I mean, you get what you pay for. The staff is super nice though. Other review stated there were bugs, etc. I didnt experience that. The room was cleaner than I expected. It is a little run down, but nothing a coat of paint wouldn't fix. The soda machine give cans and I can hear everything going on in the rooms next to me. However, the staff is super nice. Cordial, respectful.
This place is a slum Motel with lot lizards cruising the parking lot waving down their tricks jumping in and out of their cars all night.

Room was "clean". Area was busy with questionable folks. Although im sure they were mainly dealers, users, and prostitutes, they were friendly. I left my new car there for several hours and it stayed safe! Overall, elevator and ice machine worked and staff was friendly.
Be warned. While owner is engaging, this is located in a drug infested ghetto. Known criminal and prostitute area.
The rooms were not well maintained, the smoke detector was making noise all night. All the people I spoke with said that the area was full of drugs.

Do not stay here!!! Lights didn't work, window didn't close all the way, no screen on the window either and we had small kids with us as well, we chose queen beds and they gave us full, chose a non smoking room and got a smoking floor. We could smell weed in or room all night from next door. There were cigerett burns in the blankets on both beds and hair all over one of the beds. They also made us pay a pet fee when the website clearly said pets stay free reguardless size. And so many other things wrong with this red roof inn! DO NOT STAY HERE!!!
8 Years Military Service, 2 years at a pet hospital, 1 year at wal-mart and this was the skeevy-est night of my life.
To be honest the staff seemed pretty courteous and checked me in quickly and efficiently..... That was the Only Positive. To start It was hard to find due to the nude bar next door having a sign 3X bigger than Red Roof. The shady gas station directly next to the hotel shocked me with it's skunk weed stench and the cashier behind 2 inch glass. That being said it was immaculate compared to the rooms. I have heard often of run down motels with an infestation but to walk in the room and see Roaches (who dispersed from some diabolical meeting in the middle of the floor). First rule of Roach Club Don't leave anything against ANY wall. They will immediately find their way into your bags. As i pulled my laptop out to write this a little friend was already hugging it. Rule 2 if you wish to sleep at all keep the lights off and pay no attention to the shadows. Some of the things that did not make this list were. Horrible skunk weed smell in the entire building, shady "residents" in and around the building smoking and being obnoxious, and burn marks on most wooden surfaces. Do NOT stay here. I realize now that i missed the positive of the roaches only being an inch long or less
P.S. "Currently starting a family album for the roaches, they have come to accept me as one of their own. The album covers only the 14 photogenic insects that roamed accross the wall in broad daylight."

Never had to leave and find another hotel before. There were issues with the inside lock on the main door and the outlet the air conditioner plugged into was burnt like it shorted out and caught fire. The second room they offered us was ok at first, but I found blood on the light switch plate and a cracked bathroom sink. I didn't like the vibe the whole place had and the window in the second room was broken as well. I have never left a hotel or even motel so soon after checking in. Also it was in a very rough area of Atlanta. The staff were extremely helpful the entire experience. Check in, assisting with the room exchange, and to finally cancelling my stay they were 100% polite and promt. They also expressed concern regarding out request to cancel and requested feedback so they could try and assist with preventing future issues. They made me wish I could give them a separate review because they were so helpful.
This place is the absolute worst place we ever stayed. Got two handheld amateur radios stolen from room...smell of marijuana in hallways and mgmt. wouldn't do anything about it...service was terrible...continental breakfast was box of fruit loops with no milk or bowls...coffee was lukewarm...door was falling off hinges...bathtub had no stopper and floor of tub was slick as ice...security personnel dressed like street thugs...need I say more? Yes, after reading previous reviews I wonder why corporate hasn't pulled the franchise from this owner. So many negative reviews, yet NOTHING HAS BEEN DONE and I'm never will be. To repeate...this is a drug den with horrid conditions that I will report to the Atlanta BBB as well as the health department.

