If you would asked me 45 days ago I would of said a wonderful experience. Since then financing fell through instead of being notified by the company a recovery team called me. Then I found out from bank they never sent contract over. Sucks... I bought a car from Tom Wood..

Atmosphere was busy, bright and loud. The Show Room was rather small and congested. One could hear everyone's conversation. No privacy. Sales desk were extremely close together. I felt rushed and the sales personnel were mechanical. I felt like I was on an assembly line. Just another number. The test drive was short and sweet.

I was/am very dissatisfied with this company. Not only did they sell me a 2014 Optima that I've had to service 7 times in the last 10 months but their customer service in the Service department is ridiculous. Jay was NOT helpful at helping me get my brakes looked at for the second time since I've owned the car. He was very condescending as if I knew nothing about cars. I've already had to get a new engine and steering column because of Ray Skillman not inspecting the car before I purchased it. Now I'm stuck with a car that has problems every other month and a car payment for a car I dont want.

My check engine light had came on but by the time I arrived for my appointment it was off. The service department staff was very attentive and listened to my concerns. Jason always does an excellent job with explaining all that is wrong and what needs to happen for the repairs to be completed properly. As a woman some places try to take advantage of your "lack of knowledge". I never felt that way in service at Ray Skillman. Thank you for your quick, professional service. Awesome job service team!

Beware purchasing waranties from them. It costs $110 to even tell you if it will be covered under your warranty. If it is then you don't pay. If it's not? Well your paying the repair + diagnostic. They also don't give you the 15 pages that come with it that tell you they don't really cover anything that normally breaks. So much for "luxury" "Ultimate" coverage. I dealt with Jay, not my first run in with him.

Made a 12000 dollar purchase on fri to rebuild my credit and the car started acting up saturday somebody put the wrong oil in the car i took it back to ray skillman buick they changed the oil however now the vehicle is running horribly, ive been in constant contact with finance who seems as if there trying to assist in helping me get another car however this matter has prolonged for over a week. Ive sent 3 people to buy cars here and i will never suggest anyone go to ray skillman again.....make sure to have your car checked professionally before you buy

I was always greeted when I arrived. David and JT worked with me to get the vehicle and the financing I wanted. The waiting area was very nice and my young children were entertained while I was finishing up paperwork. I will definitely recommend them to my friends and family!

Please do not waist your time at this place if u have bad credit and not willing to pay 1500 or more down on any of their cars... first thing they do is run your credit and luore you into coming for an appointment.. Then all of a sudden every vehicle your intrested in isn t available so I m being lied too and time waisted .. even if I do have more to put down I will not trust them or deal with ever again .. very disappointed had 1000$ down too ..

After filing a chapter seven bankruptcy, I had received many "opportunities" to go and get a vehicle of my choosing. However, the vehicle of my choosing and the way I was treated at multiple dealerships was unbelievable. I decided to go to Ray Skillmam North East Buick GMC to try my luck there. The dealership itself is one of a kind, but the staff couldn't be better. I walked up to the dealership and was greeted by David Schimmel as he opened the door for me. I had no idea what car I wanted, except for it to be an SUV. I was just desperate to get in a vehicle and get to work. David expressed his understanding of my situation and assured me, we would get a vehicle that I liked, and what I wanted even with the bankruptcy in my case. We went to his desk and he asked me a few questions, but it wasn't about cars! He asked me more about my hobbies, what I do for a living etc. After a few minutes of talking, David pulled up a red 2017 Jeep Patriot with less than 10,000 miles on it. I immediately fell in love with the vehicle, as it had everything I wanted and more., Somehow he found what I wanted without me having to think about it. After the test drive, he personally went to work with the finance team, and didn't leave their desk until he could find a loan that wouldn't break the bank and ensure a trust worthy bank to give me the loan. David came back with a Josh Falcon and had me approved for the Jeep, all in a days time. I signed the paperwork, but it wasn't over after that. David then took my Jeep to get detailed again before I left the dealership, put the temporary plates on, AND turned on the heat so the Jeep would be ready to roll when I went out in to the cold weather. After leaving the lot in my brand new Jeep, I felt comfortable that I had made the right move going to Ray Skillman North East Buick GMC.

