Run down with some shady folks staying there. Enter at your own risk.
Hotel is ok, you can tell they are trying but it's just not there yet. Our first room on the 4th floor had bed bugs. Hotel clerk didn't even bat an eye and switched our rooms. Second room did not (husband has bed bug certification or whatever goes along with that.)
Then, at night, when it gets dark, the front door (only door) gets shut and you have to be buzzed in. Cops patrol the hotel as an extra shift to make sure nothing happens. It's cool they are here, but gives you an idea of the area.
The free breakfast consisted of coffee, so don't plan on eating. It was before 8 that I went to check out the breakfast, so no reason for it to be put away. However this was a perk listed on Travolocity, which appears to not be the case so I can't fault them for that.
The rooms are nice, the beds are new and very soft. TV was big/new, and the rooms had a microwave and fridge. The top of our toilet leaked in the 2nd room, but this was better than bed bugs.
They only provide you with 2 towels. Towels worse than the towels I used in basic training. Two pillows on each queen sized bed, and not all the lights have bulbs, and the internet doesn't work during peak hours. It's close to six flags, and cheap, ish. We are pretty easy going, it takes a lot for me to write something off, but I draw the line at bed bugs.
Great spot and easily accessible. Close enough to all the action.
Staff was rude. Rooms were super dirty. People were selling drugs in the lobby to the staff. I had my kids here. I wanna speak to a higher up because this was the worse experience ever. I want a refund.
When you drive up you see the security guard that's on his cell phone playing. Car scattered everywhere not parked in a parking spot where they belong. When you walk in the door all I smelt was marijuana and crack. Fantryvia the front desk lady was very rude a disrespectful. She did not want to help at all she would just wanted to play on her cell phone. This place looks like a dump. When I got to the room and open the door the TV was on and the window was open like they were smoking crack. The room reeks of marijuana and a sweet smelling crack smell I remember the smell when my stepdaughter was involved you cannot forget that smell. I do not recommend Red Roof Inn in Atlanta. Too high price for what you're getting this is a hourly room.
Location is great. Quality is pretty bad. Dirty rooms. Really bad WiFi that might as well not be present.
Awful atmosphere for kids and adults. There were adults hanging around the hotel all day just doing drugs repeatedly.
Terrible! Run down, unprofessional staff, dirty and stinky. My room smelled like cat urine as soon as i opened the door, I immediately went to store to get disinfectant and air freshner. The lamp was broken and had to be replaced by a worker who appeared to be a customer hanging out with friends. I don't know who runs this hotel but it's an absolute shame. I would never come here again.
We needed a cheap room that took pets for job interview... We got that. Room was decently clean. Front desk was nice. Lots of people around the entrance to the hotel at all hours. Possibly from a trucking company? No where to walk dogs... Reserved a non smoking room and got a smoking room... Not great on my allergies and asthma... Won't stay here again but it sufficed this time. Oh and strip clubs surround the hotel... Good for those that want a buffet? Just not us....
Nasty. You have been warned. The staff is rude and the area not safe
I appreciate the call and they made me feel appreciated. Like I said, I like the good customer service and the cheap rates. As long they can keep alot of people from hanging around front entrance. Other than that, great people. Thank you
A WHOLE IN THE WALL I WOULDN'T LET MY CAT STAY THERE HOOD HOTEL
People in parking lot made me decline staying overnight. We drove back home to NC instead.
Quite horrible that their is prostitutes and crackheads always around, and u six flag owner are lieing to people its still like this was a year ago! You can easily get robbed at this filthy place should cost less as well
Write a Review From start to finish, poor service .. rooms a rubbish! Dirty and in poor repair. The photos on the site are pure deception. Run from this place.
A dump! Avoid this place like the plague. Urine smells in hallways, filthy carpets in rooms, bad part of town. One saving grace is nice staff that work there.
Would give a five but after 2days the manager sent someone to we had to vacate the premises because he smelled TF in my own rm
I CAN'T recommend this place not even to my worst enemy that's how bad this place is
I arrived at 11 pm to find out that my room had been cancelled because I had not checked in by 8 pm. Normally that would have made me very unhappy, but in this case I was overjoyed by the fact that I did not have to stay at this hotel.
Lousy. No cold water, not enough light in the room. No were in the building you can get cold drinking water. Lousy.
Arrived to pay for my reservation, canceled it before I paid.. place smelt of weed, nasty dirty place
Dozens of flies in the room, trash outside, dirty rooms, not worth the price at all,had to check out early, don't waste your money here, the worst motel ever and overpriced for the quality
Bad area, carpet had sticky stuff that mad your feet dirty.. if you absolutely need a cheap room, for whatever reason, this place works, but I'd recommend finding better options. Even the Uber drivers explained they didn't like the area and one almost cancelled on me.
What a memorable nightmare......