I read the reviews before reserving my room, yet booked anyway as it was close to Six Flags (where the family and I planned to go the next day) and was pleasantly surprised of how well the premises was maintained; our rooms were a nice size and very clean. The front desk personnel was very friendly and accommodated our every need. I did not smell any weed or see any shady characters. It's not a 5 star hotel, but its very nice for the Price! Will recommend to anyone...
The room was nice and clean maybe that's cus there is an older Hispanic lady that cleans it thankfully... Now I'm not one to judge about weed smoke but boy that's all you could smell when you walked in. Then you got the people hanging out front not dumb to what they where there for then you got the prostituts all over did not feel safe at all first time ever we had to lock or hotel door. We stayed here for one night and the staff was very kind and accommodating. We had a double room and it was very clean and tidy. We also brought our dog which is a German shepherd and there was $0 pet fee! That's like unheard of!

worst hotel i have stayed in life. the non smoking rooms aren't practically existing. i tried three rooms all had been smoked into with AC full on to mask it. one of the room had serious roach and bug infestation. no iron board no big towels. location near strip clubs not feel safe or family atmosphere. please avoid at all cost. worth maybe 20 bucks
This place really doesn't even deserve one star. By far the worst place I've ever stayed. Had to move rooms 3 times. One of those times they sent us to a room and our key didn't work so their security guard let us in and there was someone asleep in that room. Another room we tried, the door didn't lock. All around terrible experience. Also had to fix the toilet of the room we did stay in. I wouldn't recommend it to anyone whatsoever.

Awful, horrible! Booked two rooms, non- smoking. Both rooms' comforters had cigarette holes. Bath tub had stains, rooms were in need of desperate repair. Neither television worked, nor did the Wi-Fi. I was traveling with my children and the surroundings did not make us feel safe.
Staff was nice, and apparently aware of the problems and have reported them to management...Nothing done. I called the corporate office and was offered a free stay in another location...

Don't expect much at this Red Roof Inn. I've stayed at many Red Roof locations but this one is in disrepair. We stayed in the 5th floor and one room had the door standing open where it appeared to have been broken down. It wasn't repaired or even closed but left in this condition. There are no working ice makers. The ceilings are covered with stains and the furniture is all damaged. When I called about the hanging clothes rack which had been pulled out of the wall when we checked in, they simply "made a note of it.". The hotel had police guarding the entrance when we returned after 8p. I'm not sure how safe the area is, around the hotel. Choose another location, if at all possible.

The rooms were clean but I was bitten by bedbugs or something. Voice in the halls and house keeping knocked on the door 4 hours before checkout asking if we was staying another night. Its a whole in the wall hotel, staff was polite though.
Courtney the manger is always drunk, she drinks on the job, she has sexual relations with the young guys, Courtney also puts families out who stays and cause no problems, Courtney sends who she wants to jail when she gets mad...she charge 25 to 50$ in late fees that she and the young gay boy wit dreads keeps...courtney puts people lives in danger when they inform her of an issue wit a non paying guest she tells you she will not let them back in meanwhile she and her employees gives him a key to my room... She also discriminates against people guest...also there score is a 87! It's hidden behind the clock...housekeeping comes once every 2 weeks not on every floor...
Poor quality over all. Drink machine out of order on every floor. Hit toe on uneven bathroom walkway. Poor WiFi connection.

I am here as I type.. The only reason I came here is because I normally stay in red roof inns when I travel. I am here with my children and I will never return. The front desk clerk had an attitude. The entrance is full of hoodlums. The room has a funk. There are prostitutes and drug dealers in and out,shady looking individuals and I feel uneasy. This place is ghetto. Oh did I mention the AC unit cover fell on my 1 year old which I will be writing to BBB about. No need for a automatic apology you've told to all the other unsatisfied customers... If I could afford it I would leave NOW!!! 0 stars

Im sick I had to give this place a star just to post my review , because they don t deserve it . I m coming from another state and This hotel was terrible. Starting from the check in process .1: the staff Couldn t program key cards . 2: the we re working on the hotel at 2am. Mold everywhere in the hotel . Walking through the hallway were broken beds and box springs . . . I got to the room the beds were dirty . The bathroom door had holes punched in it . The peek hole on the main door didn t have anything on it , meaning you could stick your finger right through it . We get back to the lobby to Check out after being there for 2 minutes , a lady was having the same problem . This place is terrible I would never recommend this place to anyone . Be careful .