Gary and his team (Samantha Pollyea & Dillon Ruggles) are, in a word, awesome. The positive, friendly, professional manner in which they treated my wife and me, last Friday (August 23), is a bloom from the flower that Gary planted nearly 3 years ago when I first met him and bought my Terrain. This time, I came to buy one particular vehicle for my wife but came home with two - after trading in the Terrain and a Kia Optima I bought from Skillman in '08...great deals!

Gary's philosophy is not to sell you what HE wants you to buy but what YOU want to buy/drive (a sentiment shared by both Samantha and Dillon).

I have purchased 9 vehicles over the last eight years or so - ALL from Skillman (from Greenwood to Indy); I will not go anywhere else. In fact, as long as he's there, I will personally deal with Gary!

Very slow rude and I will get my car service someplace else next time
Refuse to bring it back here. The gentleman that help me was very very rude.aybe he should seek a new job. Because his customer service was out the window. He was very Nasty. I'm sorry that we have purchased 2 cars from them and get treated like this. Very sad

I have to say Ray Skillman is the most professional and courteous car dealership I have ever dealt with! I am very grateful to have chosen them to do business with! Ray Skillman has not only provided me with the best car service for my vehicle, But the staff makes it even more worthwhile, they are extremely sweet and caring and any question you may have or concern they will take the time to explain and help by any means possible! I have had so much trouble in the past with other dealerships that I was so worried to try it again.. However, Ray Skillman has changed my mind completely and I am very satisfied that I can count on them through anything, I can now have a fresh of breath air while driving my vehicle knowing I m in great hands! thanks Ray Skillman! I highly highly recommend anyone to come and share the same experience!

He didn't take in loops like some of these other car dealers have done, and worked with me and my family in making sure my choice of vehicle will benefit my future. Bought a car. Find out next day it is already sold...

Bought a car. Find out next day it is already sold. Find another car that is comparable but had extra safety features so that upped the payment a bit. We were not notified of this until we were signing papers. The first car we bought included the rubber floor mats. 2nd one did not. We were not told this either. So sales guy and ourselves had to come out of pocket for floor mats. Finally get the car, it has to go in to get DVD player installed. Get car home. Wrong DVD players and the wires exposed. Call to get that fixed. Get an apology for the poor work and lots of promises how quick this would be taken care of and returned same day. It was not. Next day service guy says floormats are in. Car is detailed and they are bringing back. Drive it out here. No floor mats, car is dirty....didn't care about the dirty car it was just the point we were told the car would be detailed and have the floor mats and neither were true. The wires from the DVD player still exposed but we are done. We will not be back to this location. Ever. We live in westfield and the amount of extra miles that were racked up on my brand new car in the first 2 weeks I had it was uncalled for. After the car was bought and we had to pick it up we were not treated great. Once the issues with service started my husband was even hung up on by a receptionist

This was my first car purchase in over 12 years. I had been on the hunt for 3 long exhausting days, when my husband and I stopped at Ray Skillman. We were both brain dead on the 4th day of the hunt. Along came Anthony, I thought another day goes by, no car. AJ stuck to us like glue. He truly made my afternoon enjoyable, informative, and I went home with a new car. All of our questions were answered not only by AJ but all the others on the sales floor. AJ has continued to be around, after the sale to answer my questions. My husband and I would recommend this dealership to everyone, and I have.

Both my mother and my uncle bought their vehicles here. My uncle still owns his. A 2012 Nissan Frontier Truck. And my mother bought her 2015 Buick Encore. But she traded it for a 2014 Chevy Silverado. However, the employees are very "Dedicated" to say the least. Meaning, from the moment you pull into the parking lot, they are on top of you like mosquitos.

