Hotel is ok, you can tell they are trying but it's just not there yet. Our first room on the 4th floor had bed bugs. Hotel clerk didn't even bat an eye and switched our rooms. Second room did not (husband has bed bug certification or whatever goes along with that.)
Then, at night, when it gets dark, the front door (only door) gets shut and you have to be buzzed in. Cops patrol the hotel as an extra shift to make sure nothing happens. It's cool they are here, but gives you an idea of the area.
The free breakfast consisted of coffee, so don't plan on eating. It was before 8 that I went to check out the breakfast, so no reason for it to be put away. However this was a perk listed on Travolocity, which appears to not be the case so I can't fault them for that.
The rooms are nice, the beds are new and very soft. TV was big/new, and the rooms had a microwave and fridge. The top of our toilet leaked in the 2nd room, but this was better than bed bugs.
They only provide you with 2 towels. Towels worse than the towels I used in basic training. Two pillows on each queen sized bed, and not all the lights have bulbs, and the internet doesn't work during peak hours. It's close to six flags, and cheap, ish. We are pretty easy going, it takes a lot for me to write something off, but I draw the line at bed bugs.