DO NOT STAY HERE - I arrived after a long journey only to find they had cancelled my booking. The lady at the front desk was rude and pretty much was like tough luck find somewhere else. I have travelled all around the world and have never had a hotel/inn treat a customer this bad. Do not stay here it is old and outdated hotel and hence why it s cheap (I am travelling around the world so do not mind it)... but if a hotel is happy to cancel your booking without a warning, how can you trust they will have a booking for you. (I have spoken to others who work in the industry, they said they do this so they can charge more money to customers who turn up with out a booking and hence cancel your booking).
My son checked in at the Red Roof "Six Flags" and it was deplorable the smell of weed in the halls, people in the hallways dealing or doing something shady, he was accosted in the hallway, and when he got to the room it was not too clean and only one light worked. He checked out and the management charged him for one night, which I will dispute thru the credit card company. I am sending this to corporate and to the Atlanta police department. This place should be shut down and I am sure the strip club next door adds to the condition and the NON family atmosphere. STAY AWAY
Walking into the hotel it smelled like complete cigarettes, after 30 minutes of checking us in my wife and I walk to our room and the room was completely trashed. I have pictures . The room had to have been broken into because the window was left open. We immediately asked for a refund and left! Wouldn t recommend for ANYONE ! Especially if you have kids. There s a sign in the lobby that says no prostitution, very unprofessional business and needs to be shut down ! Health code violation!

The bed was delicious, the room was surprisingly clean. There were no bugs, staff was great. There is no microwave in the room only the one by the front desk. There is no breakfast. It is an older hotel and not in the best condition. There are working professionals across the street from the hotel and it did smell like Marijuana when I came in. The reason I gave it 3 stars is because the staff is terrific and the room is clean. I didn't give it more stars because my room key can open any door on this floor. So if you cone here be sure to lock your door from the inside if you want to be secure

Went in to get my room that was reserved and smelled marijuana out in the parking lot. There was a security guard at the door and i asked if some one was smoking marijauna. He replied, "probably." I asked if they could do anything about it and he said that it wasn't his business to get into. When I walked into the front door to the main desk, the smell was awful. There were several people in the lounge area and i could see a haze coming around the door. Some one was in there smoking and the security officer was there letting it happen. When we got to our room. The bed was broken and there was nasty looking stuff in the bathtub drain. The bed linens smelled bad like they haven't been washed. The place was and real sht hole. I do not recommend taking kids there. Obviously we didn't stay and I still haven't gotten my money back after reserving it online. The reviews online said nothing about what we experienced or I wouldn't have bothered!!!!
The housekeepers were very loud, slamming doors. We were moved from one room to another because the tv didn't work. The second room didn't have a couch or a full siz fridge like the first. We were told they would put us in a room with a couch but never did. The airconditioner was leaking on the carpet. Told them for a couple of days and again said we'll put you in another room, never did. Check out is at 11 but they were knocking on your door at 9:30 to see if you were staying or leaving. We work at night and sleep during the day. Couldn't rest for them knocking on door an hour and a half before check out or slamming doors. Price is too high especially not having a working ice machine, no swimming pool and only one cart to bring in your stuff.

I think the only good comment I can say is that the manager Gabriel was very attentive very professional and very courteous... as for the rest I don t think this is a hotel I would stay if I were return to Georgia.... my room smell just like pure cigarette and marijuana and the tv remote worked backwards we were unable to work the remote my boyfriend went to the front desk to get some ice and asked them to provide us with a new remote therefore they brought us another remote and it was even worse it did not have a back piece the batteries were taped with news paper..... I have stayed at the red roof inn before and I love it but I will not stay in Georgia at the red roof inn .....
Was looking for a cheap stay for 12 hours, and this fit that bill. This does not seem particularly family friendly. Wouldn't stay here again.

It was probably the most scary movie type Hotel I've seen. It felt like a motel as far as amenities. Don't expect anything beyond what you would expect from a Budget Motel. Vending machines but that's about it. It is a indoor hallway Hotel though, so being able to go to the front desk without needing to step outside is nice.
It's one of the worst hotels to stay in Atlanta. When we booked for a non smoking room they assigned us a smoking room. The bathroom door had come of it's hinge, when we let the front desk know they said they would have it fixed by the next day, but they never did. The bed spring was broken.
Read the other reviews but it wasnt bad at all. Price was good. Rms were big. Sheets clean. Front desk was friendly and other guest was nice. House keeping was ok. The area isnt the best but never felt unsafe at the hotel.

Not a great neighborhood, too many begging bums standing at every business. Getting past that, bed was comfortable and all staff was very nice. No coffee pot in room but they have coffee made 24/7 in lobby. I personally had a good stay.

Room not the cleaniest,Bed very uncomfortable ,No wash cloths had to ask then night attendant was rude about it because we had asked for extra towels upon checking in .when you have four people in a room you need more than two towels.Marijuana smell bad inside and out .A lot of unsafe looking people hanging around out side.But considering it was next to a strip club what do you expect.I had no idea or I wouldn't have booked here.Pictures are very misleading.If you have kids stay somewhere else.I've stayed at Red Roof Inns before and they were awesome.Big let down for me .
