This isn"t a review for the Three Mills Studios, but for the little stretch of land next to River Lee. Amazing place to have a nice bbq in summer. Perfect because it is close to a massive Tesco and at a place that gives you more of a feeling of Copenhagen than London. Just pass Three Mills Lane.

What a great job they have done to regenerate this part of East London. Lovely open spaces walking and cycle paths. Play areas for children. The sun was shining when we went on Easter Saturday although it was a little too cold for a picnic but I shall certainly be back in the summer to spend the day exploring the footpaths and waterways. Great way to get the kids away from the computer games and into the fresh air.

good

Went here for a recording of a new series called The Al Murray Great British Pub Quiz. No one looked at our tickets(!) and security were removing food and drink (including bottled water) from people. When asked if we would get those back, the guy said they would be on a table ready when you leave. I said what about if you want a drink whilst the show was recording and was told we would get bottled water in the studio... yeah work that one out? It was a lie as there was no bottled water available in Stage 6, so clearly lied too.

The only toilets available were portacabin ones. Facilities here are dire. I've been to many recordings, Television Centre, The London Studios (now closed) and Elstree, never have we had food and water removed and all have provided inside toilets.

I don't think I will be returning here again. If you are going, make sure that you consume any food before entering the complex and drink any water... oh and nip to the Tesco nearby if you want a pee in the warm with hot and cold running water.

Unexpectedly quiet and little known London surprise. Get on a guided tour to hear more about tidal mill's operations. A Tesco and a small park nearby mean it is easy to organise a picnic in good weather.

3 Mills studios is a beautiful hidden sanctuary away from the noise and the traffic. it's the meeting point for a number of canals and is dominated by an old water mill that now houses a film studio. The mixture of cobblestone paths and weeping willow trees gives it a very relaxing vibe

Went here for a recording of a new series called The Al Murray Great British Pub Quiz, if you enjoy being treated like cattle then this place is for you ! No food or drink allowed in to the site and once through security no access to food or drink. Probably just as well as the toilets are just one portacabin. When we complained we were told the tickets were free, the implication being you get what you pay for. If you are going be warned
