Overall, I'm disappointed with the stay. I was with my husband and 13-year-old grandchild. Admission quite expensive, own meals forbidden, drinking too, long queues for all kinds of attractions, food stands and all kinds of menus, that too expensive are still small portions. Granddaughter disappointed and we too. It was our first and last stay there

fun waterpark, but their food is really expensive and really Awful, all that we tried were microwaveable foods, that tasted old! they only have a set of restrooms/changing rooms and it's far from the kiddie & toddler attractions, so it was a real hassle running my granddaughter to the restroom every time she had to go & we hoped she wouldn't have an accident before we got there.

Had an amazing time at Raging Waves this past weekend. Weather was perfect so there was a large crowd. But even with the overpopulation, still managed to get on some slides, chill in the lazy river, and surf it up in the wave pool. No need to bring a cooler of food (like other water parks) as the restaurants inside are very reasonably priced. Where else can you get ice cream for $2! Get there early to secure coveted lounge chairs near the wave pool.

We went the other day and loved it! However, there are a few things that could have made it better though. My husband and I (currently 7 months pregnant) went with our two kids, ages 3 and 2. At koala cove, the 3 kids slides were great, but when I was at the bottom of the slides readying to catch our children off the slides, it was hard to see and monitor our kids at the top because there were brush/plants in the way. I had to rely on the lifeguards to make sure my kid got on the slide okay and was taking his turn. I was also afraid my kids would run off into Kangaroo Falls. I understand it's nice to have access between the 2 but it made it hard to monitor my 2 toddlers. I think cutting the brush and/or adding another lifeguard would help me want to return.

The other thing that would have made it excellent was if the food didn't take F O R E V E .R to finally be served. Seemed like Jersey Mike's subs and the simple popcorn stand near the entrance were taking their sweet time. Seriously, how long does it take to fill a paper bag full of already popped popcorn?! And at Jersey Mike's, there was a very long line. You'd think the staff would be a little more in a hurry to serve all those people, especially the ones 7 months pregnant and with toddlers, like myself.

Great water park. Just hoping for a few tweaks.

I have not stepped foot inside your waterpark but your traffic plan is so poor I do not plan to ever visit it. We were stuck in bumper to bumper traffic for over an hour because your waterpark backed up traffic instead of providing multiple entrances.

Went there on 7/18 worst decision ever, didn t stay for over 1 minutes. They had a line over 100 people outside, while the park was beyond packed. Tickets online were sold out, but the front desk let Multiple groups of 25 buy tickets at the door, the employees were rude. Absolutely no social distancing enforced, we paid over $44 per ticket. Waste of money and time.

The price is decent, the rides are fun, and the staff I encountered were friendly. Parking is abysmal though. The park seems to be getting more popular, but it doesn't have enough parking spaces to keep up with that growth.

Excellent waterpark that's extremely family friendly, safe, and clean. Though not every ride/slide was open due to COVID it was still nonetheless extremely enjoyable. I'm sure good weather also added to the overall experience. Definitely go!

Nice, clean, and well kept. All the employees we encountered were smiling and everyone greeted us and asked if we were having a good time or said, "have fun".

The food WASN'T outrageously expensive and the tickets and lockers were a decent value. Both allowing you to go in and out as needed. I really liked the wrist bands for locker access.

My main complaint is that the locker rooms and showers were mostly useless. They were clean and we'll kept, but there was no soap for the showers or anywhere to put your stuff while you showered. No hooks, benches, or shelves.

Nice water park, great lazy river, nice slides, pretty good food for a stand in a waterpark. The wave pool was awesome until they let the floats in. Let's not forget float rentals... really?! Want to use a blue float pay $5 welcome to ILLINOIS! Seriously in a waterpark!! They seem to limit how many free floaties there are available and will order you off the blue rental ones if you don't buy a wrist band to use them. Mind you the blue ones are EVERYWHERE MOSTLY EMPTY!! They told a woman with a very small baby to get off, they had to walk the rest of the way to get out of the lazy river. That's what the lifeguards do, whistle, yell and demand you get off the floatie. Oh btw the wrist bands aren't included in their overpriced season pass! Nice place, I'm passing on the season pass and won't frequent this park often with such petty ways to nickle and dime its clientele.

Great for those families with both older and younger kids. 4 of the attractions have zero depth entry for the little guys. And there are some very thrilling options like the Wonambi and the Boomerang for big kids and adults.

On the downside there is no outside food allowed (except factory sealed water) and the parking lot can be tough to exit since there is only one exit and it chokes down to a single lane. That is the only thing that keeps the review from a 5 star.

It was a blast! I went with my son and his friend and they loved it so did I! The rides were great and really fun to go with the family or some friends! As for the lines they were pretty long but they went by quickly and it was worth the wait! So I definitely recommend coming here and going on some rides!

We loved the park last year. But looking at the full prices posted for this 2020 season considering half the park is shut down, including the lazy river and kangaroo falls which is mainly where my 4 year old plays while his older sibling and cousins go play on the other parts in which many of those sections are closed including the 3 sisters and the mat race...very sad. We unfortunately will not be returning this year. How can you charge full price for half the park? Truly taking advantage of the times...

My son and I visited this waterpark for the first ...

My son and I visited this waterpark for the first time today. What a great place to go for some water fun! Pros: Free parking, if you don't mind a slight walk. Absolutely fun waterslides! (Although, just like amusement parks...your child/ren has/have to be greater than 42-48 inches tall to be allowed to go on the slides). The place is landscaped beautifully, and well-kept cleanliness-wise. Big, well-watched by the guards wave pool (a young lassie in the shallower section swallowed some water, and they were in the water in an instant making sure she was ok). And, the food (what little we had), was good. Cons: today is August 16th. From my calculations, there are still at least 18 days left before most pools/waterparks close, and not all kids are back to school yet.It was decently busy for a Friday in the 'back to school' season. I was surprised (and rather disappointed) that the lazy river was closed, due to 'understaffing issues' because the college kids on staff were heading back to school. My son (he's 15) and I both felt, that it would've been nice to be able to float around on that for a while in between all of the walking from the slides to the wave pool to take a break, but still enjoy the water. Also, the 3 body waterslides were closed, and looked as though they hadn't been operated in months, if not years. I don't know about other budget-conscious parents, but if I'm going to spend money on something...I'd like to be able to get the full experience. The least the park could do is offer a slight discount to patrons if they know in advance that parts of it aren't going to be operational due to lack of staff. Or, plan ahead, since folks are paying a pretty decent price per head to visit, and make sure that they have coverage for the times when they know that some of their own staff are going back to school, yet they still won't be closing for a few more weeks. Or, post updates on their website, or SOMETHING. In my eyes...that's just business practice that's not up to par. And, frustrating to those of us coming there, seeing it for the first time and wanting a fully enjoyable experience.

This place has got what it takes...so long as they're properly staffed. My thoughts? Go in June or July, and you most likely won't be disappointed.

Have been going here every year since 2012. Always get a cabana. would recommend going on a wed. or a thurs. to downsize the crowds, or just any time during the week really. Really great slides. a little expensive but Costco and groupon offers discounted prices, would only go with the dicount. $36 is too much (full price).

The space is large and there is a lot to do, so I like it for that. I think the park could be managed better in some ways. Having to rent tubes is stupid, but most of all, this place can get packed to the point it isn't fun. We stood for like 25 minutes in the hot sun for a locker. The lazy river was full of stress since you're basically in a human soup. Lines for slides can be like an hour on busy days. Maybe a cap would help. I understand getting the most people in to profit , but coming here isn't cheap!
