Absolutely disgusted. They were extremely rude and even talked bad about me to the point where I could hear. I struggle with depression and anxiety, and they gave me a really awful experience and I will never return. I even threw up in the floor in my room and they just threw a towel over it and it was still there in the morning. I didn t even get a pillow and my aunt who was 78, didn t get a chair till going on 4am and she had to either stand or sit on the edge of my bed. My aunt has bad back problems and that was just overall a really bad experience. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND ANYWHERE ELSE!

I had an outpatient surgery this morning. I don't mind saying I was a bit apprehensive due to the Ballad takeover and the negative talk as a result. Everyone from registration, the nursing staff and anethesia team were amazing and a God send for me. They all went above and beyond the job they are paid to do to make sure I understood everything that was going on and that we were in complete agreement on my treatment. Unfortunately I can't remember all the names due to the effects of anethesia but they know who they are and I hope they know they made a huge blessing in my visit today. I thank each and every one of you from the bottom of my heart. Great job , you deserve the moon!

I cannot say enough good things about the staff and the experience I ve had at Indian Path Hospital the last few days. They have been so amazing and so helpful. They were all truly meant for their jobs and I just wanted to let everyone know how awesome they have been. Every person I ve met or dealt with has been so nice and helpful and just so great at their job. A big shoutout to my nurse Terri who was with me during the delivery I couldn t have done it without you, thank you for going above and beyond before during and after my delivery to help make sure I was comfortable and helping me with all the postpartum care and to the lactation lady Donna you Have made this process so much easier and are really amazing at your job. The anesthesiologist man, you were amazing too, absolutely great at your job and I really really appreciate you haha. Every nurse I ve had has been amazing, thank you all. To everyone that has done something for us, cleaned our room (this woman is also amazing, she made us a card for our new baby and signed it) , cooked the awesome food, or has done anything for us Thank you From the very bottom of our hearts and we hope God blesses each and every one of you.

My wait time was about 15 minutes in the ER, which I thought was phenomenal. When I was called back the triage nurse and NP were Awesome. They made me feel relief that I didn't have a worse infection. By the way, I was there because of a lesion on my right breast. I had already had silver nitrate put into it, and am awaiting an appt with a general surgeon on Thursday. I was in a ton of pain after a few days of the nitrate and was worried that the infection had gone further inside. But the NP put my worries to rest, so I feel comfortable waiting to see the surgeon in 3 days now. I was very pleased with the whole visit. I was out of there in 45 min. Great visit.

Assembly line health care with little to no accoun...

Assembly line health care with little to no accountability. Bordering on extortion. Now that Ballad Health has a monopoly on healthcare in our area, they do not need to compete with rivals, therefore individual medical care quality will crash while prices will skyrocket.

When it became apparent that my wife and I could not pay $10,500 out of pocket for pre amd post natal care, we switched to TennCare. Our bill before switching to TennCare was promptly sent to collectiond and trashed our credit score literally a month before the birth of our first baby. They gave us no time to get the previous balance handled by the new TennCare coverage, and our loan for a new home was rejected based upon our newly tarnished credit score.

Sub-par medical care and predatory billing practices is what people in our area should get used to now that Ballad has taken over. This is what happens when people care more about social media and celebrities than what is going on outside their own front door.

This place sucks ass. I was taken there on Wednesday night around midnight for seizures. They were gonna kept me over night on Thursday and I was in my room for 4 hours. Not one person come to check on me to see if I was ok our if I needed anything. I rang the nurse bell 5 times to have someone help me to the restroom, nobody ever came so I went by myself. I was still real dizzy and I fell in the tub...busted my head and back. I screamed for 15 min for someone to help me. I was able to finally help myself up when they come in the room. They then decided to try to help I told them not to touch me they weren't there when I needed them. I took my iv our and told them to get me out of the worthless hospital. I would not take a dying dog there

Worst experience ever in a Hospital ER. My husband and I could hear the staff blasting the other patients and using horrible language. On top of all of that they charged us $800.00 for a tetanus shot. Their excuse for given a $50 shot and charging $800.00 is that the surrounding hospitals prices for that particular shot are the same. Well, that's funny because I was under the impression that all the surrounding hospitals were owned by the same entity BALLAD. Monopoly of the area, I believe so. "This merger is in our benefit" I think NOT.

They are very professional and courteous here. Prompt in their procedural processes. Plus, as I used to work here at the Childbirth Center as Unit Secretary over L&D, Nursery and the N.I.C.U, I have inside knowledge about this awesome and outstanding medical facility and its exceptional staff members.

