I had a great experience at RRMC, The nurses were all phenomenal. I especially liked my nurse named Chris who was a contract nurse. She made sure she explored every possible avenue to help me when I had another health problem that could not be initially identified.

I spent a total of 6 night at Redmond Regional Medical Center due to having Covid-19 and double pneumonia. Every staff member encountered from ER to custodial staff were all wonderful. I highly recommend this facility.

Last night brought my daughter into the ER due to a high fever, they took us back immediately at first to check her weight, temperature etc. Then sent us back in the waiting room to end up waiting for 2 hours to see a doctor, we finally got a room and waited about 30 mins to find out our nurse is HORRIBLE with kids, she held my 9 month old down, pinched her little red cheeks together BLEW in her face and poured medicine in her mouth!! My baby choked and spit it out! I don't blame her! Then she left and the doctor comes in about (God knows 1 hour later?) Wasn't the best service I regret bringing my daughter there, don't ever bring your baby here!!! Bring your elderly family, it's good for old people, but not kids! I'd suggest Gordon or Floyd for kids. Redmond you let me down! I will not bring my children here ever again.

The ER doctors have always treated me well and answered my questions thoroughly. /Most/ of the ER nurses are nice. I've been to this hospital a few times and the patient service can be lacking from time to time...
I'm just going to assume it is because they are busy, but it can get frustrating. Especially when I continue to tell them something and get semi-ignored or beat around a bush.

Can someone do anything about ER #6 extremely loud tube system?(I'm assuming.) They had to keep the door cracked because as soon as it was closed, the tube system or something made a god awful repetitive and loud noise. Sensory overload for people like me. I do not know who to contact about this.

The attitude of the nursing staff, but only the nursing staff, was such that I will never use Redmond again. As my GI doctor uses it exclusively, I will return to the VA hospital and its doctors, eighty (80) miles away, rather than be subjected to such mistreatment again.

Currently in the hospital with my mother, after watching several of the staff members come in to offer assistance, the overall hospitality and service of the staff is very dull and most of the time they will walk in without even speaking a word, no greeting, just silence. Ultimately I had no control over what hospital my mother wanted, but from the times i've expierenced Floyd Hospital, their service should be a model for Redmond.

The Dr.Jackson's and his team at Redmond did an outstanding job on mt Cath last Tuesday. Everyone was so nice and made me feel at ease. They answered all my questions and encouraged me to as well. I will return to Redmond if ever I need medical attention. THANK YOU !!! Tara Spears

Poor service, unprofessional and not very thorough. My son was there in pain and wasn't given anything for over 8 hours. He was not eating or drinking, that was ignored. We won't be back EVER!!!!

I love this place. My wife has a lot of health issues. She had skin cancer surgery in Birmingham a week ago and her blood pressure dropped pretty low after the surgery. We went to the ER and was in in a few minutes. She had gotten where she could not keep anything down. I met Dr. RAJ going down the hall and asked about the cafeteria. He took time to lead me there. I told him about my wife. That evening he came up and took over after she was admitted. He was awesome. He had to leave after a couple days. Dr.Harris took over . I have never had a doctor treat us so good.It was like we were family. The nurses , techs, house cleaning ,security guards were the same way. Breanna came and waited on Penny like a sister. I could go on and on. They set us up with follow up doctors . You will never find a better place. We are from Hoover and have moved to Georgia. The doctors and hospital are much better here. I know where we will be going.

My husband Was sent to ER by Harbin Clinic for asymptotic EKG have been sitting in the waiting room for 6 hours. Have yet to see a Dr. used to love Redmond. I am very disappointed in the service. I was under the impression that chest pains should be taken serious.

Worst experience ever!

Worst experience ever!

Pros: The specialists were kind and professional
Cons: Hospitalist Dr. Keefe. Rudely treated me and he had a condescending attitude towards me. I requested him to tell me what the Radiologist thought about the X-ray and he refused to tell me. Then he went on about some article which I decided to look up, and guess what, it doesn't exist! I think he actually may have Dementia.

The only hospital I'll go too. The Drs and nursing staff were excellent, I was very I'll and they treated me with skill and compassion. The M.D. over my treatment was a caring and professional Dr. He had a team of doctors in training which made me feel they were attending my visible symptoms, and underlying disease which could make me much worse if not addressed. I left Redmond feeling better, but neededmafter care and the nursing staff made sure I addressed the appointments. The charge nurse on 1st shift was top notch, and Nicole on second shift went out of her way to make me comfortable. Thank you Redmond staff.