We purchased a very nice vehicle for my daughter here(used). Turns out they didnt have the right paperwork and took longer to acquire such to provide the necessary documents to register/plate the vehicle. The temp plate expired and they would not provide another temp plate in the meantime. This is problematic when predatory tow companies hunt for this in neighborhoods. The vehicle also did not have fresh fluids and the tires had poor seals requiring remounts a few days after purchases, no big deal just watch for these things especially when buying used.
Overall happy with the vehicle...but a few details were missed.

In 2017, I went to the buy here, pay here section of Ray Skillman Northeast. I was lied to about the car I had purchased (A 2008 Nissan Sentra with 136,000 miles). I was told that the car was a 2012 Nissan Sentra (sticker of 2012 in the car). After the purchase, my mother and I checked the VIN number and found out that it was actually a 2008 Nissan Sentra. Currently, I pay $175 a week ($350 a month) for a car that continues to depreciate. By the time, I pay this car off which is in 2020. The car would be depreciated to less than $500. Every time I try to pay the car at one of their dealerships (he has more one), I have to call this place and ask for the buyout amount. The amount is ridiculous to still higher than the depreciation of the car itself. Also, the engine light came on three months after my purchase after the manager at that time (2017) indicated the car had everything replaced. People beware of the buy here, pay here section and sure to check the VIN of the car you are purchasing.

This is the second vehicle I have purchased from Jim Schofield. He has always been very friendly and upfront with the me and my family. I am in sales and really appreciate his professionalism. I would highly recommend visiting the buy here pay here at Ray Skillman Northeast, They do report to credit and mine rose over 100 points from my first purchase. Kevin Barton the manager there is also top notch!!! Kathy was always willing to help out as well. I am sorry I do not know her name but the daytime secretary has always been friendly also. So Thanks for all of your hard work.

I have a used 06 Buick Lucerne with 150,000+ miles...

I have a used 06 Buick Lucerne with 150,000+ miles on it. She's like a war wagon but I love her. She does have a few things wrong with her but she runs most of the time and she's all I got. I broke down last week (water pump tensioner and pulley burnt out) in Pepboys parking lot. When I asked them how much to fix it, they said with me having the V8 Northstar engine I was looking at around $900 just to start. Said they had to take a engine mount off and said the labor was gonna be crazy. Then, after he spoke with his tech in the back, they refused to work on it at all. So here I was panicking about how I'm going to get back and forth to work and if Pepboys won't work on it then who am I gonna get to help me. Ray Skillman was literally right around the corner so I took it there. When I pulled my 10 yr old, dirty (it had snowed recently and I had not washed her yet) car up to the service department I was EMBARRASSED! I was surrounded by all these new and beautiful Buicks in my old, dirty car. All that changed once I spoke to Jay and Jim. They acted like I had just brought in a new car. They treated me no different than the guy with the brand new car in front of me. Within hours Jim called and said that my quote was $540! Way cheaper than Pepboys and they acted like a Northstar engine was no big deal (compared with the big fuss Pepboys made). When it was done and I came to pick it and I told him I was sorry I brought my old dirty war wagon up there and he looked at me like I was crazy. He told me not to be sorry and to bring it back if I ever needed more work done to it that they were happy to help. They really made me feel like I was on the same level, if that makes sense.

I highly recommend the service department for sure! These guys rock! Jim and Jay are great.

I am extremely happy with the service I received at Ray Skillman Northeast GMC. I had 2 blowouts due to a chuckhole on I-65 north of Seymour, IN. I had my Yukon towed to them on a Sunday night and by Monday evening I received a call that all was good and my Yukon was ready for me to pick up.

I have a 2017 Buick Enclave Premium with less than...