There are leadership issues at the birthing center and nurses will continue to quit until it changes but it seems management doesnt care. If they did they would be reviewing these trends and verifying with HR that they are conducting thorough exit interviews. The fact is that HR doesnt do exit interviews with everyone so the information doesnt get documented and that is a fact!

Horrible scheduling for a MRI with sedation, had to get it rescheduled as they didn't have the correct orders in then when they did I was called by someone that administers the sedation and was pushing the time back as she had a class to attend, she then told me she would speak with the MRI department and for me to call her the next day, I received a call in the morning from the MRI place stating they wanted to move it but the day they wanted I had another test scheduled at that time, they then wanted to move it out even farther. I told them I had been dealing with pain for almost 2 months and if they wanted to push it out farther I will go elsewhere. They then said we will leave it after all that. Then I spoke with the sedation nurse as she wanted me to call and she told me she had them call me instead which I was never told that. The day of my test I went in to get the MRI and they told me I had to have had no food since midnight and they thought they told me, I said no and would have never agreed to a test that late in the day with no food after midnight. They said well 4 hours is ok it had been 3 hours, needless to say due to the fact they never told me about the eating issue it had to be cancelled. And would have to be rescheduled yet again. I think 1 thought the other told me about the food issue and said nothing. At any rate totally unprofessional and spent almost a hour just doing paperwork, then they said 4 hours would work for waiting in between and they didn't even ask if I would wait, I walked out and certainly would not recommend this Hospital for even a bug bite.

I prefer Holston Valley. MUCH better and higher standard of care. I hate that this merger is trying to take place between MSHA and Welmont Health Systems. The quality of care most likely will go down.

My first time to use services at IPCH was on 8/22 for outpatient surgery to remove my gallbladder. I was super impressed with the efficiency of the process from registration to release. The staff were all so courteous, helpful and friendly. Special perk that you get your own private room pre-surgery and return to that room after recovery. No waiting from stage to stage. If I ever need surgery again, I will request it be done at IPCH!

My wife has had two children at this hospital. I've been very impressed at how much our experience improved from our last visit in 2018 to 2020. The unit was exceptionally clean (I could see my reflection in the floors they were so well polished, props to the floor team!) The nursing team did an excellent job listening to my wife's needs (including the need for some quiet time.) And honestly the wifi was shockingly good... My wife streamed a movie on the wifi while waiting for her labor to progress and it came through in high def with no interruptions. Major downside was the food, overall it wasn't great but breakfast was good.

Great job Indian Path! Please keep it up!

I've never been treated here before so wasn't sure what to expect . The dietary staff are FANTASTIC.kind and considerate.most of the housekeepers were great as well, most.my surgeon was actually out of HMG,he done a great job. I can say I was not entirely impressed with the 4th floor nurses or cnas. Broken English and not trained well . My surgery went great but I wouldn't make this my first choice for future visits.

Such a horrible place, I would give 0 stars. My mom thought she was prediabetic so she went to get tests ran, after a few hours of that they give her the WRONG results, they told her her hemaglobin was at deadly levels, it should be 12-14 or something along those lines and that it was 19. My mom thought she was going to have to go to another hospital to get blood drained from her so she wouldn't die for 30 minutes. It was 30 minutes before they told her it was the wrong results, letting her sit there thinking for the rest of her life she will have to drain blood, she called the family and gave them the news leaving everyone so heartbroken. The only reason why they found out they gave her the wrong results it's because they CHANGED SHIFTS To top it all off, instead of getting the right results, she had to retake her blood work by those incompetent people. My brother has had horrible experiences here as well. Avoid going here at all costs, there is a reason there reviews are so horrible.

The front line lady wasn't very friendly, but the nurse and nurse practitioner were amazing. I had already been to 2 urgent cares and got given the wrong medicine which only made my pain worse. Thank you Heather Williams and her nurse for treating me with the utmost care and respect and putting me on the right antibiotics. I am highly grateful to you!

My husband survived his surgery and that's why the 4 stars. The one star they missed out on in the surgery waiting room. I got a cup of coffee and stumbled when my shoe stuck to the floor. I spilled about an ounce around my hand and got burned and a little on the floor. Nurse Ratchet retired and volunteers for the room. She's saying there is no water in this room so I need to figure out how to get it up and not make the floor sticky. I politely apologized and went to the restroom 2 doors down and got some damp paper towels and some dry. I'm disabled but got down and cleaned it up. She starts pointing at other spots "I need to clean". I humored her on a couple then told her I was done and proceeded to wait while her eyes were shooting daggers at me. I was told my husband's surgery would take 45-60 minutes once he was in surgery. I followed his progress through the stages on the board until it said he was in surgery, and over 3 hours later he was still showing as being in surgery. I waited and then walked over to ask if we could find out why it was running so much longer. She started saying the word NO. At least 6 times getting louder each time. That doesn't happen at Holston Valley. My friend sat and glared at the little old lady Ratchet until she had a security guy come keep an eye on us. I just wanted to know if my husband was ok but was looked at like I was a member of the Manson Family who spilled blood instead of coffee and wouldn't get down to clean spots in the room I hadn't even been near! The guys who brought my hubby back had him laughing which he said hurt but they talked with us and were kind and so were the floor nurses!

