The worst hotel at all in all respects and the shouting of the security men and not taking me into the hotel until after two hours of calling in the hotel I do not recommend it
Have to say for the price we paid we were not impressed. Considering the current pandemic, the hotel was not very clean, not all guests were wearing masks and nothing was said about this. The staff were unprofessional at times, particularly reception staff. However the restaurant staff and food were lovely. We will not be staying here again, especially for the price, it should not be rated a 5 star hotel, in comparison to other 5 star hotels in the area it is no where near the same level. Having read through previous reviews I can see I am not the only one with the same concerns, however nothing has been done to rectify the issues, which tells me that these reviews are not being followed up on accordingly. We went to the intercontinental hotel for dinner last night to get out of the fairmont and that is a 5 star hotel! I would not have been so unhappy if I had not had to pay 5 star prices for a 3 star hotel! Very disappointed, will not be recommending.
Amazing location. Great service... spectacular view. Customer Service is positive right from the time you park your car.
Sara at the reception was very professional, friendly and paid attention to all our needs and queries.
Arjun (I hope I got the name right) with concierge services was very polite, extremely friendly and very knowledgeable about the hotels products and services.
The Room:- Very clean, well maintained, great facilities. The bathroom is a masterpiece, its amazingly huge, well laid out, had a very good vibe to it. Decent amenities were laid out in the bath.
The restaurant : Canvas Lunch offerings was quite limited.
Dinner:- We did manage to dine during Iftar and the meal offering was more than adequate. Food was delicious and the staff behind the bain maries were friendly and professional. Chef was around to gauge feedback from the customers.
The Gym I would rate the gym as fair, considering the size of it as it isn't as big in comparison to the likes of Le Meridien.
Overall the experience at Fairmont was exceptional... Great customer service. Keep the smiles on even in the blistering heat :).
Rooms are amazing and very clean. Housekeeping did a really good job in cleaning our room. Very nice towel art was placed upon my arrival. Lobby looks so stunning!!! Cant wait to come back very soon!!!
Nice and luxury hotel. Excellent service and premises, big room. Food (breakfast and dinner) was really greate (note that all drinks during the dinner must be paid separtely even if you have half board)!
Beach and one (smallest) pool are kids-friendly. Biggest pool is opend for adults only.
During weekends hotel was quite full as it is popular among local guests.
Amazing resort for the entire family that doesn't break the bank. The drive to the resort in Dibba is absolutely stunning. Great all-round service and friendly staff as well as All rooms have breath taking sea views with a balcony. Rooms and bathrooms are quite spacious accompanied by classical Arabian like interior design. 3 Pools, gym, 2 restaurants and a private beach are just some of the amenities that the resort offers. A 50km drive to Fujairah City is a drive unlike any other. A tunnel taking you through a mountain is a Beautiful site along with mountain scenery through small towns along the coast is unforgettable.
The worst branch in the Fairmont hotel chain ,, a nursery for children ,, sounds very loud in the corridors ,, the insulation is bad There are no chairs on the balcony, you and your luck, the lighting in the hall is very weak ,, the number of pieces of furniture, especially the sofa, is inconsistent with the hall area, the standard of a 3-star hotel Even towels are not available near the sea or the swimming pool, and the outdoor tables have printed cups
A family-friendly beachside oasis of calm on the Gulf of Oman, well worth the easy and scenic 2-hour drive from Dubai. Come for nearby diving, or just to get away to a place that still has the feel of the Spice Trade days, yet with all the comforts of today. Book in an opportunity for a terrific seafood dinner at the Copper Lobster restaurant -- reservations are recommended, as it's doing brisk business even now during Covid times. The Terrace Suite rooms are a splurge, yet great for families with children who need to get their energy out, or anyone looking forward to panoramic views and a little healthy isolation. Enjoy!
The hotel is amazing. It offers a wide range of restaurants and the food quality throughout is superb. I would like to highlight the breakfast which is great, but as well the food and drinks service around the pools, which are absolutely top and as expected from a 5-Star Hotel. Prices are fair and the service teams are very friendly and engaging.
