Stayed here night before we flew to Florida, so the positives...the hotel is close to the airport. We ate at the restaurant and it was good with great service. The breakfast was very good too. All the staff we came across were absolutely lovely especially the bar staff. The room was spacious, we had bunk beds so was great for the child and young adult we were travelling with and bathroom was lovely with lots of complimentary toiletries.

Room service menu was overpriced. Room was lovely and beds amazing. Aircon smelt like puke?? Very clean and hygienic bathroom and bedroom. Amazing decor. If you need more tea and coffee they send you to the reception...really? Overall it's ok due to amazing appearance and cleanliness but lasped service, smelly air con and high food cost.

Voluntarily not again

Room was ok, but the restaurant bad. Breakfast: fruits not fresh or dried and otherwise rather unloving. When ordering the dinner, the service did not even know what beer they have. Overall service is not good and there is no shuttle service / bus from Gatwick either.

Fantastic large clean rooms and lovely Hotel, all of the staff were friendly and nothing was too much trouble.
Reason for the 3 star rating is unfortunately the food completely let it down.

Felt completely ripped off.

Paid for breakfast for both mornings of our stay but after the first morning, couldn't face eating it on the second so paid again to go elsewhere.
Cold tinned mushrooms, quarter of tomato, 1 piece of bacon, one sausage and a crispy dry fried egg was enough for me once, and does not constitute a full English breakfast.

Hotel made up for it and had the food been on par with the Hotel itself would have been a 5 star rating.

Air Conditioning barely works in the rooms, and appears to have been that way for years. Looks like a nice place when you arrive, but the rooms are VERY HOT and it never gets better. Avoid like the plague in the summer time. I read a review that was 4 years old which said the same thing, and i ignored it. shame on me. otherwise, its clean and modern and close to the airport. Restaurant and common areas are cool and nice, but the AC in the rooms blows hot air around the clock. When i complained to the front desk, they gave us two tabletop oscillating fans to take to our room. I heard other guests complaining as well, so i think it is a hotel-wide issue.

I enjoyed our stay. It was before a trip abroad with Purple Parking included. The room was large and clean, the staff helpful and the food in the restaurant was good - not the cheapest but the portions were decent. Purple Parking was about a ten minute drive away.

Very easy to find, parking onsite too. Comfortable, well appointed rooms with the little touches that make a visit special. The gym is very, very small but the pool was refreshing after a long day.

I can not recommend the hotel.

I can not recommend the hotel.
I was here 2 weeks.
Everywhere you realize that the hotel has its best times already behind.
Defects everywhere: elevator, shower, TV remote control etc.
The air conditioning in the room is so loud that you can hardly sleep through.
The daily cleaning was very sloppy.
The pinnacle of the poor service was that no room service appeared at all on one day. At first I was appeased at the front desk that the service had a lot to do and comes a little later. 2 hours later it was said that the service staff would already have time.

A good, reasonably priced place to stay in London Gatwick. Pool was closed during our stay and room temperature was a bit difficult to regulate, also had spotty internet connection issues. Rooms were clean and beds were comfortable. Hotel has an onsite restaurant and separate bar with decent food and drinks. Family rooms available.

Staff very friendly. Room is a very good size. Plenty of space to work and relax including a sofa and work desk. Food menu offers a small but nice choice. Rooms are quiet Will use again in the future

The hotel was handy to stay in before using Gatwick airport. The room was clean, and the bed as comfortable, because of my early start there was no food available, but there was tea and coffee in the room.

After a long drive we wanted to get our heads down early so order room service. After trying to ring down twice no one answered, then we went to the bar to order and were told there would be a 20 minute wait.

After 40 minutes of waiting we called down again to be told that our food was only just being cooked. Another 20 minutes passed and still nothing.

We only ordered two sandwiches, which when they finally arrived were very tasty which is why I have given them two stars rather than one.

Had a room for myself and my wife and two kids, every night at around 11 a family would check into the room next door; our room had a door to this room (a closed door obviously) and it was horrendous, noisy and I wouldn't recommend it to anyone. - Breakfast was okish although very on the lower end.

