Of course ... my garage broke on a Saturday.
Well, at 8:00 pm I called around (24/7 Service) and a couple picked up and offered help but not before next week.
Matt Carr was the one saying "I'm busy but let me see how we can fix this somehow tomorrow"
Sunday at 3:30pm the garage springs were replaced and he even looked at my (unprofessionally done) wiring from my garage door opener. The price was right (they are all close range) but the best --- Matt Carr was a super nice, polite guy. A professional guy I would hire immediately if I would be in his industry.
Final note ... after he left, my 10-year old daughter and later on my wife said "What a nice guy !"
Matt ... you got my business going forward and I hope your boss reads this --- I will definitely recommend you.

Great service! From my panicked call yesterday to a very nice receptionist and service manager, to a friendly and helpful service technician James who came out an hour later to installation by Donnie and Josh, my experience was wonderful. Donnie and Josh even took the time to help me reprogram the outdoor keypad that hadn't worked in over a year! Very courteous and respectful customer service from start to finish. In less than 24 hours I have 2 new garage doors. I would definitely recommend Ameriserv to anyone.

Josh did a great job today 8/13/2018, switching the garage door opener from a chain drive motor to a belt drive motor . Now the garage door is a lot more quieter when opening and closing it. I'm a satisfied customer!!!

Needed repairs done to garage door after bottom bracket failed on one side and wire cable was frayed on the other side and door wouldn't close. Called RCS Garage Door since they replaced my door opener last summer and Josh came and got things swapped out and working pretty quickly. Highly recommended!

Came home from the gym this morning to find that my garage door opener was completely dead. I called RCS first thing, talked through a few options and then decided to move forward with one of their new garage door openers. Tim was my installer and came out within a couple hours of my initial call. He was thorough and experienced and overall did an excellent job! I'd recommend RCS to any of my neighbors.

Our Liftmaster had to be replaced and RCS had everything needed to replace it. No wait time, very professional and the service guy completed the project the same day.

I could not have had a better experience with RCS and Ryan in particular. After our garage door stopped working, I was recommended RCS from my friend/realtor. I was given other recommendations from other friends but am so glad I chose RCS. They were able to come out just hours after I called and I felt the price we were quoted was very responsible. Ryan was professional, courtesy, knowledgeable and all around just a nice guy (which goes a long way in my book). Unexpected home repairs are never fun so it s definitely nice to say you at least had a good experience. I d definitely recommend RCS.

As a builder I have used RCS for all new construction install services and have always had great service and experiences with RCS's team: Mike, Tammy, Brooke. My latest jobs were no exception 1) new construction install with Kevin and 2nd) repair service work on an older unit with Anthony Vanderpool. We received exceptional service from them both as they were punctual, polite, and very resourceful in meeting our needs and timelines. Thanks again RCS for excellent service!

Rodney was nice and helpful. He even came back to correct the gap between the door and the opening. Wish I could give 4.5 stars, the only negative is where the trim he added met the existing opening. I took care of it myself with some caulking and now it looks great.

Our garage door broke on Saturday and by Monday morning we had Matt C here repairing it and making it like new again. Matt was courteous, efficient and very knowledgeable, with no hard sells. He worked hard and quickly to get the job done, properly. I highly recommend Matt C and this company for all your garage door needs.

Our home was built by Pulte in Sun City 5.5 years ago. In Feb of 2015 RCS installed the garage door. The opener they used was so noisy that it could be heard throughout the entire home so I replaced it after 18 months. Now, I just had a spring break and when they were replaced it was discovered that RCS used two totally different length and gauge springs when they installed the door. The photo shown is the original springs. The top spring in the photo is a 22 inch spring and the bottom spring (the one that broke) is a 25 inch one. While one can determine the lift rating of two different springs and then order to get a matching set, I feel this was just a company using what was available knowing one of the springs would give out faster due to the difference in sizes.
Funny thing, their sticker on the door says "Right from the Start"
UPDATE!

While I was disappointed in the fact that the springs were different sizes after further research I find that 30% of the manufacturers and repair business do this to save on inventory. Nothing underhanded should be taken from this fact.

Note the Incredible response from Bob S. the owner of RCS garage doors. While I have already replaced my springs on my own, he offered to make me a satisfied customer by going above and beyond the call of customer service to make it "Right to the End"

Josh came out on Sunday after I was having garage issues.. he was so efficient and professional.. second time working with this company and I couldn t have been more satisfied!

