Went with my sister, paint job was very spotty. When asked to fix the paint job we got cussed at and told off. Threanted to sue if we put a bad review. Very unprofessional job and poor customer service!

Terrible terrible place.Asked for a certian color and without notice they powdercoated my parts a completely different and wrong color. Then add insult to injury they said it was me who directed them to do so..a complete LIE. The single worst experience with any shop EVER!!!!. No wonder they are a teeny tiny little shop. Also after reading their other reviews i should have listened to others before taking this chance... And the customer service is just horrific... Id say drive 200 miles out of your way before you even attempt to have these people touch your equipment.. Had to even get the police involved because of how terrible this was. One part of this crazy experience is the super successful highly paid receptionist with a degree implys that its the customers fault that they make mistakes. Quoting" this is the last time we do any personal work". So this implys they have had major issues with many other customers. Maybe ots time for a company to have a bit of self reflection and see that they are the cause of their poor customer reviews. The reason the police were called is because they demanded i pay for their screw up or i couldnt have my parts. Once i said id have to call the sherrif for a police report they said to just take the parts and leave. I would have however there we like 5 people in that office and it seemed if i did take my parts they would of called and reported theft... Thats the type of attitude and professionalism you will face if you venture to this dreadful buissness. It not fair that you can give only as low as 1 STAR it should go to negatives. Because they earned a solid -5 stars. Avoid at all costs and run for the hills

We have used Iowa Powdercraft multiple times over the past few years and they always do a great job! We have a welding/manufacturing business and have actually replaced some painting jobs with powdercoating because of the good quality. John and his employees are great people to work with!
I called Powdercraft on Thursday and asked if I could have my parts powder-coated by Tuesday. They promised me they would be done. We told them our situation, that we needed the parts by the following Tuesday. I called to check on Monday and no one returned my call. Tuesday (the day I needed them by) I called again and was told they hadn t even started them yet. When I told him that wasn t going to work he said well then come get them. I live 2 hours away from Clear Lake. I had to drop all of the work I was already doing to go get them. When I got there to go pick up the unpainted parts, the guy was on his phone and simply said load up by the road. Unprofessional liars is the two words I would use to describe this place. Don t bother unless you re comfortable with disappointment.
We went to this company too and we also had a bad experience. The receptionist was very rude and the price quoted to us turned out to be way higher when it was time to pay the bill. Very sneaky and underhanded. I would not recomend this company to anyone. And im sorry for all those who have also had a bad experience. Im just wondering how they stay in buissness.
They've always taken care of me in a timely fashion. I'll continue to use them for my needs!