Fairmont Beach Resort was very nice, clean and staff were extremely helpful with everything. The Lava beach club was excellent and the staff are very nice and help you with anything you need. You can enjoy the beach activities just opposite the pool and enjoy the great swim up bar. There is an adults only pool as well as a kids area. Restaurant had different themed nights so was great to try all of the Arabic food one night and the other night to enjoy foods from around the world. Rooms were clean and spacious and has everything you d need. Recommended.
I liked the hotel very much, excellent service and food, not only in a very decent lobster seafood restaurant, but even in a buffet, which is not always the case. I especially liked yoga classes with a real teacher from India, Ravshan, as well as other sports classes with trainer Fritz. The prices for massage in the spa are almost like in Switzerland, which seems to me not quite adequate for the UAE, although the quality of the massage is good. And one more thing - annoying loud DJ music by the pool annoyed, and the singer during dinner, all this should be several orders of magnitude quieter or absent altogether.
Beautiful place. The food in Copper Lobster is absolutely delicious. In Lava restaurant the food is nice except of pizzas. They have another huge pool for kids. (Try the all inclusive available in their website)
Absolutely so far my favorite place to unwind locally in UAE, far from crowd with quality facilities, good dining experience for a family, rooms are well designed and maintained. Some people may not like it if they are looking for something different, this is peaceful place to relax far from the city in a bit of luxury
Very modern hotel, clean rooms, great view form the balcony. I'm impressed as the room is spacious, clean bathroom and spacious. Bed and pillows are comfortable. Fresh scent in lobby. Huge pools which we really loved! Great hotel to stay for relaxation
We ve been to other Fairmont and Accor Hotels I'm a big fan of Fairmont hotels, however, our experience at Fairmont was rather disappointing.
We drove from Dubai which is around 1.5 to 2 hours drive and the least you expect from a renowned hotel as Fairmont is impeccable service standards.
I have to admit the suites are beautiful, it was clean and very the bed is very comfy. The view from our suite was beautiful and the only issue we had with the room was the phone service. The phone rang multiple times at random hours, whenever I picked up the phone there was no service, the only phones working properly were the ones in the bathrooms. This continued throughout our stay, when I finally got to talk to someone on the phone they thought they were calling a different room number, they apologized but this happened again later on.
When I ordered our breakfast, the operator insisted I was not telling them the correct room number because in their system they had this phone number registered under a different name and different room number, so all of this was confusing and irritating. At check in they have informed us there is a Vegan Breakfast Option, however, when I was ordering breakfast they said otherwise.
I took the continental breakfast and specifically asked for almond milk for my coffee, the coffee arrived indeed with almond milk, however they sent me cow s milk for my cereal which was for me not a nice surprised because if someone asked you for a vegan option, they ask for almond milk in the coffee I don t see why there was no common sense and served the whole breakfast accordingly? It was just really tiring to try to call back to reception and order almond milk for the cereal and so I had to go trough the phone issue again a couple of times, them asking if this request was for a different suite number because their comms systems was stating something else.
Don't offer a vegan breakfast option when there s none. I wouldn t have had to go trough all of this.
We spent some time at the pool, we have ordered some drinks and lunch, again, the only vegan option I found on the menu was a Quinoa salad, it was delicious I must say, but there was hardly any quinoa on it and the salad portion was as big as my hand palms.
Still at this point we re still happy we re here and the pool views are beautiful, wasn t really busy and when we finished eating, no-one came to take care of the dirty dishes, I slept on the sun-bed with the dishes next to me for at least 2 hours, until some of the dressing ended up all over my legs and it woke me up. Like I said the place wasn t busy so I wasn t happy with the poor service attention we got at the pool.
The waiter only came to use later on with to ask us to sign for the bill and I had to ask him to take care of the dirty dishes because, nobody cared to come around to check if everything was fine or if we wanted anything else.
