Awesome place for fun but few rides were not working because those still depend on the flow of the air. ( wind gusts). They should do something about this, probably some boundary walls etc.

What a great experience for kids and adults alike! Very clean, great friendly staff at every attraction and the maintenance crew clearly do a very thorough job as rides felt incredibly safe. No litter anywhere!!! Highly recommend Rainbows End as a fun day out. We will be back again soon! Thanks Team

Great park and an amazing place to spend the day with friends, the rides are a good length making so that you are on for long enough to enjoy yourself but also making it so that you don't have to wait in line too long and the staff always make sure everyone is safe.

Was over charged full adult price for our 7 year old boy. We decided to go on a quiet weekday but arrived to find some blue light event where bus loads of kids were turning up and paying half price. We (three of us) went on the log flume twice and the mine cart once, which took a total of five hours queue time. Lots of kids pushing in line. Can't believe rainbows end tricked me into paying them $180 to waste my life standing in queues for half a day. Even my enthusiastic 7 year old gave up and said i just want to go home now. I gave feedback afterwards to their website contacts but they simply ignored me. I will never go back. The theme/water parks on the Gold Coast are much better.

A fun place to bring the family for the day. There are plenty of rides for all ages.

Be warned, get there when it first opens and go on as many rides as you can early. By midday, you'll spend ages waiting in lines.

The food options are really bad so I recommend bringing your own.

There are stage performances running through the day also if you need a break from the rides.

They have just recently banned bringing your own food in, pretty rude! I saw one family get turned away with their birthday cake, how stingey is that, not impressed with the staff either most of them don't seem like they wanna be there. I understand they are struggling because of covid though..

Had such a great experience with rainbows end. The environment of the place was so environmentally friendly. The staff were quite kind through out the entire facility. The wait for the rides was about 10 minutes or so, which is not that bad. The price was $59 for an adult whereas spectators was $18 because they said its the holidays. The price can be quite expensive but definitely worth it imagine unlimited rides all day. Theres a number of different rides the would fit everyone in the family. Rainbows end, a place to relieve stress and have fun. Rainbows end does not only offer rides but theres a place for arcades games, festival games, live shows, cosplayers, food and many more. We just had an amazing time in ayckland and one of the memorable and best things we've done was to go here. Definitely coming back again and hopefully soon.

Definitely improved over the years with more rides. Still had the old favourites but now has the addition of some new ones. Can easily spend the whole day here so although not cheap is good value for money.

Great day out with the children. Or if u r keen on thrills and stomach churning rides go for it. Go early on a Sunday when good folk are at Church. Last day of school holidays. Perfect. Take a book if you are spectators. Highly recommended at least once a year.

Having wanted to visit for awhile we got a taxi to the park. There were no queues at the entrance so that was good. As we went on a week day the park was on a timetable which became a little annoying. Rides were good however the park does need a bit of an overhaul for the price you paid. Was looking forward to going on the log fluke however it was closed for maintenance which wasn't mentioned on their website.

The only amusement park in NZ... Prices are upto almost $70 for the day.. as there is nothing to compare in NZ it is relatively high cost to the amount of rides on offer. They have now a VR room... Which to my understanding will cost on top of your entry. So with food etc is a $120 a day trip to Rainbows end

Pretty good experience overall, but most of the rides exert high G forces on your body and may make you feel unwell after several rides.

The "Kids Kingdom" area for small children was cold, overcrowded had too many exits and the height restrictions for the supposed kids rides are higher than for a lot of the larger rides in he main park, like the log flume and driver's town.

A tad expensive but WELL worth it. Can chew your wallet up in the kids holidays but the kids loved it. Awesome food , Awesome entertainment. The kingdom is a perfect place for kids & birthdays.

We went on a Thursday so that there were less people. It was great timing. We got to ride on all the rides we wanted, with very little waiting and we got to ride lots of times.
We sure got our money's worth. We should have gone on the Wednesday when it would have been cheaper but we didn't realize. Still, as I said, we got to do all the rides and got our money's worth.
I would recommend going on a weekday when it's overcast so it's not to hot :)

Expensive if you are only planning a short visit, but took the kids for their birthday. We ended up staying for even odd hours, so that took the sting out of it. Limited adult rides and sometimes long queues but the kids had a great time.

A word of warning, the main park will be wasted on kids under 120cm tall.

Hadn't been to Rainbows End in years. Took my 8 year old son for a birthday treat with some friends and they had a blast. Clean, well presented with plenty of rides for younger children. Quite expensive so wouldn't go too often but I definitely recommend for a fun family day out. Sad that some of the rides were closed for maintenance, but I guess that happens. We will be back again.

First of all this is not the biggest theme park in the world. I would recommend looking for a deal where it would be cheaper. Check groupon etc lots of 2 for 1 deals floating around.

It s a smallish park with a few good rides. The rollercoaster is in desperate need of refurbishment and the park is clean.

Good points ...
Clean
Easy to navigate
Close to town

Bad points
Expensive for the size of the park
The rollercoaster
It s not a big park. Around 3 hours tops

A lot of fun with the kids (and adults). Spent the whole day there and got very lucky with no queues and all rides open - week days run on a schedule usually. Not sure if this is a tip but we went on a Friday before labour day weekend so was a school day so no real queing and perhaps all rides open to gear up for long weekend

Fun!

Rainbows end has always been a family favourite, and this trip was no different.

They have fun down to a science, with thrilling but safe rides, and cheerful staff always willing to help.

For kids there are rides, including an AA Driving school area where they can drive go carts around simulated streets / roundabouts / traffic lights. It's extremely fun and educational for them. Daily live entertainment is also a great way to keep the Littles grinning from ear to ear.

From arcades, to thrill rides, hot dogs and ice cream parlors, music and sights, Rainbows end is a great day out you don't want to miss!
