This Airport is in opinion, the best in the region. When I fly out of Reagan National, my flights are always on time, and getting to the gate 8s a breeze.

No problem with the airport I flew from or the airline itself. However, the moment I stepped off the plane I was bombarded with the most rude staff member. It's like they don't understand what customer services is! The only reason I use this airport is because how close it is to my family.
Confusing and old airport. They moved the rental shuttles to the third floor yet all the online references still say the first floor. . .shuttles are few and far between so we hooked it to parking garage A. Not fun in 100 degree weather
What an awful airport. Came in for a late transfer around 9pm so I don t expect restaurants to be open. But the fact there was nothing was awful. Not even a vending machine?! I just wanted a bottle of water!
The shuttle was interesting... Shuttle guy who was supposed to direct us seemed very disinterested in doing his job and was not clear with instructions. The airline person firmly told him to do his job so he would get off his butt literally and figuratively. Not a good sign.
I've been in more than 25 airports around the world and this one is THE WORST EVER!!!! Never again!!!! :@@@
Airport small but well organized. Very pretty landside area with large windows that give breath to the environment. The baggage claim area instead is a bit 'dated and quite disorganized. The location is very convenient, just minutes from the city center (much better than the Dulles). The landing is wonderful, the plane you have a picture-postcard view of the entire city
PVD has many more scanners. Non peak long security line
Interesting view of the Potomac river and you can see the capitol building.
This end of the airport where gate 35x is located is substantially different from the rest of the airport. It's always crowded with long lines in the bathrooms and food offerings. Some of the departure screens don't work and they are difficult to read when they're working.
Nice airport, but... who puts three different types of bus stops on the same sign! A smart move would be to just separate out the stops by 20' so that you don't have to take a tour of the economy lot
Great dining options to maximize your time while you wait for your flight! AND if you happen to be a Capital One card holder, there's an atm.
A smaller airport with limited flights but that is okay considering the area in which it is located in. The buildings a little bit old and the facilities a little bit dated as well but that is not such a bad thing as this place has a lot of history. Security line seems to be efficient most of the time when I am here in the architecture inside is amazing.
Gates B & C are pretty nice but gate A (Southwest) is old and run down. If you're traveling on Southwest eat before you arrive.
TSA PRE CHECK people were very rude and unhelpful. Waited for 15 minutes for person to check a bag back and forth through the scanner. Common sense says just push it through and have person open it. Not hold up the line. Zero care about social distancing. Mask is all they want to see.
Closest airport to the Capitol. Long security lines during busy times.
Military can get through security in about 2 secs at Reagan. Because of that and it's central location, I never go to BWI or Dulles.
Great experience, great facility and I enjoyed free as well as fast WiFi. Friendly and professional staff. It is a very busy yet easy to navigate through. If I were to choose which airport to use to Washington DC I will choose Reagan Airport any day.
Even though it's a regional Airport. Love the Classic terminal 1 look outside
I've never been through the airport at peak hours, but moving through these large terminals are quite easy because of the plentiful & accurate signs. I prefer to beat the sometimes horrendous traffic by taking the Metro. The online payment for Metro cards are very user friendly.
I've had too many flight delays from this airport. Still my choice over BWI or Dulles. Look through the window when landing. Nice view of DC.
No issues at all. Check in at TSA terminal was smooth. Plane arrived on time and every one had on their masks so no complaints!!
This is an international airport its really big and very beautiful
Convenient smaller airport closest location to downtown Washington DC. Many regional flights in/out of this location frequently to cities such as new York, etc.
Very accessible from the Blue/Yellow Metro lines. If you ride the metro first and last car will put you and your luggage near the escalator and ahead of the crowd. Bens Chili bowl inside changes the game while you wait to enplane or dine after deplane. Starbucks on 2nd Floor
There is an Asian lady who works at the Gate 35X. Third time I ve had to use this gate. She is extremely unhelpful and provides by far the worst customer service I ve ever had at an airport. By far.
This was my first time at this airport, and hopefully it was my last.
Crowded and chaotic, running the gauntlet to the Terminal A gates is an assault on the senses. Although there are various options for food, they are uniformly overpriced with poor quality and service, exploiting a captive market for all it is worth. At least security is efficient and the terminal provides complimentary wi-fi.
By far the best choice to fly in and out of DC. Flights are sometimes more expensive than BWI or Dulles, but the airport's ease of access from the city and less hectic environment far outweigh any potential cost savings. The main hall with its soaring ceilings is a pleasure to walk through.
Overall it is a small airport with nice architecture in the main hall. The food options are plentiful, the downside is you can't reach half of them. Each terminal has it's own security checkpoint and if your flight isn't in that specific terminal, you can't go there. I was in C and there if a Five Guy but in B. It would be nice if they changed that in the future.
Clean, maintained, staff is nice.
Never missed a flight. Traffic tho can be bad if not here during a rush.
Very cool airport. Easy to maneuver through. Love flying Southwest thru there
I really enjoyed flying in and out of dca!! Super convenient for Uber and lyft and the staff is great ! Tsa is good here
Nice airport with curbside checkin with no lines. Would recommend you fly an airline in terminal A as it is the nicer of the three terminals.