We went to Canvas Restaurant for dinner, the restaurant is beautiful and it has a really nice view, most of the architecture looks fairly new and chic. The service here was very friendly but a bit disorganized.
Dinner however was one of the most disappointing dinners I ve had. The bread basket was totally cold and hard to the point it wasn t pleasant to chew. The waiter was friendly but the appetizers arrived to the table way before our bottle of wine.
I had Hummus and Spring Rolls as appetizer, honestly and I do hope this will serve positively for the hotel, the hummus was from a Can, do we really want to pay a Fairmont price for canned hummus in UAE? I don t think so, even low profile restaurants in the country make their own hummus. The Spring Roll definitely came from a frozen bag.
The rest of our dinner was Just Fine but the money we spent at Canvas was not worth a single dirham.
I would definitely not drive again all the way to Fujairah or at least not to Fairmont unfortunately. I am sure we could have got a better experience in any hotel in Dubai without the hustle of driving all the way to Fujairah.
Never stayed in this hotel & Never Will. I have booked the hotel 2 weeks in advance and less than 24 hours before arriving the hotel has decided to cancel our stay due to overbooking, when called no clear explanation was given or valid reason, just incompentent booking management. As they say first impressions count the most, and you Fairmont have outdone yourself. Ruined weekend and anniversary. 0 stars...if only I could give them to you personally!
Great room, beautiful design of the hotel in guestroom and public areas. Black and white is perfect in lobby. Love the pool and beach, cleanliness of our room and were surprise for lovely flower towel art made for us. Big balconies and bathrooms is spacious. Nice place to relax
We had a great family stay in this beautiful resort .Most if not all things are great about this resort but what is most appreciable is the courtesy the hotel staff extend to the customers. Very polite, humble and responsive staff. True reflection of how a 5 star facility staff should be. Surprisingly and Unfortunately you don t find this basic trait of compassion in a few resorts in that belt particularly Fujairah Rotana. Upgrading the rooms as a token of courtesy, making the guests feel special on birthdays .. I have seen it all in this resort. Keep it up guys ! Lot to learn for others around !!
Canvas restaurant. Arabic theme night buffet. Food was good quality and drinks were properly chilled and served. Service was good and waiters were friendly and helpful. No complaints. I would return.
This hotel having one employee in the customer service his name ( Islam ) he is Arabic... He is one of the worst and baddest customer service representative that I have ever seen ... His attitude so bad and he is makes you feel that you re going there free of charge and he is keeping interrupting while the conversation and his way of the talk makes you feel like he is the owner of this hotel and he don t like you ........ !!!!!
Run away! The beach is frankly ugly, the dinner- Indian buffet really not refined. Bad. You take the half board and you are not told that the buffet edt i dien.Quant to breakfast, industrial pancakes and juice from the same source. Not even fresh juice.
You don't feel you are in a resort! It's just a normal building which has access to the beach. You can stay in the Intercontinental for the same amount of money!
great hotel, clean facilities, fresh and clean guestrooms. Staff will greet you with a smile, interaction is so natural! The washroom outside by the pool it needs air condition.
perfect location for a getaway from the city. very clean property, fresh lobby, amazing rooms and awesome beach club. check out Arena Sports Bar for some biliardo
Rest exceeded expectations! I want to say thanks and wish well-being and all the best to all hotel staff for the hospitality and comfort that we have been provided here.
very welcoming place, from the staff to the events and outlets. clean balcony with a very great view, spacious room and nice art designs all over the hotel. i liked the the decorations done on my bed, they were so beautiful
Been here twice for the restaurants- loved them both. The interior design is stunning, I love the book desks and the wall of lamps. It's given me inspiration for decor at home. The two restaurants we went to were the poolside bar and Lava (I think, sorry if I got it wrong!) but my favourite was definitely the poolside bar. The person at the helm (a Mustafa, with an Arab accent) was absolutely DELIGHTFUL. Took the time to show me what I was looking at when he saw me observing the gorgeous view. Fantastic customer service! Even the security guard at the entrance was lovely! Very very pleased with our experience.