1) We checked into the hotel at past midnight, the check in process took over 30 minutes.
2) During check in we were informed the cleaning crew comes in at 11 am to wake up guests to have them check out.
** While we were deep asleep at 9:30 am, the cleaning crew started banging on our door and screaming through the door- "housekeeping!"
Big difference between 9:30 am & 11 am.
3) Someone decided to microwave food with foil on which caused heavy smoking & 3:30 am evacuation.
** the hotel doesn't have any warning signs for someone who maybe new to microwave usage to warn of fire hazards.
4) the room was dirty, comforters had cigarette burns all over them & the white towel had previous usage stains.
5) the hallways were smelling heavily of cigarettes & other smells which were far away from being in inviting to the nose.
7) no visitors are allowed after 7 pm
** only people who are on the registration are allowed entry through a door which has to be buzzed open by the attendant.
6) the hotel charge was more expensive then what we were originally promised & no money was ever refunded back to us for the falsified information given to us.
** the amount paid for the hotel & the quality of stay does not match.
Overall, it is a super cheap place but have to pay a very high price to spend a night there.
Did I mention I won't be going back there?
This hotel was very crengy. I did not stay here on purpose. I will not be staying here ever again. Customer service lacked highly in the customer service part. No clean towels. No fresh linen. I arrived to my room 35 minutes after checking in and housekeeping had not done anything to the bed. I put my things away while she lazily replaced pillowcases. And my being in the room had no affect on her phone conversation about what she wanted to do for her kid's birthday. I waited 24hrs for clean towels that never came. I did not sleep well at all. Please unless it is otherwise life and death, and you choose death, DO NOT STAY HERE!!!
I have never seen anything like it!! The worst hotel I have ever set foot on. I had to go somewhere else to stay.
OMG Do Not Book Here!!!!!! We booked online.... Horrible I would give no stars...bugs flying in room and bathroom....heater smashed in... baseboard coming apart....guy in hallway tried to sell us drugs... You name it, it was terrible and room key didn't work.we left and found a beautiful room elsewhere.
Not the cleanest room I've ever stayed in, but also not the worst. The room was very big, but in need of repairs. 2 of the 3 lights were broken. The neighborhood also didn't feel very safe, but the onsite security guard made up for that. Service wasn't very friendly, but not rude either. A very average, rundown hotel.
Smell of marijuana overwhelming. Elevator was not working. When they got it running, the "employee" had a barely lit cigarette in his hands. It was hot as can be. And many women dressed in a "peculiar" manner roaming in and out. Not saying anything is bad here but not the place to take the family.
It save me a lot of money staying at the Red Roof Inn and not a bad place to stay I have seen worse it by six flags
Just keep on by.Do not even stop. I was in the Army for over 20 years. We slept out in the elements on cots. This is preferable than staying at this smelly motel. It reeked. The pictures shown must be of another motel. My room had no TV. When we approached the clerk about this situation we were told the manager would be returning soon. About 3 minutes earlier, this same clerk was speaking on the phone to, what I surmised was a disgruntle client. She told this person that she had no idea when the manager would return. We asked and got our money back and found a much better motel. There was one young lady that looked a little like a working girl. I was not excited about this prospect and the consequences that might arise. Stay away and move on. There are other much better motels within the same area. We found 2-3 in the discount book you are able to find at most service stations. Never again. Our stay at the Red Rook Inn in Little Rock, Ar was an extremely good experience. Excellent service, good free breakfast and the room was in excellent condition.
Location is pretty sketchy, right next to a strip club. Rooms are decent, microwave and fridge in room, beds are better than expected. Service is pretty bad, rooms weren't cleaned for an entire week stay even after asking multiple times.
Located in a somewhat shady area but a decent inn once you are in your room.
It looked cheap and creepy. The staff, or one staff member I saw wasn't exactly friendly, and it didn't feel safe. If its the cheapest place you can find go for it since its inside, but if you can find something better I'd recommend it.
we made a reservation driving from Chicago to Atlanta. When we get there they give us a card for our "room" we walk in the room and its occupied!!! we walked in on someone at 130 am in the morning. then the front desk girl walks down the hall banging on doors to see if they're occupied and they are. Wow never again this place
It's still under renovation, but the staff was very friendly, the room I stayed in was clean. The manager even got me a ride to my truck!
Rooms were surprisingly clean, staff was amazing. Lowest price in the area and was close to downtown attractions. Very affordable and best Value. Free Breakfast and coffee all the time. They had Power outlets and USB ports on the lamps. No external access to the rooms which feels secure. Our three night stay was wonderful. will definitely come back.