I flown out of here a few times. And every time it is the same. Maybe cause it is a small busy airport. But getting through security takes forever. Standing in one line. A guy comes over and just closed off the line. No explanation of why. Just stopped it. Then the people that was still in line had to figure out how to get to the other security line. With out another security agent saying you can come through here. Then after a few mins was OK people can come this way again. If was if the one doing the scanning just wanted a break from scanning people and bags. The staff seem to hate their jobs. And they always seem like you are bugging them if you have a question. Their are a few frendly ones. But finding them is like finding a needle in a haystack.
Excellent customer service, well trained TSA and extremely professional and helpful. Airport is modern and clean!
RR airport is beautiful and clean at some parts, and need some serious improvements on other. I often take flights from here to Chicago, got used to he bad sides as well as to the better ones.
The locals call "National". Terminal A is in desperate need of an upgrade but the main terminal is amazing. Great restaurants are coming, too.
Worst experience of my life. I had my flight cancelled twice in the same day and they expect me to pay $105 for a hotel? HOW DELUSIONAL CAN YOU BE?????? You really had to make me sleep in the airport? I hope you having extremely unsuccessful lives for that. I'm never forgiving you for that.
Horrible layout to get to rental cars ... busses not marked well. Add a lot of extra time to the process.
Plan on being 30 minutes late every time you land here. They make planes wait at least that long to unload every single time, whether it's due to a back up of planes or the jet way operator getting lost. Better off flying in to Dulles.
Very convenient airport. If you are flying in the US or are willing to transfer, go through National.
The southwest terminal is fine. I really wish they'd add some more seats to the restaurant area. It can be really hard to get service. The food there is fine.
I like the checkout system and ordering system. It's easy to get in and out of and is rarely too busy.
This airport has the RUDEST employees that I've ever encountered in my life. How do you work in Customer Service and have no soft/people skills?! The ONLY reason why I gave this review two stars, is because the young lady cashier at Smash Burger was so nice & sweet. Otherwise, this airport would receive a -7 stars review. (One for every rude employee that I unfortunately forced to interact with). I'm [NOT] sorry that you HATE your job. Get a new one!
Great fast in/out airport for a major city! Easy access by Metro from anywhere in Metro Area!!!
frustrating if you have to take the shuttle between gates in the American terminal
Cant say much.. due to pandemic everything was close... inbound area was closed due to constructions..but doors opened and people waited outside... someone finally told us we have to go back to departures....
A lot to improve on; the set up of the place, customer services and many more. Being from Minnesota the place felt a bit cramped and just weird. But it was nonetheless an amazing experience.
Easy to navigate and super convenient since it's connected to metro
Unfortunately, not much was open in terms of food. After getting through TSA, there was no where to grab bite.
A much older airport with nothing outstanding to report. The view is nice and depending on taste, the airplane hanger decor is kinda interesting
Old, seems like hasn't been renovated since the 90's, there are wasps everywhere outside of the buildings and flights outbound of this airport are always packed, location is the only good thing
This is a very compact airport which makes it easy and fast to get into and out of. I was running late for a plane and was able to sprint from the airport's Metro Station to the TSA check point in 10 minutes. It is clean and bright and and a short hop into downtown DC. I would highly recommend this over Dulles anytime. (I either take the Metro or a cab so can't speak to any hassles driving there or parking)
Their computer was down for the luggage, had to stand in line a lil longer
Nice place overall, TSA pre check was quick, seems clean. But won t give it a five-star rating because it is annoying to be asked for tips on your luggage intake outside even though it takes literally 15 feet to bring it inside to get it checked in. Also, I have never been in such a busy Delta lounge ever, literally packed, nowhere to sit and always line for food, because food counter is small and hallway near it is very narrow.
A convenient and efficient airport. Even with the construction making it a little harder to get in and out, there is good road access, subway and car service. The new terminal is large and even the original terminal one is not too crowded. The staff have always been pleasant and helpful. The security lines moves quickly as well.
Keep the faith, call it National Airport! Regardless of what you call it, this is the most incredible airport in the country. It's a total gem and joy, metro or cab to downtown DC in just minutes with no fuss. Love!
They have a Ben's Chili Bowl, 5 stars. The original location is the best, but this is sure to entertain your fellow passengers on the way out of town. Get a chili half smoke and some cheese fries.
Nice airport close to downtown...flown in many times...friendly staff..good food choices...clean...
Had no issues with service and plenty of options for food.
Most inefficient airport I've ever visited. Give yourself extra time both arriving and departing to be delayed by the bizarre layout throughout the inside, the slow TSA, and at curbside pick up and drop off areas as well as surrounding highways.
Terminals are a bit small but the laptop working stations are nice additions.
The only airport that gives you views of the Washington Monument, White House and Pentagon as you fly out of town! I love that the metro connects directly to the terminal, but Uber is the better choice if you have more than one bag. Security lines are typically shorter than any at Dulles or BWI, but I've waited almost an hour for a rental car on more than one occasion. Plenty of charging stations at the gates to get work done.
3.5 hour layover here. This airport sucks, walking back and forth with a beer, nowhere to sit at either of the bars. It's hot and crowded. People standing everywhere, I'll never fly through here again.
Good medium size airport for Washington DC with good facilities well located to centre of city
How can ya go wrong with a place that has a Five Guys and Chik fil a
Been there on my back business trip from Newyork. Another large airport.
