Our room overlooked the Marina Bay Sands on a high floor. It was worth the extra expensive. Hotel was very clean, staff were helpful and friendly. The selection of food at breakfast was excellent. The pool area is not massive so go at quiet times if you want a sun lounger. The bar in the pool area is very good!

Very good location. Few steps from Raffles Hotel with direct access to Raffles City Mall at the lobby. The hotel is also a walk away from the church, convenient for Catholics who want to attend mass. Very nice view of Esplanade and Marina Bay Sands as well. The hotel is also part of the Accor Plus hotel group which is advantageous for members. The hotel staff are very friendly and helpful

As I just received the response from Swissotel The Stamford(thanks for noticing this), I think i need to explain why I was giving 4-star instead of 5. Everything was smooth until I checkout, when I checkout, I found there was a 90 SGD charge on my room which confused me, I didn't do anything, the staff came to me and confirmed that I didnt had any breakfast and they just let me go. I appreciated the help but I think it should not happen at the very first place.

Great hotel for the price, was the best deal we could find in Singapore. The area is really nice, expensive though, and kind of touristy. Take a bus out to the real living areas to find a good place to eat. The view was really good from the balcony.

We found this hotel a great place to base our 7 night visit to Singapore. We had a room on the 30th floor that faced marina bay sands. Magnificent views day and night. Our room was very comfortable with everything you would need. The breakfast was great. The rooftop bars were a nice place to end a long day sightseeing. The hotel service was fantastic, they helped us with every query. Easy walk to Marina bay sands and Gardens by the bay. The MRT is right at the hotel with quick and easy trips to all the attractions. Would definately stay here again.

This hotel has the BEST views of downtown and surrounding Singapore. The balcony is great and private. The room itself is huge and cozy bed. The breakfast is great though quite busy and not enough seats. I had to stand in line for like five minutes just for (one) to be seated but worth it!!

The gym and spa is amazing. There is a nice pool and also some tennis courts! I look forward to staying here again.

Really nice hotel. Great location in Singapore. Right near a MRT and shops/food. Short walk to Marina Bay too. Orchard Rd within walking distance though a longer walk.
Bathrooms are clean though VERY Tired (Rm 2365). Our shower needed muscles of steel to turn off to the degree is wasn't running (more than a drip).

Luxury hotel in the heart of Singapore with all facilities. Rooms are almost expensive (you should note that in Singapore you can find different hotels from $ 60 per night to $ 130 and the average price of this hotel is $ 180)
The hotel is right next to the train station and the shops and you can access these facilities by underground.
Breakfast is varied and has fresh fruits and food and is delicious and has good staff.
Of course, you should keep in mind that if you go to Singapore just for vacation and to see the city, the hotel should not allocate a large amount of your budget (Marina Hotel is no exception and getting a room in it to use the rooftop pool is worth it!) .
The view of the city is really from the rooms on the upper floors.
Another point is that like most medium-sized hotels, there are no special facilities for children.

Book a room for NDP and request for higher floor to see fireworks with bathtub in the toilet. But the hotel counter staff told me to upgrade to have a higher floor with bathtub with additional cost, but we have another family checking in the same date paid the same price and got their request. Very misleading.