Great experience. From beginning to end. Garage door wouldn't open on Saturday. Called AmeriServ early Monday morning and spoke with the owner, Bob. He was so pleasant and accommodating. Worked with my schedule and came at end of day to determine the problem. Ended up the motor had failed and couldn't be repaired. Bob and his employee installed a new opener and keypad. He reviewed how to operate system, its features, the remotes and how to troubleshoot. Lastly, he made sure I had his Company's name and number on the unit and wall switch so if there were any questions or problems, I could contact him immediately. I could not ask for better service. Definitely, would recommend using AmeriServ.

Had a fantastic experience with Donnie and Brandon! My garage door suddenly would no longer close and they were out within 30 minutes of my phone call. The problem was diagnosed extremely fast and fixed in no time!

Donnie installed a new garage door opener for me on 9/25/17. As I write this on 10/18/17 the opener and the door have been working great! The door is even quieter than before. I am pleased with the responsiveness and the quality of installation.
I am not pleased that I just noticed the T&C's on the back of my invoice that were not pointed out when I was asked to sign it. It says the tech has shown me how to adjust my safety sensor eyes & the up and down force of my operator. It also says that this invoice must be presented for warranty work & that I have received my warranty/repair sticker. None of this is true. The only sticker I received, I found stuck to my garage wall after Donnie left - I didn't appreciate that at all. Be sure to check your paperwork before the tech leaves.

The whole experience was excellent, from filling out a request for service on HomeAdvisor, getting the estimate which was very good, all the way to Bob & his crew installing a great garage door, cleaning up their work area. These guys were very professional & personable too. I would recommend them to everybody. Make sure to tell them DJ Captain Kirk sent you.

I have to admit that I had screwed up my garage door myself while attempting to replace the track wheels. I checked in with a few places, but RCS was the quickest to respond and was able to get someone onsite within 2 hours of my call. Chainsy Lee arrived and quickly assessed the damage, providing me with a repair quote. I requested to also have a full replacement quote. Both were very fair in my view, but I chose to have the repair done. Chainsy was friendly, knowledgeable and easy to work with. He was able to start on the repair immediately, and was done within two hours. I'm very happy with the work, and would highly recommend RCS to others!

Me and my husband had to have the motor replaced on our garage. RCS sent out Matthew Black to replace the motor he was very professional and really knowledgeable with walking us through our new system! Thank you Matt for your help.

I HIGHLY recommend AmeriServ. I called them on a Tuesday late afternoon after our garage door was badly damaged and I spoke with Nancy. She was very pleasant and was able to get me on the schedule the next day. Matt C. and Joe Hendrix came out, gave us a FREE estimate on a new garage door which by the way beat out their competitor's price. Rodney the service technician came out installed the garage door replaced the trimming in a timely fashion. Spoke with Jennifer made the payment with no hassle. We bought a Clopay garage door which worked well for several years. Had work done on it and it kept jumping the track. After using several different garage door companies each having a different reason for the door jumping the tracks I called Clopay. I was advised to call Tammy at RCS. I did and after explaining our situation she dispatched Donnie who was there in less than an hour. It did not take long for Donnie to diagnose the problem (something missed by the other techs) and make repairs. RSC is first class in response time and addressing the problem at a fair price. Well done.

We had two garage doors serviced - replaced motors, added nylon rollers, added an outdoor keypad etc by technician Matt C. All done with professionalism. We will be requesting Matt for the annual visit and recommending RCS to friends who may need comparable work.

Had some initial communication issues but the owner called us while out of town and got everything fixed that day.

Joe and Josh came out the next morning after our garage door fell on my wife's car. They identified the issue and repaired a piece that had bent. Thankful for their knowledge and service.

Had a garage door "emergency" on a Saturday. Made it out to our house in less than a hour. Josh did a great job!

I had new garage doors operators installed in December. The service man called to let me know he was on the way, arrived on time and quickly and efficiently changed one door operator and had working in about an hour (new LiftMaster 8550w). I then decided to change a second door operator a week later and it was installed and worked well. I just had a problem with one of the operators not closing properly because it was sensing an obstruction even though there was none. It turned out to be a loose wire on one of the sensors. Even though it was just beyond the 3 month warranty for labor the service man did not charge for the call. I saw some negative reviews of this company but I had not had any problems with them and they have responded quickly to my call (the next day) and service people are efficient and courteous.

