Place was so good Mixture of Wisconsin Dells water parks , We really enjoyed the Day but that would be more wonderful if they offer Muslim and Kosher Meals inside or May be becAuse of Religious diet they should allow families to bring their own food may be with extra charge but they should OR may be they should have some Zabihah Halal options inside so all kind of families would enjoy parks with option of their Food otherwise overall very Nice Place , Very Clean Family Place and nice Staff .
We always go here every year great for a family outing
Don't come here. half of the park is shutdown. they also say the wave pool is open, although no waves.. open swim only. last year, tickets were $20. Now it's $34 with half the rides offline. They also charge for parking now. Apparently all of this is advertised on their site in fine print at the very bottom. Something they didnt do before. Alot of unhappy families at the guest center. How I know this place is no good? When I approached a manager, the first thing he said ' no refunds' as if he heard this story a dozen times that same morning. They also have their employees post 5star reviews to overshadow the customers. If you sift through the recent reviews, you'll find a pattern of the same complaints and the truth.
Sunburn was SO worth the great fun we had on the Lazy River, Wave Pool and Slides! Music was terrific, I love Contemporary Christian music. Can't wait for the summer just so we can go back!
It was a great experience and their staff and customer service was excellent
Had a blast. Lots of walking, didn't realize that. They even have picnic benches for you to eat in the parking lot. So you can buy food in the park, eat in the parking lot, or drive off to eat and come back. Will come back again. Love the lazy river.
There is a ton to do here. The two big downsides though is that there is a lot of walking on hot concrete (bring water shoes). Second there are a lot of people and the lines for some of the rides can take a very long time. Unfortunately some of the shorter lines such as the Plunge share stairs with Cyclone and it takes forever to get people to realize there are two lines even though it keeps saying it over the speaker.
Super clean, everybody there was very nice. I know it's Illinois largest Waterpark but it seems like everything was a little spread out and there is a lot of walking from one ride to the other. The only thing I was not a fan of is the drink options are strictly Pepsi very few if any choices for healthy beverage options.
There are a lot of water slides and a wave pool and lazy river also. You can rent a tube to float in and a locker to put your stuff in for the day.
The water park is very clean and not dirty at ALL, which i was surprised about. They had much better food options to than most amusement parks. The wave pool was so big and very wavy. Also the lines were short
Worst experience...no control on timings and delays but ticket prices remain same ...poorly managed no information...purchased locker rental online but at park had to go multiple guest kiosk without proper information and that too at last park associate telling all lockers sold out and then again had to stand in queue for so long to get refund still convenience fee applied are not yet refunded
Pathetic service
Nice clean water park. Parking, paying and ride can be a bit cumbersome however. Also went on a super hot Saturday. Don t let me deter you. Arrive early.
Been here several times before. It's a nice, clean park. However, the prices are now ridiculous. It's evident they are taking advantage of the fact that other water parks are closed. Not coming back.
There s absolutely no masks and no social distancing enforced . I m WARNING EVERYONE BE CAREFUL!!! They don t care who gets sick they just want money.
This place is awesome, just prepare yourself for a lot of people and long lines. Only downside is u can't bring in your own food but u can bring a lunch and go out to picnic at your car and then come back in.
Great place but go early. Good clientele, nothing like the problems you would see in Chicago or the ones by Great America. Bathrooms are weird though. Place is for kids but most of the urinals are for adults and too high. Weird thing is there is no private place for boys to change in the bathroom, just an open room with benches. So the boys are forced to wait in line for the bathroom stalls to change. Gross right? The Christian music needs to go too, can be offensive to some.
I agree with some of the reviews. We had an ok time. Half of the park was closed, the only thing that was open were slides and it got pretty tiring walking up all those stairs. As far as food, definitely overpriced, whatever you do DO NOT order the chicken tenders. I would recommend the walking taco or bringing a cooler to eat sandwiches in the car. I also think that this park is mainly for bigger kids just because you can let them run wild. Overall, it was alright, I dont think we will visit again.
Had a good time. Things to do for all ages, but over 4ft gets access to all the rides. Needs more adult body slides, but it's the best in the area.
Love this water park, clean and has a ton of good slides
Super nice and fun, only thing don't let bring you food inside...
Clean, and food was not bad, but overall not a great value for the money. Would have been nice to have an ordinary pool.
I loved it when I went there with my mom, dad, and sister. It has great food, nice staff, fun place to go
Very clean, not too overcrowded. Kids pools are excellent. Some rides have very long lines, others don't. Food is very expensive and junk. They don't let you bring your so be prepared.