I have a 2017 Buick Enclave Premium with less than 36,000 miles on it. My check engine light came on and my remote start stopped working, so at 8:59 AM on a Wednesday, I scheduled an online appointment for the following Saturday at 8:20 AM. I received a confirmation text immediately upon scheduling. The day before my appointment, Friday, at 8:35 AM, I received another text reminding me of my appointment. The next day, I arrived on time for my appointment, only to have the service department tell me (1) we don t actually have appointments on Saturday; (2) even if we did, we don t have a tech here that can do a diagnostic; (3) you could leave it here if you d like but there are 15 people ahead of you, so it will be Monday before we could look at it. When I voiced my displeasure, I was told the computer did it. Here s the kicker...THEY NEVER EVEN BOTHERED TO TAKE MY NAME OR CHECK THE APPOINTMENT SYSTEM. It was just you can leave it until Monday, or you can just leave. They didn t offer a loaner. They didn t do a damned thing to try to address the problem! All they did was blame the IT department. They actually said we can t help the computer. REALLY?!! Everyone knows that dealer service departments are where dealerships really make money. So you re telling me that as massive as Ray Skillman Auto Group is, they can t afford to fix the computer. Needless to say I was cursing by the time I left, and I m not the least bit sorry for it!!

wouldn't let us go on the lot to look at cars . told them what I could afford and still went over my budget. on the way home with the new used vehicle the engine light came on. we spent over 6 hours there. that was on a Friday had to go back Monday, was there at 8 a.m. and didn't get my car back until around 10:45.. then was going to Wisconsin on Friday the same week and engine light came on again. I called them on my way and he said come in when I got back from Wisconsin. so got back on Monday had to go to dr. on Tuesday so I headed there on Wednesday got there at 7:15 a.m. they said the ones that work on cars would be in at 8 a.m. I said I would go to the waiting area I was there until 10:30 a.m. and Jason come and told me it was going to be a few more hours. I waited until 12:15 p.m. and then got up and looked for David the one that sold the car to me and he said he would go find out what was taking so long. I had not ate anything I told him and then he came and told me that they would give me a car to use until mine was done, I went and got something to eat. Drove to my daughter-in-law and then it was around 3:30 that they called me and said the car was done. It was a very long day and I didnt bring my medicine so waiting that long was not good for me. I also found out they didnt clean out the car when I first got the car. There is animal hair on front and back seats and in the very back panel for trunk area and i also seen under the mats were dirty and under back seats and didnt wash in sides of windows they only put in new mats and gave me a free car wash card to take it to Crew car wash. I believe I need to be compensated for my time and troubles I live over 50 miles one way there and 50 back so that was over 200 miles of unwanted miles on my car and on my time.

I just bought a 2016 Dodge ram 1500 from the east Washington street location. I do not recommend it. The truck was dirty (they gave me a car wash ticket), the battery was complete trash had to be jump started, (they did nothing to fix the situation) the tailgate was damaged to the point that it wouldn't even open. When I discovered it, it was too late and I was home with the truck. When I enquired about having it fixed they referred me to "pick a part"
For a vehicle I gave over $23,000 for.... I don't want a pick a part referral. Don't even get me started on their loan process, they don't even try to get you a good loan offer, they take the first HIGH INTEREST loan they can locate.
I won't be returning for another vehicle here but they aren't interested in you returning, they want your money now and to hell with you later.

Kathy Pancake went out of her way one Saturday to get the car that I was interested in from another Ray Skillman dealer that same day that I called her. She is not pushy, but highly competent in explaining the process that I could expect if I wanted to purchase that vehicle. She assisted me in the trade in of our vehicle. She is very friendly too. I have bought 3 cars from Kathy Pancake over the last 2 years and have had a great experience every time. My husband was too busy to go with me this last time, but I felt confident that Kathy would help me get the best deal possible.

I was forwarded to this company because of my warranty, but I guess depending on who u are they contact back. I spent over a week calling to get an appointment with Mr.Jay. I had to drive there to get an appointment. Then when I did leave my vehicle from 7amm to 5 pm and they found nothing wrong with it, but my front headlight still goes in and out.... I just pray I never get a ticket or loss my life over a head light with the way the world is set up now.