Our technician Ryan did a great job. He was fast professional and on time. I have problematic garage doors and have now used 3 different companies in the last 2 or 3 years. This one definitely had the most trustworthy feel.

Justin arrived on time, reviewed my issues and identified solutions. He was very thorough and explained as he worked - I was curious about how things functioned. I'm happy with the service he provided.

Matt did an excellent job with the new motor installation on our home. He was timely, courteous, efficient, and skilled. Matt C did a great job of fixing a broken spring in our garage and he even helped fix some lingering issues with the opener since we purchased the home. He did not try to sell us anything and he was friendly and transparent about the entire process. Would use again without hesitation.

One of the springs on my garage door broke. I contacted AmeriServ wherein, they had a technician at my house within an hour. Josh and his assistant replaced both springs; they were both professional and friendly. I would rate these guys 5 stars again.

If you're looking for an experienced and honest people Josh & Joe are the guys. Extremely knowledgeable and professional, patient, and passionate about what they do. Very good prices and prompt service. If I could give them 10 stars I would.

Our garage door spring broke and my car was stuck inside. It was time to leave for school drop off/work and I called pretty upset. They were kind and calm, assured me they could get me out, and arrived at my house in less than 90 minutes. They replaced the spring and showed me how to maintain the new one, and charged a fair price. They were prompt and professional. I definitely recommend their service!

RCS is the only company we will call for our garage door needs. They are responsive, professional and always do a fantastic job. they don t try to sell you something you don t need, their prices are reasonable and they show up when they say they will.

I had an unfortunate accident yesterday morning. Let's just say car and garage door mayhem. I was extremely frustrated of course, because it was such an annoying mistake and damage to the garage door/car. I went on the web looking for service to repair the door. I contacted RCS and spoke to Donnie.

Donnie arrived to my home pretty fast, which was appreciated, being a Sunday and all. He was very polite, respectful and extremely awesome. i mean, the damage to the door was freaking bad, bad that i wished I could hit my head against the wall and wake up 6 months later. After Donnie was done with the door, I mean, wow, the door looked the same before the error.

The great part was after Donnie finished, he made a suggestion to quiet the noise of the garage door. He didn't pressure, nor bully, he was very nice about it and I gotta say - i appreciate people like this; who are honest and have Integrity. I took his advice and opted for the service, because he was spot on and I gotta say - i am happy with the change. My garage doesn't sound like Optimus Prime transforming anymore.

After my inspection - i noticed he kindly added grease in areas where i didn't have the damage, which shows he is a man who values his work.

Day 1 after the fix and the garage is working as good as ever.

So, i highly recommend. Hey, if you are like me, you hate having to spend money on avoidable things in life, but if you are in trouble like i was; Donnie does amazing work.

The spring on my garage door broke yesterday afternoon. I called RCS and they had a technician at my house within 2 hours. Josh was professional, knew what he was doing, and the door was fixed within about 45 minutes. Even though I needed immediate service the price was reasonable. I will use them again if my garage door needs service.

Mike was super helpful answering questions and giving us advice about two new double door garage doors. He was prompt, polite, and knowledgeable when he came out to measure. The installers did a great job and the doors look and operate perfectly! We will happily recommend RCS Garage Doors to our friends and family!

Anthony did a great job responding to the broken spring on my garage door. His advice was on target and the garage door was repaired within 24 hours, even with a non-standard door size/spring.

I called the first company that came up in a google search to fix a garage door and spoke withJD (Joe). JD was super friendly and helped me fix the small issue with my garage door right away. I really appreciate his help and will use RCS garage doors the next time I have a garage door issue. I HIGHLY recommend this company and their employees! I really can't say enough about them. I phoned in on a Sunday evening and fully expected to leave a voicemail and to have to call them back on Monday morning. To my surprise, Maleaka answered the phone and was such a delight in my time of distress. She was able to put me on the schedule for the next morning. Monday morning, I had the pleasure of speaking with Jennifer who was also most kind and let me know the guys were on their way. This company goes above and beyond in regards to communication and customer service. Backed into garage this morning when it wasn't quite up all the way and it wasn't a sight to see, for sure. Not the way to start a Monday or week for the matter but after reading some of the reviews I thought I'd give these guys a whirl instead of American Door or another flagship company that you are just a number to them. I called and got in contact with Alan and it was a breath of fresh air in terms of customer service. He was out within a couple hours and only took 30 min to fix my mangled garage door. Price was more than fair as well! Just need him to come out and fix the paint on my van next :)
