This was a solid, randomly-selected dining experience that we encountered while exploring Wausau.
I liked vibe and the decor.
Service was slow but good, so the meal was paced nicely and unrushed.
The Red Eye beers fit their descriptions well and we enjoyed their Kolsch and Pilsner.
Food portions were perfect (not the American oversized monsters of most restaurants) and were presented nicely. The food was pretty darn good. We had appetizers and entrees: pretzel with beer cheese & Dijon, curried mussels, followed by lamb & beef meatballs, flatiron steak. The burgers and pizzas that we saw pass by to other tables looked amazing also.
I'd say this place is worth a shot. I hope you enjoy it as well.
