Lodgy of 2016, concerned with the failing TCE engine. Result: broke down on a Sunday with children 500 km from us, because more oil while the light did not even turned on. After activating our legal protection, we got tests and engine change but as it is the same, we can no longer ride serene and we know that one day when the other, it will recasser. Renault does not want to recognize the problem and of course unsellable vehicle. A shame !! Never again will we take a vehicle of this brand!

The executives at Renault have made decisions, which we can assume, have made work buddies ... there is no other explanation ... otherwise it is even more serious than that. Without any mastery, and without any precaution, they dismantled a warehouse of spare parts and in addition changed the management software of the chain of command, all without taking precautions. The new software does not work at all, the commands do not arrive ... Result? Customers who wait very very long their vehicles, parts that do not arrive, dealers harassed, heads of workshop forced to juggle because cars pile up on the car parks for lack of parts to repair them and the whole thing whole weeks. The "Renault protocol" being strict, the dealer can not get parts from parts dealers of third origin of course, even if it is original parts !!!!! But no zeus! The customer is us, it's not you! Ironically, some parts being made by and for Nissan, it would have been interesting, during the crisis, to agree to make a breach of the superb protocol Renault (which seems to exceed the fundamental rights of the consumer) to make a arrangement internally and to use at Nissan who they have no problem of supply at least concerning Nissan engine parts ... no! Of course, the Renault watchmaker's car is working on him. He's just ruining people's lives, destroying jobs, whole lives because the family car is in a two-piece carafe for 30. .. he bumps into it, for him the car is free. But we, the beggars, the customers, the pigeons, we can not work, we lose customers if we are independent, we can not go see friends and family, we can not do the shopping, we can can no longer go to our children's pool courses, or extracurricular activities, and in case of medical emergency, we are delivered to the Russian roulette bowl. In short, a whole rotten life for two pieces of nothing at all and a medieval, totalitarian protocol of repair, which has no meaning and no finesse. Renault cars to live said the slogan? Well, yeah ! You have to live it to believe it. Sales will feel good.

Diag error with damage to 10,000, the garage recognizes but refuses to assume :( !!
Car concerned: Espace 4 PH3 initial 175 cv 2012

1- I issued a repair order to the renault buc garage for noise and acceleration jerks

2- I receive a diag + a BVA change quote at 10,000

3- on the basis of the exorbitant cost of this estimate and the lack of visibility on the date of repair by the garage (part not available at the buc garage), I was forced to buy another car (going on vacation imminent).

4- when returning from vacation, with the advice of an auto gearbox expert, the car is repaired (a simple injector to change)

5- Explanation:
The symptoms of the faults were indeed related to BVA, but these faults were generated by the injection system (which sends erroneous frames inducing BVA in error)
The buc garage remained on the symptoms, therefore on the consequence and not on the real cause ... with confidence of course

6- With this good news, I go to the person in charge of the workshop to ask him for compensation for the damage (at least buy me the car I bought for nothing because of their bad diagnosis and which still remains on my arms ), he recognizes the technician's error but he considers that legally it is beyond reproach since he did not carry out the repair, which originally would have been useless ... It's absurd !!!!

Who better than Renault to come out with such profanity indeed!

New vehicle received mid January 2020 with a month late mid January (strikes, I'm ok not your fault): appointment 4:30 p.m. received 5:05 p.m. Pb on windshield and tinting of windows for which I moved on February 10 to Renault Faches (we photocopy my registration card and I am told we are taking care of it) and since ... nothing more ... Ok I buy Dacia is not Audi but it is the second and last vehicle that I buy from you ... (Message to the CM who will respond, I will change this note the day you move ...)

Very disappointed with the brand, vehicle bought in March 2019 at a Renault agent, very quickly overconsumption of oil. Engine declared hs in August 2019 at 78000 kms for a design defect. 359 diagnosis and remains a charge of 500 despite the guarantee that did not want to support everything! Inadmissible for a defect of the manufacturer. I am one of the many victims of 1.2 tce! A Renault to assume now !!!

We apologize for the engine crashes 1.2 TCe and DIG-T, we missed on this engine and, well aware of the damage and disastrous situations in which we put our customers, we will therefore recall the vehicles equipped with these engines and propose to their owners to take back the value argus + indemnities in proportion to the mileage traveled, considering the overconsumption of oil, gasoline, costs and repairs caused by these failures. Since we have not been able to make these engines reliable, we will not propose a repair or engine replacement because we could not guarantee the durability of the latter.

Since 2015, Renault and Nissan have been aware of the design flaws in the 1.2 TCe and DIG-T petrol engines (Renault Actis solution 10575 and Nissan TB EM 15/05 internal notes), leading to over-consumption of oil, engine noise, etc. in the end to break the engine around 60 000 km on average!
They preferred to hide these defects and have not proceeded to recall the vehicles concerned, leaving tens of thousands of vehicles degraded!

I myself am a victim of this EngineGate and despite my reports under warranty, my engine has been diagnosed good to be replaced after 5 years and 2 months, 115 000 km!

No support, Renault having good game to find "shortcomings" on the part of the customer not to assume his own!

The attitude of the builders in this issue is a national shame.
The inertia of the state organs is just as shameful (I think of the DGCCRF which has absolutely all the elements but does not do anything at the time or I write these lines).
And the TOTAL powerlessness of consumer organizations in the face of such practices is extremely worrying.