The staff was very friendly. However they did not seem to be very empathetic to my being deaf in my right ear and almost 60% deaf in my left ear. I had an MRI and an MRCP where they place headphones for your ear protection and to communicate with you. I was completely unable to hear the instructions given during the procedure.
Following the procedure, the staff (somewhat snarky) explained the procedure would have gone quicker had I listened to the instructions given. I had already told them I was very hard of hearing prior to the test. It was quite hurtful and extremely embarrassing. I felt like my deafness aggravated them and left in tears.
I have ALWAYS had a wonderful experience with Redmond. This however was a less than pleasant experience. I will still use Redmond over Floyd any day. Maybe be a little more empathetic of others handicaps . That s all.
Otherwise, as always a great place to receive healthcare.

The cost is unbelievable and they separate everything out and you continue to receive bills. Redmond is not cost efficient. Charged insurance 32000 dollars for one night and this did not include the doctors which I saw maybe 5 minutes each. Continuing to get bills. I called and was told that I was paying for the technical side of the care. Professionals are separate. Not pleased do not recommend. My out of pocket is 6000. And in one night I reached that with no problem. I also was billed separately for ER stuff. Care was ok but the cost was ridiculous. All the bills need to stop.

I broke my tibia and fibula bones in my right ankle on July 25, 2020 around 11:30am. Had an ambulance take me to the ER, where I was immediately placed in a room and evaluated for my impending surgery. The Redmond staff made sure that I was in as little pain as possible while waiting to be taken back to the Operating Room. Once back there, the surgeons also made sure that I was relaxed and confident about my surgery. Stayed in the hospital for 2 nights and 3 days, and had an excellent nursing staff.

I recently had to have surgery at Redmond's Outpatient Services. It was an excellent experience. Due to various health concerns, I've had to have surgery 3 times in the past 3 years. Each was a different type of surgery requiring a different surgeon, so I have been to Floyd Outpatient, some facility in Marietta, and this week - Redmond.

Redmond went above and beyond to ensure I had the best possible care. I can say without exaggeration that Redmond was by FAR the best place I have been. At Floyd, I had minimal care and downright RUDE nurses. In Marietta, they were professional, but it was obvious their top priority was getting me out the door and out of their way.

At Redmond, they were not only incredibly professional, they were also very CARING. They seemed genuinely concerned with me, with how I was feeling, and with making sure my family was comfortable and kept up-to-date. I not only had the best medical care, but the best personal care, as well.

The nurses were kind and attentive, the doctors answered all my questions and were reassuring, and even the team members that simply moved me from one room to another were amazingly kind. I especially want to thank the anesthesiologist for being so attentive. I cannot remember any of your names, but you all made me feel much better.

That extra personal attention may seem small, but, as I said, I've had surgery 3 times recently and had bad experiences. There's nothing like waking up in pain to a nurse that is rude to you (hence why I will NOT return to FLOYD) or feeling like you don't matter (Marietta). Redmond's team went the extra mile and that means a lot. I hope I don't have to have surgery in the near future, but when I do, I will certainly schedule it at Redmond.

If you need a hospital for ANYTHING, I would recommend Redmond 10 out of 10 times. They were amazing.

THANK YOU, OUTPATIENT TEAM!!!!!!

Being at Redmond Regional Medical Center was a great experience for me, even under the circumstances. All of the staff were extremely helpful, supportive, and kind. I felt like they really cared about getting me the help that I needed.

the x-ray dept got everything wrong and I was x-rayed 3 different times before they got it right. This made me nervous and cause me not to trust them. THis needs to be addressed with you x-ray staff. The Dr and nurse were very nice and I was pleased with them.

I wasn't treated very well at all. They acted as if my symptoms didn't exist. While I was in the room, I wasn't seen by any nurse or checked on the WHOLE time! The only person I seen the entire time I was there was by the nurse practitioner and that was only twice! Will not be going back!

The staff and nurses were great, everything went smoothly and quickly. This would have been five stars, but the pre-op check in process is a little odd. I have no idea what I gained by checking in online. The forms need to reviewed for clarity. The questions are sometimes redundant and in several places they ask that you circle what applies and then have a fill in the blank or yeas or no question.

I have been visiting family of a close friend who is in the 3rd floor ICU. I have never in my life visited a more inhospitable waiting room in any hospital anywhere. Rigid row after row of cold, hard plastic chairs in a glaringly lit room is all that welcomed the families. I have seen driver's license renewal waiting rooms with more comfort. We found a moment of humor during a crisis by joking that they apparently didn't want anyone to be there while loved ones were in very critical condition. Little did we know.
I eventually asked an employee about it and was told that it had JUST been remodeled and that they tried to create an environment where visitors would NOT stay. So sad... as I doubt many families would leave a critically ill loved one alone in a hospital ICU. And those coming from another county are just stuck.
Shame on you Redmond for not realizing that few families are going to be run off when a loved one is in ICU. You should have the decency to give them a warm inviting area. If there are those visiting who are ill-mannered, then you should deal with them, and let them know they can be uninvited from the area.
Your nursing staff was very warm and caring. I just hope you don't treat them like you treat the family members and visitors of patients in the ICU.
You must be one cold-hearted and hard-nosed CEO and Board of Directors. Shame, shame, shame. Kindness matters.

