My 2 little boys (1&4 year olds) enjoyed themselves in the kids area. Having the indoor area is really good especially during cold days. The food is abit pricey though for what you end up getting but it was still a fun day out for our family.

Not worth going Unless you've never ever been to an amusement Park before. Save money, travel, and when you're in that different country go to their amusement park. You can explore all of rainbows end within a few hours and you'll be bored cuz you've seen it all. A kid might love it tho. Don't go unless you got a kid.

If Disneyland is the happiest place on earth then Rainbows End must be a close second !
Every time my family and I attend here all the staff have smiles on their faces and are so friendly and helpful - even the man cleaning the loos had a big smile on his face ! My kids are so happy when we go to Rainbows End and we easily spend 5-6 hours here . There are a good variety of rides for young and old alike . As well as a good assortment of eating places and a cool playground area for the young ones, they also have some stage shows like dancing etc . While we were walking around a manager stopped and showed my young son and I some really cool magic tricks - my son was delighted . This is a fun place to come and spend a fun filled day and it is wonderful to see a place where all the employees are actually smiling and happy !

I went there alone in mid-week, no long queue clear time table. It's small but also good for solo adventures. And I met a lovely dad and teenage daughter, we played the roller coaster together and a couple of others.

Love rainbows end especially on this day we went. It was a Friday and it was a school day so the place was pretty much empty and had it all to ourselves. Not much food places open but luckily we had packed our own lunch.

Kids always enjoy their time at Rainbows End. Food is over priced though and you can no longer take food into the park. They advise you that there are picnic tables to use at the front entrance though.

Many attractions of different levels, attention to opening hours from 10 to 17h, it closes early !! And it takes 3 hours to be able to do a minimum of activities. Possibility to spend the day because there is not much waiting. Possibility of eating on site at reasonable price or to bring your meal.

While the rides went smoothly enough and waiting time was fine, it was school holidays, I was not happy with the side shows. We had our grand daughter with us and she wanted to fish up a duck. While I was told 1 game 1 prize I thought there would be a prize equivalent to the points she won. The duck had a variety of points underneath. Our duck had 100 points under it but there was no prize for 100 points just for 50 or 150 or more. Our grand daughter had to have a prize for 50 points. If they are going to have values of 100 points there must be an equivalent prize. Not happy with this. For our $5 we now have a very small container or slime!!!!!!!!!!!

We had a really good time. I hadn't been for about ten years and didn't have great memories of the place. This time it was full, and the facilities have been notably improved.
Some of the rides haven't changed, some are new, they are mostly exciting. The food is much better and is verging on good. It is not cheap, though it is also not a blatant rip-off.
Entry fee was reasonable.
The one downside was that it shut on the dot of 5pm. It's best to get there early to get around all the rides.
Take water on a hot day.

Was a great trip and some good ride however the motion master is closed down when we went and some other rides which was disappointing as the mention master is my favorite. Over all a great day out with family visiting NZ for the first time