Better then I expected after reading reviews online
Got to clock out at 11 and come back at 3 if you wanted stay there
Only giving it two stars because of the staff. The hotel itself didn't deserve that many. It's a strange hotel that was unlike any other red roof I've stayed in. It's not really all that close to six flags. It is right next to a strip club so it's a little scary getting back at night. Could hear hotel security banging on people's doors in the middle of the night. The room I was in had the bed on one side of the room and the entire other side was just empty. Oh and there were holes in the walls. Oh and when I was walking into the building a rat ran past me. But the staff was nice so there's that.
Hallway smells joint bar in the afternoon. Front desk are very rude. We travel for work and thought it was convenient for us but I rather drive further than staying.
I made reservations a week and half to two weeks ago. I call around 7 to see if we would be able to check in around 1 or 2am and the young lady said yes as long as your here by 2am. We get caught up in traffic ans whatnot and I call again around midnight to ask what would happen if we would get there at 3 and the gentleman proceeds to tell me I should have called earlier to let them know I was going to be late because they already gave my room away that he would cancel my reservation and I would not get charged! REALLY?! We finally find a hotel to stay and the next morning I look at my account and they charged me for the whole trip I was going to stay. I call them to talk about it and they tell me I need to talk to the people I booked with:expedia. I didn't need to call expedia called them back and they gave me part of my money back, still charging me for a night after I called to let them know I would be late AND the guy said they wouldnt charge me. Rude customer service!! Never EVER going to Red Roof Inn EVER again!!!
Rude staff. Indian ran which means you will be itching from bug bites. Crackheads, etc. Maybe the most disgusting place in the city. If you stay here without a gun you might not make it. The staff won't clean the rooms and they don't give you towels. They come in late and leave early. Don't stay here. Until they tear it down. Then, don't even park your car here
They don't have any amenities the rooms are clean ,I seen a baby roach , walls are paper thin and smokes fills the air from cigarettes ..aslo their maintenance main is rude to guest, there is no microwave in room's also the rooms are affordable $135 for 3 nights .
The Worst.... We finally get comfortable with what's going on here with the changes for the better but when you lie and say you have a pet policy and my dog has to go or we go on the spot no time to figure something out but wait within the same day I guy comes and check in with a dog same size as mine smh. Need proof
Service was fine, the area is rough but the rooms are cheap so it balances it out
If i could rate it a 0 i would. Terrible place HORRIBLE
Just do yourself a favor and sleep in your car. This place is total trash.
If I didn't have to rate this hotel with atleast 1 star to post, i wouldn't have even given it that... My husband had to be here in atlanta for work.. this was a decent hotel for the price.. nice sized rooms.. for my husband our 3 year old and I.. it was clean and we were on the 4th floor.. close to lobby and could also see our vehicles parked outside of our window.. but the one night we had to park where we couldn't see them, our window was busted out of our truck and our truck was ransacked.. we called police...who never showed and only wanted to file a case over the phone.. this happened at about 7:30pm mind you.. we filed insurance and decided to just stay another night and that we would find another hotel in the morning.. when we woke up another 4 cars (YES I SAID FOUR) had been hit.. 4 separate vehicles also had their windows busted out.. the security is supposed to work ALL night long until 6 in the morning WALKING THE PARKING LOT.. they were also notified of the incident, but their security needs to be fired and restaffed with people who will actually DO THEIR job, instead of stand around and smoke weed in the parking! YES, the parking lot!!!! I SEEEEN YOU!!! there are 3 different nude bars within 1 block of the hotel and i couldn't count on my hands and toes how many prostitutes i seen walking around the gas station.. and a number of men in cars riding around asking if you needed anything, (in reference to drugs) he held his hand out showing every drug under the sun to my husband.. I WOULD NOT reccomned this hotel to satan himself!!!!!
Karen is amazing. Her costumer service was amazing.
DO NOT BOOK HERE! THEY DO NOT KEEP RESERVATIONS! YOUR ROOM WILL BE SOLD IF YOU DO NOT ARRIVE BY 3PM! I WAS NOT PROVIDED A KEY TO MY OWN ROOM! OFFICE STAFF HAD TO LET ME IN EACH TIME BECAUSE THE LOCK WAS BUSTED! RESERVED 2 BEDS HAD 1! THE PERSONNEL IS IGNORANT TO PROSPECTIVE OCCUPANTS! DRUGS, PROSTITUTION, SMELL OF URINE, & WINDOWS CRACKED OPEN! WALKED IN AND SMELL OF WEED WAS OVERWHELMING! PLACE SHOULD BE SHUT DOWN! NO VENDING MACHINES THAT WORK, NO COFFEE, AND NO SUITABLE MANAGEMENT! THEY DESERVE ZERO STARS!! DO NOT THINK THIS IS A FAMILY OR EVEN REMOTELY DECENT HOTEL FOR FRIENDS AND FAMILY! COPS AND SECURITY ON SITE DESPITE EVERYTHING GOING ON. BAD SIDE OF TOWN. STAY AWAY!!!!
