Had a blast here with my children. Costs are out of this world to be truthful for alot of the rides thrilling rides were shut other than that i think the kids kingdom was amazing.definately a hit with children. I guess if you can afford to pay a weeks rent for 5 people GO FOR IT! Have a blast. Cheers

Great range of rides. Wait time for a lot of rides is way too long but not much can be done when it's a busy day. Food prices are ok but the pizza price is way too high. Great to see spots to fill up water bottles/drink from.

As New Zealand's largest theme park, it is fully equipped to cater for all ages, from little ones wanting a car ride to adrenaline junkies looking for 18 stories drop or 360 degree rotations up in the air! There's also some amazing performances by the resident illusionist. One word, fun!

It's a bit too overpriced for what it is but it is really really fun. If you want it not to be so expensive look at the grab one website because every so often they do some really good deals for Rainbows End. So I recommend keeping a lookout. Overall Rainbows End is a really awesome place to go.

It s a great place to have fun with kids. I think it should be less expensive when you go with family.

There is another important thing I ve noticed last night event is that there are no toilet facilities outside the booking counter especially when you host late night events. Luckily my niece saved by one of their staff member. Bottom line great expensive place with nice staff.

Positive: Kidz kingdom at rainbows end hasnt changed over the year but still the kids seemed to have a good time which is great.

Negative: the reason for the low rating is because of the prices and customer service!
Many of the workers manning the rides didnt look like they wanted to be there and looked either angry or bored. This is at the start of the day!
Then at around 3pm yes it has quietened down but also some staff were gone too therefore how can you go on a ride if no one is there?
It felt like the kids were getting kicked off the ride because the staff wanted to be somewhere else or the park was closing. Which i was told it gets ready to close at 355pm.
So why make us feel like ur closing or not let the kids stay on the ride if no one is waiting in line?
I know it can be a big day for workers but i feel they need to up their game and be better with people! Some staff were amazing and did their jobs well though.
Also the prices are steep enough you should be able to go on any ride until closing time!
And paying a spectator fee is stupid. The price alone for 1 child to come in is allot of money then more money just to spectate is wrong.
Taking off the spectator cost or bringing prices down would be awesome!

My family and I visit Rainbows End a few times a year have had a birthday party there where they were very helpful. The day was awesome the park had rides for the babies, adults and also for grandparents so my family had a awesome day filled with good food of cause, endless joy and laughter and being here to celebrate, share my grand daughter's day so thank-you

Fun for the whole family, staff are wonderful and friendly too. Was a shame that some rides with a long wait time were too short (namely the roller coaster, it took longer to make sure all was safe than the actual ride )

One thing that I'd love the staff to take note of is managing people. There were lots of school holiday programme groups there, but they were not supervised properly and run a muck. Pushing in, pushing when in lines, generally rude. There needed to be staff who's job it is to police behaviors between rides and in line's.

Well it's grown since I was there last and has a lot more to offer. A little crowded when I went with a school group as there were at least 2 others there, so less rides than I'd liked to have done. Their rides were operated on a rotating schedule, probably due to staffing issues, so not all were available and this meant lines for the popular rides. If you were unfortunate enough to arrive late to line up, you could have missed a ride. The longest wait we had was on the first run of the day of the Stratosphere. We stood in line while they did a full empty run through as required for safety audits. Would have been nicer to not have lost that time with the crowds when we were on a limited day trip. Still, it was a good day out. My favorite ride is still the Log Flume, even 20+ years after I last went there.

My family had an awesome and just loved it. However my daughter was a little disappointed because she was a little short haha bloody height restrictions lol.
When I was younger many many yrs ago I always thought rainbows end was soo big and awesome, like a fairy tale and now that I'm older I'm thinking what was I on hahaha. The park does look a little run down and I think needs a bit of a clean up and some things replaced but overall it was a good and fun experience with my family.
The major issue I had would be the number of people pushing in lines and the staff members just watching them, it's really annoying because sometime you could be waiting in line for ages and I think it's really rude when 1 person will be in line and the other members of their party would go buy something to eat and thn walk and jump in line which by thn is close to the start. There were signs posted up stating not to push in line but staff did nothing when people didn't listen

My parents and I went with 3 kids - aged 6, 4 and 1. I wasnt sure what to expect but we had a great time! we were there from 11am -5pm and didnt want to leave. The kids kingdom is fantastic for the kids - all the rides are close together so no walking and there were no queues! we went on Friday Jan 11th during school holidays and the kids never had to wait more then 1 ride to get on. Most of the time they just went round and round doing the same ride 3 times in a row!

Cool

AWESOME!
