I went on Sunday the 19th. For father's day. I thought that it was awsome. All father's got in for free. My son was also free. I just had to pay for myself. The park was so much fun. We got there like at 11:30 and left at 5. My husband was able to get on most rides, was a bit of a bummer that he couldn't get on a few because he needed at least another person to ride. But that's ok. More fun when we return. My son had a blast in the kids area. And I loved the lazy river. The water was not cold at all. We brought our own snacks so we left the park for about 30 minutes. I bought a funnel cake sundae which was super good. They mistakenly gave me chocolate ice cream, but had no problem fixing it for me. Was pricey. But tastie. I seen employees constantly cleaning. Overall fun fun fun. I hope to go back, just have to have money. It's expensive but it is a Huge park.

staff were friendly. probably a better idea to go on a weekday, i found myself cramped in in the women's dressing room / bathroom shoulder to shoulder with more undressing people than i could stand. too many people in one place at a time for sure made for a nice aggressive shoulder checked day at the park for me and the whole family. i hope that with these free passes they gave me for closing early 15 minutes after we got there that we will have a better time here. thankyou raging waves

pros:

pros:
- large park, with a good rides, long relaxing lazy river and good wave swimming pool
- good but expensive locker system
- great friendly stuff, life guards do really good job and keep customers entertained
- good ice creams

cons:
- tubes NOT included in the ticket price, you have to pay extra and rent them?? Great idea to make extra $$$ but really painful for customers (really stupid idea in my opinion) My son and I was asked several times to stop using blue tubes as we do not paid for them??
- crowded, really long lines ... for the best ride over 1h waiting time, for other good rides ~30min (and we were there on Wednesday? i wonder what is it on the weekends?)

Came here when they opened up this weekend and honestly what a waste of money. Lazy river was closed a bunch of other parts of the park were closed. I will say it s very clean. Also, if you leave the parking lot to go out to eat they will make you PAY AGAIN for parking. Pretty ridiculous if you ask me. I won t ever be coming here again.

Definetely not the biggest waterpark in IL. Most of the times overcrowded so you have to wait 30 min in lines to attraction or to get food. No fast lane option. Not sure if I will be back.

Really a great waterpark, clean, friendly & helpful staff. There are loads of slides, shoots, fantastic wave pool & a really long lazy river. I am sure I missed somethings there is just so much! Arrived with grandchildren before noon & left at 5:30. Time flew, good value & the food was reasonable.

We had a blast. Tons of slides and fun things for the kids to do. Was really crowded though and the lines were pretty long. But the day we went was busier than normal. Also it seems that they short the amount of innertubes for the slides and lazy river to make you feel like you have to pay to rent a tube. Dumb. Going to be back. Probably getting a season pass next year.

Nope. Too many people. Too many dirty people that leave trash and stuff out. People! Have respect for your local waterpark. The reason consessions are so expensive is because of slobs like you. So the next time you go, put your trash in a can. Put ypur life vest away after use(or lern to swim)!

Fun

I just went there for the first time in my life yesterday 8-15-15 and all I have to say is WOW! This has to be THE WORST waterpark EVER! The place is over crowded and they rent a tube. RENT! by the time I got there they weren't selling any more wristbands so I couldn't get one. And entrance is $30/person. Worst way to invest money. I hope they look at their reviews and make changes because it is so ridiculous!!

This is the best waterpark I've been to. It has everything you want in a waterpark without being overwhelming. It is easy to get to and parking is never a problem. They offer VIP parking for a small fee or plenty of free spaces. They have all age groups covered with two kiddie areas, a wave pool, lazy river and 11 water slides. You can rent your own raft for the day as well as a cabana for privacy and shade. There are plenty of food spots and snack shacks. I purchase a Groupon every year at a reasonable price. This park is well worth your time and money!

Very expressive! U can't bring anything in there no pool toys for kids not even little snacks for my 2 yr old... wouldn't let me take my water in! The staff was gonna let my 2 yr old boy go down big slides by himself and it was not safe he can't even swim! And a few workers didn't even watch the little kids going down to see if they were ok. I wouldn't return!

Expensive but very fun to spend the whole day here. Like the wave pool but buy a float for five bucks it's worth it. My granddaughter didn't have one and she was getting pummeled by waves so we went and got her one.

We won a family pass through the libary and they wouldnt let us use it. They said it was kindergaten through 8th grade not family passes. They wanted us to pay for the parents and kids who were past 8th grade. The tickets did NOT state that they where only K-8th !!! We drove an hour to get there and couldn't even enjoy the park!!!!

I gave them two stars because the park itself is very nice, well keep and clean but that said I will not be back and the main reasons is the tube rentals (I have been to a lot of water parks and never found one so bold to force its guest to rent tubes of wait in lines for a free one). The blue tubes require paid wrist bands (that the lifeguards are task to enforce and this could be a safety issue) and if you scan the park from a higher slide you will see very few fee tubes compared to the rentals. The other big negative is no coolers, in fact no food at all (I hope you enjoyed the two starburst and one peanut butter cup that your crack security team confiscated, not sure how long they were at the bottom of the bag) so people have to exit the park and picnic at the car if you don t want to stand in long lines for and overpriced lunch. There are so many smaller water parks in the area that DO NOT charge for tubes, ALLOW coolers with a cheaper entry fee. Not sure we will be back to a place that seems to work very hard to nickel and dime its guests after paying the entry fee. If you want to avoid long lines and the expense of Raging Waves there are very nice, less expensive and relaxed parks in Lisle and Bolingbrook or Naperville.

We have participated in the Plunge into Fitness program for the past 4 years. As homeschoolers, we enjoyed the program, but for the 2017 year, Raging Waves was completely unresponsive to my 15 inquiries between December and June as I inquired by phone and email how we could participate. When I asked their Customer Service in person today, I was told that they didn't advertise this year, but the information was on the website in December. That is not true as I searched their website several times and could not find any information for the 2017 program. My kids enjoy the park but the complete lack of responsiveness is very disappointing. I hope they seek to do better next year and reach out to homeschool families again.

Maybe it's just that we went on the hottest day of the year, so I'm going to give them another shot. They were super busy and crowded. The class of people there left something to be desired. My 2yo got kicked and almost stepped on literally dozens of times--in the KIDS zone. I felt like I was doing more protecting than actually enjoying myself. Disappointed in the cost for what we actually got.
P.S. Plan to stand in line for ages and be forced to throw out your drink so that you can pay for their high-priced ones.

I went on yesterday and was very excited to go to "Illinois Largest Outdoor Waterpark", however when I arrived, I was definitely disappointed at how small the park was. There were only a few rides and then you had to hunt down a raft, from the other side, then walk back with it and proceed to climb alllllllllllll thoe stairs. You had to pay an extra $20 for the sloooooooowwwwwwwwwww zip line. Me and my family drove over an hr with high expectations only to be disappointed in the service, and the lack of variety of rides. I would recommend this park to someone who lives local and feel like relaxing in the lazy river, Otherwise, you will be better off going to Great America or any other park. I will not be returning here again. Waste of time!!!!!

Good place to keep cool...didn't like the tube rules, you needed to pay extra for the blue tubes? and there weren't many clear tubes available....however the slides, wave pool, kiddie sections were clean and nice variety of concession stands
