French press coffee., profiteroles, hamburger was good. The hot tea wasn't as hot as i would have liked it. Their choice to have puffed pastry on top of their chicken pot pie was unexpected. Also i woul have liked the vegetables to be cooked .
This was a solid, randomly-selected dining experience that we encountered while exploring Wausau.
I liked vibe and the decor.
Service was slow but good, so the meal was paced nicely and unrushed.
The Red Eye beers fit their descriptions well and we enjoyed their Kolsch and Pilsner.
Food portions were perfect (not the American oversized monsters of most restaurants) and were presented nicely. The food was pretty darn good. We had appetizers and entrees: pretzel with beer cheese & Dijon, curried mussels, followed by lamb & beef meatballs, flatiron steak. The burgers and pizzas that we saw pass by to other tables looked amazing also.
I'd say this place is worth a shot. I hope you enjoy it as well.

Delicious food, if a bit pricey. Only real downside is how loud the place gets. Worth a visit, but aim for off times, to avoid noise.

Came here for lunch with a couple co-workers. Most tables were full and there was no wait. Server was friendly and the food was delicious. I had the chicken bacon wrap with tots. Would highly recommend and will come again.

I love Red Eye. They have a great atmosphere, very good staff and the food is great. On this visit I had the "Sweet & Spicy Panini" which had sweet jam on the bread, jalepenos, cheese and bacon. It was different but was very good. Always enjoy my meal at Red Eye.
Great find on our way home via Wasau. We ordered an appetizer that was mushrooms with onions and garlic cooked in a red wine sauce served with toast and lemon goat cheese. It was fabulous and HUGE. Definitely worth getting it with a flight of their beer. Totally changes the character of the beer. The before and after was fun. We also tried the "Forager" pizza. Totally excellent! Definitely enough between the app and pizza for 3+ people. With 2 of us, we're taking about half of the pizza home and we're stuffed. We had to take a growler of beer home too. To top it off, the price was extremely reasonable. We'll make a point of stopping here again when we're in the area.
Busy for a Wednesday early afternoon with a 30 minute wait for one person. Ended up sitting at the bar and enjoyed their stout porter and porter, both great. Food was excellent too (wasn't expecting too much for a brewery, but was completely wrong). Great visit and experience, would definitely go again.

I don't remember the decor being over the top but the atmosphere was inviting. I was a little dissapointed in how long it took to get our food and thought there would be more options on the menu. Overall a neat experience though.

Service was very good. I had the Cobb salad. It was a C-. It was advertised as having bacon in it but what I got was what amounted to baco bits. Previous experiences at this place have been better.
I had the Italian Stallion special minus tomato. Sandwhich came with tomato and without the prosciutto it was supposed to have, that is my reasoning for 4 stars. With that being said, the sandwich was still fantastic as was my wife's BLAT sandwich. ESP Haze was tasty!

Great menu!! We had a good sized group so we could try a number of items. The spinach and artichoke dip along with the pretzels is what we started with and they were so fresh it was unreal. Burgers, pizza, sandwiches...it was all so very tasty. It was all very fresh!! Locally sourced foods served up right!!!

The atmosphere is awesome, with good food and drinks. A decent price for the everything and a nice patio area. The parking is limited on site especially during peak time, but worth a little walk if you have to park on the street.

Oh my gosh, if you want a great burger or super great food this is the perfect place to go! It is a Micro Brewery which my husband loves and great mixers. If you want organic and grass fed food I promise you will love it here! DON'T MISS OUT ON TRYING THIS RESTAURANT

Great food, great beer, great atmosphere. Only complaint would be the relatively small menu, but that only got to be a problem after a few months of eating here all the time! The wings are the best around (listed as an appetizer, but good for a meal too)! Highly recommended!

This restaurant, bar and eatery is such a great place. The atmosphere and environment is perfect for a quick beer, as well as a night out for delicious food. The variety of beer as well as the food comes in all shapes and types. Myself personally for the beer, I could not complain. Overall, I would highly recommend this place for a great night and I would definitely return to this establishment again and again.
I reserved a table for 10 ppl on Friday Dec. 27th, 2 weeks ago online. When I got there on Friday they said they had no record of my reservations.
The lady with the short hair and glasses, who I assumed was the manager was rude and didn't try to fix the problem, nor did she even apologize. She said there was nothing she could do, and that they were packed and it would be a 2 hour wait.
I heard they have new owners. Well the old owners were a lot more kind!

I've been here twice. Had the Man Pants Kolsch both times. It's a good kolsch. Would like to try some of there other brews sometime. Chose Man Pants because of its lower A.B.V. & I was on my motorcycle. The food is good. I like that they source from local farms.
On my roadtrip home to Minneapolis and several local friends recommended Red Eye. I started off with one of their taps, the Thrust, which was a nice IPA with a citris touch. For my meal I ordered the shrimp and blue cheese infused bada bing wrap with truffle tots. I asked for a condiment they brought out some masu truffle sauce, which has a great taste and went well with the finely shredded parmesan on top the tots. The total with beer came out to $20, which is a great price for a local spot, the atmosphere was excellent, the waitress was friendly and accommodating, and the food hit the spot. Will definitely return when passing thru again.
Coming from Minneapolis, MN, this has got to be one of the best restaurants I've ever ate at. The food is phenomenal and the flavors are out of this world. I can't wait to come back for more!!

Came here with a group of 20+ people around 7pm on a Tuesday. It was a great experience! The menu was full of lots of interesting and healthy options. Service was excellent and our food arrived for dinner in a shockingly short amount of time. The place was quite loud, but that's because it was packed. Close to the end of dinner the noise died down. I would love to come back here next time I'm in Wausau.
The food is topnotch as are the staff. It's always a pleasant experience. I love that much of the food is locally sourced. The only negative are the chairs - bring a cushion if you have hip or back trouble.