After a lovely 2 hour wait at this hospital, the ...

After a lovely 2 hour wait at this hospital, the nurses wouldn't stop cracking jokes and saying some of the most inappropriate things I've ever heard coming from any professional environment. I wish I could say I heard it coming from the break room, but no it was directly towards me. Nurse said some pretty racy things, and specified that when I put the gown on I'd need to take my "bra and panties" off too, like, yeah I'm a grown adult I know how hospital gowns work.

I tell them my medical history and let them know that I go downhill very quickly and hospitals often assume there's nothing wrong with me when in fact there is something severe wrong -- assuming this would push them towards doing some extensive testing given my extreme pain level. But no, they check my ears, nose, and throat and then send me home with a prescription that could kill me. I never actually got to see a doctor either, only a nurse practitioner.

Not only was I made to feel uncomfortable the entire time, but I'm still in pain with no diagnosis and there was a horrible stench in the room. When asking about it, another nurse started laughing and began to explain what just went down before I was in the room. Pretty disgusting that something smelling that badly wasn't properly disposed of, but you leave it in the room for sick (potentially nauseous) patients to be exposed to.

Please don't go here. I had completely forgotten my horrible experience with this place as a child, and my experience tonight was a grim reminder. Don't waste a load of money coming to this place to be teased, misdiagnosed, and revolted by whatever they're letting lurk in the trashcans. I've never been so uncomfortable in my life.

I absolutely hate this place. I honestly didnt want to go to the er in the first place because I couldnt afford it but after trying the urgent care and them telling me the er is my only option. That's where I ended up.
I thought I had an overian cyst rupture because I was in alot of pain, had a fever, and felt like throwing up. The nurse I had was absolutly amazing.he was very friendly and patient. He explained everything and answered all of my questions which is always nice considering I'm sorta in a panic. They tell me they think it might be my appendix and tell me the tests they r going to run. And hr passes they do a CT scan and blood work and figure out that my appendix is fine, and that's when Dr. Ben j. Kerny decides to come in with the good news. Comes in and informs me that there isn't anything wrong with my appendix and he prescribed me something for nausea and some medication for IBS ( Irritable bowel syndrome) (I dont have Ibs) so ofcourse I have a few questions. Like, well what wrong with me what am I supposed to do. To witch his answer is " if u continue to feel pain u can always come back to the er."..at this point I'm crying again cuz I cant afford to go to the er just ya know anytime. And I still dont have an answer as to what's wrong with me. So I tell him I cant do that. And his classy response is to roll his eyes and leave the room. Lucky the nurse came back and told me I did have cysts. More then one and gave me a list of doctors that I can go to.

Indian past death center do not put your life in their hands. before the whole surgery began they forgot to tell me what meds I could not take prior to surgery so they had to reschedule then when I get here they didn't know that I had to have labs because they didn't take blood work at my pre op because they had to reschedule then, when they take me back in, they say you'll be there about a 1/2 hour before you going for surgery two hours later they never put my labs in because I was quote rescheduled as a walk in and I was not important enough to have my labs ran so they refuse to do surgery befor my labs finally got to the surgery. The nures in the preop told me "the lsb said they were overwhelmed", its good I guess, I don't know I was asleep, as for bringing, meds over an hour nothing, I disconnect my heart rate monitor so the nurses at the nurse station would know that I am not connected. Could have been dying, nobody would have cared because until my husband had to go out to get somebody the heart rate monitor was going off the whole d*** time whatever you do, do not come Indian path for medical care.

Up date .... so after waiting over an hour for some pain meds and calling a 3rd time , the nurse comes in and says .... they never told me you asked.... then she asked me how I did on the pill pain meds .... I told her the pill does not work, can you just put it in the IV .... she replied ... sure .... and hands me a pill that does not work.... so 2 hours after I should have gotten my pain meds I still have nothing .... Indian Path Death Center ..... where they don't even have cookies....

