My wife works for this company worst one to work for they never have anything together and always a small paycheck for how much she's suppose to get payed and how much she works when you try to talk to them they tell you it's not up for questions. . find somewhere else's to work or to put a love one through their company!!
My pregnant wife works for this company and this by far is the most unprofessional and rudest staff I have EVER came across! They have been giving us the run around for the last 3-4 weeks for her W2 Form.. They will hang up in your face and talk to you any kind of way most definitely if you let them.. I would not wish this company on anyone rather your a nurse or a patient! I have some many complaints that I can type a small book on how terrible they operate! But don't take my word for it, read the countless other bad reviews! The ONLY person that I can say was helpful in at least attempting resolving problems is the supervisor Max.. If you have to speak with anybody else of color besides him regarding any type of problem you have they will literally bring out the worst in a person to scoop their level!
They are terrible so far. I have 3 visits a week due to a dressing change. My first nurse I got didnt know what she was doing. She gave my cut a yeast infection because she did not clean my wound right. Now I am having problems getting a nurse to come out and see me when I havent been seen for 3 days. Im in pain because my wound has an old dressing and it desperately needs to be changed
I was a patient at Star, I loved my therapist and nurse, they were very helpful in the office. Thank you Star home health.
This place has a bunch of pathetic liars. I have had nothing but trouble out of this place everytime reevaluation came around. I will be telling my PCP to drop them as a client.
I've had several home health agencies and i though Star did the best job with communication and care. I recommend their services to anyone who has had surgery or has been in the hospital.
My grandma receive great services at this home health care.
if You re a nurse looking for employment run away!! Shady place of business. Never about the patients only the money. Will use you & lie to you! Does not appreciate good employees will have you jeopardize your license for the extra dollar.
Waste of time. Ive done the entire application and the manager was suppose to get back with me cause she could tell i was ready to work whole time ive been getting nothing but attitudes and runarounds
Nurses were unprofessional and unprepare. Visits were not honored, Mary Jo is rude and keep calling me babe. She also told me to change agency since I was not happy that they only showed up for two of nine visits. I'm with a new agency now
The Texas Workforce Commission made Star pay me the money they owed me for working there. They fined Star for withholding pay. If your a nurse looking for employment, don t waste your time trying to work with this company. They have the worst worth ethics of any company I have ever been involved with. They will lie and tell you anything to get you to go see their patients and then you will not get paid. They have poor patient care. The patients will go weeks without being seen and then they ll want to recent them for no skilled reason except to try and get money out of their insurance and not provide the services they are suppose to. But worst than that they exploit honest nurses to do their bidding and then leave you withou money to feed your family.
I was not able to mae only 1/2 a star. I fired this company because the nurse I had signed my signature on a verification document. I was supposed to get a visit on 5/4/17. The nurse did not come because of a family emergency. I called management to get another another nurse. Found out 5/9/17 wjen i called to find out when the new nurse would come. I was told they had til friday to schedule an appt. I said well they didn't come last week. They told me I recieved a visit on thurs I had to prove I hadn't been seen. An email was sent to show me my signature was forged. WHY WOULD I CALL ON FRIDAY IF I'D BEEN SEEN. THEY WERE FIRED TODAY 5 9/17!!!
I was hired here and was let go after only being there for 3 days it wasn't even my fault I was a good employee it supposed to be 90 days before they decide to keep u or not they didn't allow that long for me and they require the employees to participate in a prayer circle boss asked me if I was a Christian and if I went to church I didn't have a problem with answering the question because I am Christian but that had nothing to do with me working there and I'm pretty sure this is illegal to require participation in a prayer circle. DO NOT WORK HERE!!!!!
STAR HOME HEALTH CARE IS AN AWFUL COMPANY AND THE OWNER TINA WHO IS ALSO ADMINISTRATOR IS VERY RUDE AND NASTY. SHE TALK TO HER EMPLOYEES IN A VERY DEMEANING MANNER AND THEN HAVE THE NERVE TO WANT TO PRAY WITH YOU. SHE DOES NOT CARE ABOUT ANYTHING OR ANYBODY EXCEPT THE MIGHTY DOLLAR BUT TRY TO PRETEND LIKE SHE IS NOT MONEY HUNGRY. SHE EVEN MAKES HER CHILDREN WORK AT STAR EVEN AGAINST THEIR WISHES BECAUSE IT IS A HOLY MESS!!! THERE ARE NOT ENOUGH PEOPLE IN THE OFFICE TO ACCOMODATE THE NUMBER OF PATIENTS & TINA JUST DON'T CARE. PATIENT CARE IS NOT A TOP PRIORITY BECAUSE CLIENT'S ARE NOT STAFFED OUT IN A TIMELY MANNER.