I think it is ridiculous that I waited in the emergency room for 8 hours when there were only 5 people in the ER when I walked in the door. I think the sign posted on Turner_McCall that advertises a 3 minute wait to be seen is very much false advertisement! Its a 3 minute wait for you to collect our money and put you back in the waiting room!

This hospital is doing a great job with my dad . We took him to 2 other hospitals and they just gave him pain medicine. My dad is heavily bleeding from both private areas . I'm so grateful to this hospital for everything they are doing for him. They work fast .

Horrible service! I will never recommend this place to anyone! I came to the ER this morning for a 120 pound crate falling on my leg at UPS. They did x-rays and it wasn't broke. Which I told them it wasn't bc I drove my self to the ER. The doctor came in for about 60 seconds said it wasn't broke then he felt of it a little and said ok your good to go. I said we'll can I have or use a crutch to help keep the wait off it and he smiled and said I didn't need no crutch. He then asked if I needed a technos shot so I said yes. Keep in mind my leg is still bleeding this whole time. I was never offered a bandaid or wash cloth nor anything for pain while I was there! I was treated as if I was a drug addict and I'm a manager for ups! Well he then walked out of the room then I was served with discharge papers. I never got my shot nor did they do anything to clean the cuts to prevent a infection! I was sent on my way without a wheel chair. I hobbled back to my car. I was given prescription of ibuprofen and hydro/5mg for the pain which I could careless about the pain medicine I just wanted the cuts treated and cleaned properly to avoid a nasty infection for ups where these packages cross the world with only god knows what on them. Places like this are supposed to care for the patients! I have had a back surgery at Redmond I used them a lot! But after this I will never return and make sure everyone I come into contact with knows how unprofessional and uncaring REDMOND really is!!!! My paperwork said I was dismissed with a ankle sprain from a 120 pound crate! DO NOT USE THIS PLACE!!

My daughter spent 4 hours in the waiting room with a dislocated jaw. She was in an extreme amount of pain and couldn t talk or swallow. Many people walked in after her and were seen. What concerned her the most is the other patients came in eating food and talking on the phone and were not in distress.

Her problem was made worse by having her jaw locked for this long. This is the second time this has happened to her and the first time she went to this hospital they saw her within 2 hours and her pain afterward was much less.

I entered RMC on Monday July 29th, 2019 for a total hip replacement. From my pre op visit to my discharge I was so impressed with the staff and the care I received. Everyone was professional and made me feel confident that I was in the right place. The Enchanced Recovery Program is an excellent program to prepare you for what to expect while in the hospital ; from physical therapy needs, what you need at home after discharge, if you need inpatient rehab, or swing bed. They offer assistance with insurance, medicare, and what your protion of the bill will be, and what medicare will cover. I had a great experience, (aside from the general pain of the procedure)! I will never go anywhere else.

In August 2016, the ER staff at Redmond [potentially] saved my life by relentlessly getting to the root cause of my symptoms and discovering a potentially deadly pulmonary embolism. I am confident that many hospitals would have sent me home early in the process as a healthy 31 year old. I also stayed inpatient there several times throughout the recovery process (which involved some surgery later on) and the experience was pleasant. Thanks!!

My elderly mother and I were there four days. We have been at Redmond many other times over the past 19 years. This by far was absolutely the best and trouble free stay for her. All of the processes from admitting to release were painless. The hospital dr was great. Dr Talat. Thanks

Excellent hospital. They took my symptoms very seriously. They were thorough in ruling out potentially life threatening causes. All of the staff were very friendly, and there was not a single grumpy person to be found.

If I could give a negative 10 I would! Aweful service when it comes to trying to fix something they messed up on in the first place. I've called multiple times, get transfer and call drops. Very poor "professional" people work here! WILL NEVER GO BACK & don't recommend anybody to visit! Jackie C is the worst!!!!!!!!!!

I recently had a total hip replacement at Redmond Regional Medical Center and was very pleased with the doctor who performed the surgery and all the wonderful nurses who took care of me during my overnight visit. They were very attentive and made sure I was comfortable and all my questions were answered. I would highly recommend this hospital for any of your needs.

I have always felt so safe being so close to such ...