Terrible. Don't waste your time . I got discharged without even seeing a doctor. I fell out of a moving car. They didn't clean me up . Finally after I got discharged... What a joke of a place and there was very few people there for me to wait 2hrs for the treatment I received and they charge differently then Holston Valley . The nurse were to busy talking and carrying on so loudly but yet have a announcement coming on over the speaker talking about quiet time! They rather talk to other staff then actually do there job give you a bunch of charges then actually do there job it's like here take these aspirin and go see someone else about your problem and in ending out the door weirdest thing ever said to me thank you for coming come back to see us wow just wow this hospital is wayyyy under managed and it's no wonder Houston valley is always more busy because you get better treatment there and they seem to be more understanding . With the way I was treated I will not go back even if I was dying I refuse to be treated like I was

This was truly the best hospital I hospital I have ever been in. The staff are amazing...They come into your room quite often just to see if you need anything. I couldn't believe the hospital food, it was delicious. Turkey with gravy, green beans and stuffing, along with a roll and peach cobbler. I couldn't believe it was hospital food. It actually tasted just like what I get from the chophouse..The nurses are so caring and helpful. Any time I needed to go to the bathroom they were there within minutes..The Dr was fantastic, very informative. He let me know every step of the way what was going on and why. If I ever need the hospital again, I will definitely go back to Indian Path..BEST HOSPITAL EVER!!!!!

We ve given these people chance after chance and have continued to be disappointed. The docs are all jaded and aloof. They barely listen and quickly judge. So much has been missed and dismissed by them. The docs are the major problem. About 50% of the nurses are great but the other 50% are atrocious. There is no middle ground. Don t come here expecting results or answers, you will not find them. You can be easily deceived. There is honestly so much that I can t even really begin to write it down without making it a huge novel.

Dec 2015 After being sick with an off/on cough for about 7 months, which my primary care nurse practitioner couldn't seem to figure out, I went to the ER at Wellmont - Hawkins County Memorial Hospital in Rogersville - they kept me for 2 days, labelled me as having COPD (which I don't) & sent me home with orders for oxygen & nebulizer (oxygen was delivered to hospital) with RX for antibiotics & steroids (same TX as primary care).
Once home, I seemed to get better, then it returned again!
Jan 2016 My daughters asked me to go to Indian Path, the ER took me in & evaluated me, gave me a breathing tx, blood work, IV antibiotics & admitted me - However while waiting (in ER) what seemed like forever, I had to listen to profanity, constant chitchat at the desk outside my 'doorway', I wasn't given any way to call for assistance, I hadn't eaten anything & was hungry/thirsty, it took quite awhile before they brought me anything! Finally I was taken to a room on the 4th floor. For the next 4 days they worked on trying to figure out what was wrong, but when they sent me home, they made sure that I had the nebulizer & again, RX for antibiotic & steroid (again) as well as some other meds which when I got to the Pharmacy they sent me to (Mountain State Pharmacy) I didn't have enough money to cover what my insurance wouldn't pay. The Pharmacist made some phone calls & came back to have me sign the receipt, handed me the bag & said it was taken care of! :)
Once home, I seemed to get better, then it returned again!
Feb 2016 This time I woke up with extreme respiratory difficulty - nothing was working! On top of that, I went into a panic attack & had to have an ambulance come get me! I had them take me to Indian Path again, this time on 5th floor, they kept me for 8 days (Dr. was ready to send me home on day 6 - hospital said NO) On day 7 they decided to try an inhaler I hadn't used before, it made an immediate difference!! I would recommend Indian Path Medical Center to anyone looking to get well & be treated completely. I haven't had to be admitted since.

Sitting in surgery waiting room while the volunteer sits at the desk coughing with her mask around her chin amidst this surge in cases of COVID. The receptionist at the front entrance was just leisurely chatting away on the phone with what was clearly her child/family member as I waited for help.

Nurses are fine, doctors are ok, and the staff/volunteers are subpar. Two stars because most people are friendly, but that doesn t compensate for blatant disregard of COVID requirements and procedures by staff/volunteers in a medical facility.