IF YOU ARE NOT FROM THE STREETS...PLEASE DONT BRING YOUR FAMILY HERE..Pictures don't match actual room, location isn't family friendly;surrounded by 3 strip clubs and constantly soliciting. Rooms are rundown and smelly, microwave and refrigerator were filthy and the room was infested with nats coming from the microwave and AC unit. Hotel service was non existent and room service did not clean room. Not worth $140 by far. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY & TIME!
Good place to stay nice clean and the staff is so friendly I recommend that you stay there and they have good deals
Red Roof Inn is not a good place to book if you're looking for comfort, safety, or luxury. Horrible internet. The rooms are horrible. There are no good restaurants around. They're beggers and a strip club right next to the hotel. It's not a good place for young kids to be around at all. Don't waste your money.
The crackheads on this property were extremly cordial. The interior was much cleaner than other houses of ill repute that i have frequented. I didnt hear a single gunshot all night and there were evwn representatives of a local congrigation handing out free roses to the resident mistresses. Overall quality experience.
Only gave this place one star to write a review this place gets no stars from me , they don t clean ur room or give u clean towels . The first one I got I had to ask if they had better because it looked like a trap room better yet the whole place is a trap hotel. I was scared to leave my room scared to be in the building the beds are caving in ... they didn t have tissue in the rooms .. the pictures in the room are upside down smh customer service was nice but over all place is a dump the place is filled with drug dealers, hookers and baybaykids people smoke in the hallways DO NOT GO TO THIS PLACE I SERIOUSLY WANT MY MONEY BACK
Hotel was cleanier than I thought. I stayed on 3rd floor it was quiet and the front desk clerk David was Great!!! I would stay again.
The front desk lady was very helpful in everything. Nice place to stay and pretty affordable. Would recommend
Dirty, not vacuumed, uneven flooring, no amenities whatsoever. Lots of smoke
Only One Sentence " Please Don't stay here" . Rooms were dirty, staff was unattentive and No parking.
Worst hotel I've stayed in. It was dirty, loud, and they charged me twice. All throughout the night prostituts went from door to door. When we got in the room the beds and floors were dirty. Never going here again.
It was the worst....no hot water...no ironing broad.....no clock the room just look like it was a storage place....this had alot of foot travel all thru the night hearing doors slam all night... I believe this hotel used to be a shelter because thats what it remind me off......I will never stay here again....
This is a red light district area so the environment and atmosphere caters to transients and troubled .the smell of cigarettes permiate the entire place including the non smoking area, the lighting was very dim and the internet service was at a standstill or non-existent.The place appeared clean but I suspect a black light would prove me wrong so I Lysol the entire place especially when I spotted two hair follicles in the tube.I could continue but why the point has been made .However, I will say the clerk was pleasant that is why the place received 2 stars...
We arrived at this hotel on 3/24. Right next door to a Texaco, low class strip clubs and smut shops. Tried to pull into carport to unload luggage. Couldnt. People loitering in and out of vehicles (20 or more) with music so loud our car was vibrating. Walk into the front doors and you could catch a contact buzz due to the smell of weed smoke. Upon checking in, giving the establishment the benefit of the doubt, were escorted to our room by their "security" who resembled a famous rapper. He then asked for a tip for voluntarily carrying our bags. Upon looking around our room we quickly realized it hadnt been cleaned after the previous inhabitant. Tv stand was made out of broken glass with the set being electrical taped to the stand. Blunts and cigarettes extinguished on the furniture, There was a green substance on the vanity, the trash was full of previous occupants garbage, the complimentary cups were full of water and juice from previous inhabitants, the bathroom ceiling had caved over the tub. We didn't expect a 5 star hotel for the price we paid. All we wanted was a spot to lay our heads headed south to Florida on our honeymoon. The security dude told us that the area around the hotel is full of crime and drugs and that the previous hotel manager sold drugs out of the place. So all in all, we checked out as soon as we checked in.
Hotel staff and management has been reluctant to return my calls. I was told over the phone i would be reimbursed the two nights. Instead, one week later they pulled it from my credit card. I then called the front desk, and was given the runaround by Da'nica who will leave you on hold for 20 minutes or until you hang up. I spent 1 1/2 hours on hold between this location and customer service. Even customer service corporate couldnt get through.
I have been in Property Management for years as well as construction. This is by far the worst property i have ever visited. Poorly managed. Poorly maintained. The pictures on their website are horribly misleading.
Now they are holding my money from me, while ignoring me. My next step will be contacting CEO Andrew Alexander, if this stubborn location refuses to cooperate with me. As a CEO myself, i understand customer service. The folks that run this hotel do not. If that doesnt work, law enforcement could probably fill the local jail with this hotels inhabitants. Guarantee drugs and prostitution are still rampant out of this dump.