The room service was good on the other hand.

Very clean and tidy. The staff are very helpful. My only concerns would be there is very little support for disabled people and the security is not good. They had all the customers private information on top of a counter for everyone to read.

After the terrible experience of our Easyjet flight been cancelled, it was so nice to arrive at the hotel and be greeted by the warm, friendly and professional staff. Room was very comfortable and the amenities were good. I would recommend staying here if I was flying Gatwick again.

Seems that management doesn t care about the facilities of the hotel. The main thing that a traveler would want is to get a comfortable and restful stay at a highly rated hotel. However, when we entered our room, the air conditioner was only spewing out non-cold air on a very hot and humid summer night. The room had a desktop fan in the closet, a giveaway clue that air conditioning is an ongoing issue. I called the front desk and they weren t answering, to the point that the line got cut off and remained dead. (Intentional perhaps so that they would not be bothered?). So I got on my cellphone and called the hotel s main line to request for them to fix the aircon. After a while there was a knock at the door. I thought it was someone who would fix the issue but I was only handed ANOTHER DESKTOP FAN!

Also, the bathroom drain just came off when I took a shower and the room telephone still did not work.

The BASIC FACILITIES of the hotel need better maintenance and there should be someone on call 24/7 to address basic issues like NO AIRCONDITIONING and not just handout table fans to the guests.

I was at the hotel for several more hours and I was not in the mood to elevate my blood pressure or feel angry. I did not have a comfortable sleep and it felt muggy. Good luck to the next set of visitors. I hope everyone would write an honest review and file a complaint. Fill up the guest comments. I did.

We stayed here the night before getting a plant to Mexico. The hotel was great. We also had a good breakfast in the morning. There was a nice and quiet but small pool aswell. This is a great place to stay of you need a place to stay before getting a long flight. Also it gives you a place to park your car

I gotta say this feels like a hopping US hotel. However loud it seems in the lobby doesn't carry to the rooms. Feel terrible I was there when the water got shut off till 2AM. Receptionist said was the first time in 14 years working there...I was frustrated however showered in the morning instead of at night and was satisfactory. Must take an uber to get to hotel, is not close enough to airport as some websites suggest

When calling to make a reservation the person answering was quite blunt simply stating we are busy call back later. We left it until the following day, same person answered same blunt response, call back later we are busy. We said we had been told that the previous day, he then reluctantly checked for availability. He asked for a name my partner had made the call so she gave her name spelling it out for him. He asked for her to spell it again, he still didn't seem to understand, we gave up completing the booking and went else where. Disappointed really, looks a nice place but cannot abide poor bedside manner.

The room is fine. Got given a refund for my meal last night as it came 15 minutes after my family which was three people. At 11pm I was just about to fall asleep when the room started to leak from the room above. It was coming down quick. They then made us move rooms. It was freezing in the room. The heater didn't work. Phoned for another one when that one didn't work but the second did. Had barely any sleep. I have a 12 hour flight to go on now. Miserable. AVOID!!

They are geared up for people to spend the night there and then leave their car parked on site (whilst they are away on holiday) and depending on the package you choose when you book, they will also book your taxi to and from the airport too

Great Hotel

Great Hotel
We stay here every time we fly out of Gatwick and have never been disappointed. The rooms are spacious and comfortable and all the staff are very friendly. We do a park and fly deal which really works well for us.

A colleague and I stayed for 2 nights this week to deliver a training nearby. The hotel was pleasant in some respects but air con noisy and not possible to open windows so airless and stuffy. My main complaint and reason for a low rating is that one of our delegates was treated appallingly by the reception staff on her arrival late at night after delayed trains (x4) from the other end of the country. Having phoned ahead to check availability she arrived late at night to be told she couldn't check in without a passport ID (we were not asked to provide ID of any form). The man on reception was rude and aggressive refusing to offer any support, options or compassion. In fact, he called her a taxi (she hadn't asked for) when she didn't have anywhere to go and tried to bully her into getting in when she hadn't yet organised an alternative. This was a young woman, in an unfamiliar place, late at night. I am outraged by this behaviour and do not recommend people to stay here.