Overall 5 stars. At least come once a year!
The Day Me and my Family went we were there 30 minutes and they shut down the park but Customer service was excellent was given replacement tickets to return at my leisure along with additional passes as well
Fun family day, Very clean and employees are super kind and helpful. If you have food allergies may want to pack a cooler for the car. Cannot bring food in but can come out to car for picnic.
Awesome place to beat the heat in the summer. Its full of fun things to do. just don't eat ice cream before going on Wonambi, tho.
Met the owners one time. What nice people! Park is great.
Not worth it. Be more family friendly and allow us to bring our own food. Ridiculous. If 1/2 the park is closed, don't charge as much.
Great time, yummy food, long water slide lines but to be expected ... Truthfully the 5 goes to the lifeguard that jumped into action and saved this boy (maybe 5yrs. Old) from drowning in the wave pool!! Thankfully I've never seen/been in that situation, but its nice to see people (employees) being alert and doing their job!!
Nice park, but really long and slow lines. 3 and a half hours for 3 rides
unfortunately only one free-swim pool and it gave out a 5-minute sequence of waves every ten minutes. the rest is boring waterslides. Also, the lazy river was running but closed. the staff in the restaraunts were messy and unorganized. Two of the rides with the best feedback were closed. The lifeguards don't pay attention. I saw a little boy almost drown in the wavepool, until he called for help multiple times and his mother made it over to him. the only thing the lifeguards pay attention to is people roughhousing. also there is a solid 2 hours where you can't use inner tubes in the wave pool. the whole place is inconsiderate to customers. the concrete is scorching hot, and there aren't any water fountains. so if you're thirsty, you can either drink chlorinated water that's most likely 30% urine, or you can buy an overpriced water bottle.
they try to get you to spend as much money as possible. you have to pay money to rent an inner tube unless you have a blue bracelet. the lack of water fountains is just plain evil. what if someone didnt bring a wallet or can't afford a $5-$10 water bottle? what if they got dehydrated and passed out? especially in the wave pool. you could drown in that.
above all this, though, i had a great time with my family. i am happy we went here. with all it's imperfections, i know that they're trying. my favorite part: the fact that safety is their top priority.
of you come here, though, bring extra cash for water and food.
Thank you, Raging Waves, for giving us the high note to end our family vacation.
A good waterpark to come to since there aren't many times choose from in Illinois however I'm from SC and have been to better. There are some slides that were slow and not much to hype about. The food are expensive as you expect. But the people are kind and parking was abundant maybe since we came during the 4th July week. But we used free parking section and were able to bring our own water bottles. They did screen the bags before coming in. The lines were very short and easy to go on rides multiple times! Love this since we rarely get this chance at home! Ice cream was good here too!
I had a blast with my cousins. There is usually no space to sit if you come late. I feel like the place needs more trees for shade as it is very hot.
Reallyfun but if they add more rides it will be 5. They do have a lot of rides but it feels like a little bit compared to like six flags and stuff
Awesome water park service is great, I think they should expand a bit
Had a great time! Even with things shut down for 2020 we had a blast
Fun place for teenagers. I wish they'd allowe people to bring in their own food. You're okay to bring in bottled water, if it's still sealed.
This is a great place to take your kids in the hot Illinois summer. If your a local its even better as they offer great family package deals. Even has a wave pool and a lazy river!
very nice place even when it's busy your still comfortably moving around
Great place!! 10 year old nephews had an amazing time!
Clean, great rides.Food is expensive and minimal. Usually packed on warm days, but that's to be expected.
We enjoyed until it started raining but they gave us half a day passes back. Can you say Win!!!
Overpriced, food wait was outrageous, half park is closed stall charging full price for 1/4 of any other water park in Illinois. Never coming back. I d rather play in a puddle in the parking lot and spend 10$ than waste my time inside
Just Ok, Only one pool, which was crowded. Lazy river was a joke, bunch of kids just running around w/o tubes, LG did NOTHING. Water was VERY COLD. On the other hand, slides were fun !
Thrilling yet pricey and on the boomerang you can hit your head
Lines can be ridiculous even if you have prepurchased tickets. Get there early.
So much fun to be had! The amenities here are incredible, can't say enough good things to friends in the area. Go check this place out!!!
Awesome park but our experience was terrible. They allow you to walk/run on the lazy river, no tube needed. There's nothing lazy about it, kids are playing tag, grown folks cutting lines to steal tubes. Waiting in line for pizza was horrendous, a family of 5 in front of us turned into 20+ people allowing their family members to cut.