My the admission at 530 with was amazing in the out patient surgery!!!!! The nurses on the out patient follow was great. The transport was great. The out patient team was kind understanding as each person's situation is different, and lives paths have been different hard when the hardest was almost done bc if Indiana paths naive on the date of January 26th 2012, less than 12 hours giving me a blood infection, and the next morning then leading me through the day to holston valley a blood infectionfor my right hand all the way up my arm down my shoulder front and back and I was immediately taken back for surgery. After the third my proxy, my mother, had to sign for my right hand to be amputated to save my life and I went in just because something was weird inside the palm of my hand and I could not pick up my six-month-old daughterwhy my four-year-old just watched and help the best she could until I went to the hospital. And then that established a week's stay and multiple surgeries. And now I am still reaping the consequences from that very first what's wrong with my handI asked them to drop my blood culture it something is wrong as they said it looks normal iodine and it cleaned it and put a bandage on it. And everywhere I go I have to explain that to people., Whatever but this grammarbut explaining this as this mergers happening is definitely knew when no one wants to help me find and or get a referral to a rheumatoid doctor.
after I came out of my surgery there was a nurse I'm assuming she came in on her shift after 7 probably thinking I was asleep but however I was laying my hands were visible. I didn't see before until she spoke and I listened, my hands are visible and she spoke to the kind woman that was present during everything,............... amazing woman that fine the entry to operation sand Dr. Joy,........ stating that my central PICC line probably wasn't even necessary as she could tell my hands were extremely swollen, which was actually worse after the surgery than my entry into the hospital. And made a blank statement toward me that it wouldn't have had to be done that wayhad I basically chosen different routes in my life to where veins could be found and my hands were not look the way they were and very rare does essential PICC line go in for just an in-and-out surgery. And then I asked her her nameand I told Heather you don't know the story that this place almost killed me and this surgery is also to save my life I demanded her to get I cursed I never dof out of My bae that she was not there to understand and I'm not an explaining it to someone that has a pretty judgmental Stance taking a look at someone. yes she wasn't leaving she was trying to talk not even apologizeand after she left because I demanded to leave that they take me up to my room immediately and I ended up having to speak with the operational in and out surgicalmanager and she stated that that woman's actions needed and was not going to go without reprimand however the two girls that gave me a blood infection that almost killed me went without reprimand.

But at least my doctor just use their facilities the one I trusted was the one that was in the room with DR. Shaun WHITE he is the one that I would give twenty Stars

This post is in connection with Indian Path Medical Pediatrics. Yesterday my children were in to see Martha Parker for illness. Waiting a hour, I left the exam room for a moment to use the bathroom. As I came into the room the door was open, I said hello, and in the loudest voice possible she said, "These BOYS smell bad!". She then frowned at me turned around and continued to examine them. I told her my son stepped in dog feces but didn't realise it until we were already at the office. She questioned me about how long it had been since my boys had been to the dentist. In my opinion, it was none of her business when as she is not a dentist. When we left the office I was so mad I could feel my face burning. On top of everything else my she was told my son was allergic to everything but Zithromax. So what does she do? Prescribed Amoxicillin to him. Thanks, was worth the onslaught of her letting the whole doctor's office know our business! I will be taking my children from this office to another provider from here on out. I will also be leaving reviews for this pediatric office.

Nurses and doctors are very rude as well as inatte...

Nurses and doctors are very rude as well as inattentive. The nurse in triage made fun of me for dislocating my shoulder reaching under a couch. The x-ray did not show a dislocated shoulder, and Dr. Kerney was terrible; he kept telling me there was "no medical reason" for me to be in pain as I was sitting there wincing in terrible pain. My guess is he thought I was faking something to try and get drugs. He gave me a prescription for 800mg ibuprofen; I told him I have GI problems and my gastroenerolgist told me to avoid ibuprofen. He ignored me and pushed the prescription on me anyways. It was like he was laughing at me. I just want the pain to stop, I don't care how they do it. My shoulder may not actually be dislocated, but I still cant move my arm without terrible pain rendering me armless for now. I think I may have torn something. A DECENT, CARING doctor would have investigated further, but now I've got a big ER bill for a quack making fun of me and telling me to go home. I am going to an orthopedist for a 2nd opinion.

They gave my bf medication he told them he was all...

They gave my bf medication he told them he was allergic to. Then they sent him home without fixing anything. We saw Dr. Deborah Price. I called her and she was like, oh well just don't take the meds then, he should have known he was allergic (the med was under a different name!). She felt his arm and shoulder and couldn't tell it was out of place or that the muscle was damaged. We ended up going to another ER where they fixed his arm. The whole situation was ridiculous. Don't waste your time here.

I have no problem whatsoever with Indian Path Hosp...

I have no problem whatsoever with Indian Path Hospital. I wouldn't take my dog to Houston Valley. They are very nice and found what was wrong with me instead of pumping me with morphine and start asking crazy questions. I had a bad infection in my stomach and Holston valley didn't find it out . They were running people through there like cattle. Indian Path took the time. They found out that I had the infection in my stomach. I love Indian Path and go there and no where else. If you care for your family or Friends don't take them to Holston Valley.