I have always felt so safe being so close to such a good Heart hospital BUT the experience that my Uncle & family members in the CCU area are having is UNACCEPTABLE.
1st they moved him from CCU at 5am to a room without notification to ANY family. So at 9:30am we go in to visit and he is GONE. The nurse just flippantly says, he was moved, like it was no big deal.
2nd they had him down to be discharged AGAIN WITHOUT ANY notification to ANY family!!!! His doctor or nurse didn't notify anyone, my sick uncle did. This nurse, picked up the chart and said, oh yea, I guess you are leaving. He had not been checked on since being left in the room around 5am.
His wife and sister wanted to stay in the CCU waiting area last night but they removed all of the recliners and so they only have straight office chairs and will NOT supply blankets for family members anymore.
THIS HAS ONLY CHANGED IN THE LAST 2 WEEKS. HOW DARE YOU MAKE THE WORRIED & SCARED FAMILY MEMBERS OF THESE PATIENTS IN ICU/CCU FEEL SO UNWELCOME!
We met an elderly lady who was from out of town who couldn't drive who was at the hospital with her husband and stuck in such an unwelcoming environment.
SHAME on YOU!

Best location to get your mammogram. From Registraton through the procedure, the Staff were friendly, professional and efficient. I was in and out in 30 minutes with no waiting. Well done Redmond!

I was unfortunate enough to need to make an ER visit here after an accident in the area. There was virtually nobody in the waiting room and I was therefore admitted straight away, which was nice. The staff were also mostly nice and very courteous, though they were not very professional.

The quality of the treatment was exceedingly poor. The staff bruised me while putting in an IV and didn't know how to properly bandage my injured hand. They took a few hours incorrectly reading x-rays to leave me with absolutely no diagnosis, a suggestion that it might be a broken bone (it wasn't), and a suggestion to see an orthopedist after a week of rest. This was a terrible suggestion, as I ended up needing to see one within a day and being put into a plaster cast for the severity of the ligament injury (notice, not a broken bone as the incompetent staff led me to believe).

Even better, the administrative staff couldn't figure out how to work insurance, so bills are coming directly to me.

I went to a specialist back in Atlanta and got care that was absolutely incredible from highly professional staff that didn't accidentally bruise or misdiagnose me, complete with administrative staff that could properly bill my insurance and leave me paying very little.

Just drive to Atlanta and get better care, this place is awful.

While the staff members in the Women s center are excellent, I cannot endorse the ultrasound group. After waiting two hours I was told my ultrasound wasn t necessary per my doctor. I leave and go straight to dr and he never said it was unnecessary. After a phone call from my dr I went back and they completed my ultrasound. Not a good practice.

I want to thank the staff at Redmond.....my father was a patient there for 30 days....the nurses on the 3rd floor including the ICU were absolutely the best at what they do....I have never seen so much caring and professionalism as I did in these wonderful angels..... Jessica, Rose, Ally, Kendra, Joan just to name a few were so compassionate, not only to my Dad but to my entire family. We were always asked if we needed anything. If I had the power to pay each of you what I know you are worth I would have to take out loans in every bank in Georgia. The housekeeping staff were friendly, compassionate and very helpful. My Dad says that Miss Ernistina gave the best baths he had ever experienced. My Dad was also a patient on the 2nd floor as well as the ICU on that floor. The nurses, housekeepers physical therapists and all the other very qualified professionals were outstanding in their duties. My Dad is alive today because of these wonderful people who I consider family and who my Dad considers his guardian angels. I hope these amazing angels get the credit they so deserve. As for Redmond as a hospital, this is the best overall place i would recommend to anyone who needed to heal. Thank you to the many doctors who gave my Dad the ability to still be with us today. Doctors Parsa, Merritt, Mcalhannon, Wen and Mckimmey among others are truly gifted. Thank you all very much for all you have done, even if it was the smallest of details, you handled it with grace, care and love. I am humbled beyond words but filled with much happiness. I love and respect you all. Again, thank you all for the part you played to care for my beloved Father....You all are definitely my families ANGELS ..... ....God bless each and every one of you.

I was checked in quickly, efficiently and everyone was polite. That was the best part. The worst part was that the test I feel could have been done on rented equipment and with a youtube video and it take 20 min. Or walk into a Walgreens and do it. Was NOT worth the cost.

My husband had a very difficult and challenging heart surgery at Redmond, performed by Drs. Parsa and Goldfadden. After a two day stay in ICU, we moved out to the third floor for 14 more days. I can never say enough about the care and attention we received from the nurses, techs and cardio rehab folks. We were always made to feel like we were the only people on the floor when in reality, there were no empty beds! The nurses kept us informed about what they were doing and what we could expect. Their attitude toward us made our very long stay much more bearable.

You truly cared about me, my family, your were amazing, thank you everyone, to house keeping, the maintenance dept., the fantastic nurses, my doctors, all absalotly fantastic!
