Always fun for the family , Abit over priced but the kids love it

We went for a day out with our 5 year old to spend with her friends. The cost for admission is quite high considering the rides that she could go on. We had to purchase spectator passes as adults which I thought was a bit rich. Cost $100 for 2 adults and 1 child for the kids kingdom and flume ride. The kids kingdom was height restricted even though it was for up to 8 years old. Limited rides which her friend also 5 was told he was too tall to ride. The flume ride was good, long queue so not sure how you get unlimited rides out of your pass. The stipulation with food at the park is you cannot bring your own in. Whilst in the Kids kingdom area we saw this enforced as one family was told off for bringing KFC in. We decided to order hot chips for the kids from within this area, however after a 20 minute wait, it wasn't ready. People who ordered after us got theirs. One person who ordered nachos saw them spill and reheat the food. Bad service within that area, best to go find food elsewhere in the park and bring it back if you secured a table.

Value for money I think not. Service from that food stall..I give a 0. In saying that, the service from other areas was increasingly better.

This is a place you visit once in a blue moon, and not worry about what you spent just for that brief moment.

Rip off prices. Good 4 others maybe.. Just not 4 me.

A must do if you are with family or friends. Great thrilling rides and good food. Great staff. Strongly recommended.

I just find the staff look bored, and why is there not better music, balloons for sale, more made of the theme? Also, it's expensive. Agree with another commenter, needs to shut later. The rides all shut down fifteen minutes before closing, and the entry fee is getting out of hand. Upgrade the video arcade and the cafe. Take a leaf out of the Gold Coast parks, make it all really professional. Overall though, it's well worth a visit, midweek is best. I just think there is potential for an even better park.

Was a over cast day but still filled with fun with the children

Great fun for the kids, but oh my God are they digging deep into your wallet! Price to get in isn't bad considering you can ride everything, but the other side games are a rip off .. $5 per game to knock over tins and win a prize?!? Arcade games are all $2 a go ... my bank manager sent an ambulance over to make sure I was ok after that weekend!

As worldly theme parks go this is average. However for New Zealand this is the best theme park in the country. There are a number of thrill rides and over the years a few more have been added. I have always gone during the work week outside of school holidays and there have never been any wait for rides so go at this time if you can.

Always a fun,exciting & awesome place to go All the rides are enjoyable good place to wear the kids out as well as yourself if your keen enough to jump on board the rides including those daunting ones I'll give this place more then 5 st*rs if I could excellent staff excellent place..will definitely go back there...

Great fun. Good for younger kids. Some rides are great for older kids and young at heart!

Not many rides seemed to be working, long waits for mediocre rides. A lot of the rides haven't changed for years. Food is overpriced for really bad meals. The stage show is appaulingly bad. It really wasn't fun for such an overpriced experience and there wasn't much to do

This is the next Movie World but in NZ lots of fun rides for all ages even toddlers!

Thrilling! Wish we had more time to do all the rides. But will definitely be going back there.

The staff are really friendly and helpful (most of them), it really adds to the experience and makes it a lot more enjoyable.

I'm from Wellington and coming to this place is great every summer. It's an all day activity.

They closed all of the main attactions and wouldnt even give us a refund

Loads of rides for the little ones to go on. Not to expensive

Facilities could do with an update but still a great day to spend with kids on school holidays.

We went on a quiet day which was great. The park operates rides on a schedule, presumably to reduce the amount of staff there doing nothing.

The rides however were pretty low quality. Even the rollercoaster you see in the adverts was fun but very jerky and rough feeling.

Good for a one off family outing . but bit on the pricey side and very busy on the school breaks.

One of the good happening places , worth of money and time just make sure be there as earliest to utilise the time and complete all the rides.

Its sad I am 180 high and I had to be 150 high to enter the cars and then this person said your too short and then he said leave now your too short

Awesome place for the kids and parents. Lots of fun rides .

Good for kids especially free cup of tea or coffee for parents. Not too busy during August which is a bonus; though always cold (bring a jacket).

Expensive! But very nice for a birthday, perfect for kids or adults.

Dated amusement park. Ripoff. Food options generic and no vegan options. Long lines..really not worth it

Cannot chose to go only on one attraction. I only wanted to go on rollercoaster with my daughter but there was no such option, so we did not go at all...

Avoid going over the weekend especially at the time of school holidays, otherwise you will end up queuing for half an hour for each activity.

Go early or on weekdays. Lines start getting busy by 11:30am or so. Also some rides are often on maintenance and unavailable. Good for kids, but no comparison to overseas theme parks sadly.
