was smoother. I was happy with the outcome otherwise and was happy for the 4 years I've been with them.

I forgot to pay my renewal, so it was cancelled, but the service rep reinstated my policy and took care the MVA request, although I still have to pay the fine, but it was painless and no hassle, I was impressed, thank you Rider insurance.

I ve had Rider Insurance since I was 15 with a moped, and have never used another insurance company with any motorcycle and I m now 40. Rider is very easy to deal with and have some of the best rates around. I had a small accident and they were quick to send out an estimator to assess the damage and get me a check to get the new parts. I had mostly aftermarket parts and they were all covered. I will never use anyone besides Rider during my riding career.

I was run off the road by a car doing a panic lane change in Philly. Despite doing a taped interview and filling out a packet that had me drawing pictures, they decided I was at fault . Rider is dead to me. Low prices equals no service. You get what you pay for

This the worst insurance company ever!!!! Filed a claim 2 1/2 months ago. I've called numerous times just to get the status on the claim, either the adjuster is not in or out on lunch. I've left messages with the supervisor and no one has returned any of my phone calls, but they know my number and quick to call when the bill is due...smh.. I'm the VP of my moto cycle club and almost recommended these clowns to my whole set, glad I didn't!.. I'll never insure nor recommend anyone to these money takers!!

Have been a reliable and relatively inexpensive choice for motorcycle insurance for many years compared to the larger insurance companies. Customer service is always polite and responsive and claim handling is exceptional.

I purchased Full Coverage Motorcycle Insurance through Rider. Last Year they Informed me that is was going from $440 to Over $1600 Due to them Re-Classifying the 2010 Aprilia RSV4. The Bike Manufacturing Classification has and will always be the same as it was when it was produced. I have been trying to Reach the President of the Company with No Results. How can a Legit Business not Honor their Insurance Price for an Existing Customer? It should not be legal to Raise someones insurance 400% in one year. I purchased the bike factoring in the insurance price they provided of $440. I now have not been able to ride or sale the bike in years with out taking a huge loss. Please Help Me with this Bad Business.

I originally went with Progressive for my motorcycle insurance until I found out it cost me half as much for better premium at Ryder. The customer service is excellent. The website portal is very easy to use. Great company thank you

Had Rider for a few years... Not very helpful when you need them. Every interaction with employees they sound miserable and clearly don't give af about earning a customer's business. Called to remove a current bike and get a quote for what a new one would be. CSR rep said she could not give a quote by the bin (CSR was just lazy and did not want to enter in 17 digits) gave her info on the bike, she hit me with a QUOTE THAT WAS DOUBLE THE ONE THAT PROGRESSIVE GAVE ME. Bon Voyage . I've been thrilled with progressive ever since.

The price is awesome but the customer service and personal contact is nonexistent. Any time I ve tried to reach a person I ve been unsuccessful for days at a time. Recently, during this renewal through months of not needing to make a payment my account needed renewal. I usually pay it immeditely in full I did not receive so much as a phone call. Personal contact every now and again would be nice, Especially when it comes to renewals

Have had no issues with this company at all. I also never had the need to place a claim. Representatives always seem polite and definitely competitive in rates. Rider was highly recommended to me by a friend when purchasing my Harley and would recommend them as well. Thanks Rider Insurance.

I have been a customer with this company for two years without a claim and never missed payment. They did not mail the bill for my last payment nor did they call. When I actually called in to make the payment the agent gave me an attitude as if I always miss payments. The last payment was for $63 and the agent told me they canceled the policy. I ask extremely politely if there was anything they could do, seeing how I paid for two years with no issues and she said no and that I would have to make a new down payment and create a new policy (with an attitude). I'd rather spend the extra couple of dollars and deal with Geico.

currently I am giving them a 2 Star review, this is not because they provide poor service. The two star review is because when renewing my service, I missed my renewal date by one day, called them the very next day to correct the issues. I would understand not helping out a customer that is brand new and that has not been with them for "X" amount of years, but I have been riding with them covering me for 4 years now... They still charged me a re-connection fee which took my bill to almost $240. Nearly $80 more then my stated amount. When I kindly asked if the increase was due to missing the date by one day, they tell me that that is what the additional fee's are. When I was young and dumb and missed my care insurance fees Erie helped me out and waived the fees for me so I would not be so hard up for money as a kid. I was only with Erie for one year at that time, I have been with Rider for 4 years... I know that I will be seeking a new insurance provider because of this. They have competitive rates but at the end of the day, the rates do not make up for the seeming lack of compassion for dedicated customers that have been with them since they have started... I wish them luck in the future.

Most of the staff that I've encountered were/are extremely professional, knowledgeable and friendly. Premiums have been better than most reputable insurance companies. I've not filed any claims as of yet (Thank God)! But on one occasion, I have had to use roadside assistance. It was extremely fast and efficient. And, the roadside assistance person that they use in my area treated my bike as if it were his (with pure T.L.C.)!

Rider has been very helpful and continued to keep me up to date when I had a claim. It is really nice to have an insurance company that understands and specializes in motorcycle coverage. The staff at rider has always been very polite, professional, and very easy to work with. Strongly recommend Rider insurance for all motorcycle riders.

I would like to pay my bill online but your system is very difficult to use. Your log in system is mare difficult than it needs to be. I enter the information and it acts like I don't have an account. I generally have very little difficulty using on line systems.
