We had our Wedding reception there last year, we were very pleased with everything Excellent staff, excellent food, and a beautiful hotel. Zuzana their wedding coordinator met with us at the planning stage, and Anthony looked after us and our guests on the day can't recommend them highly enough. Thank you!
Old, dirty and quite damp. They need to renovate it. Don't waste your money and time, not a nice experience. The staff and overall service is fine, everyone has been very polite and helpful. However; this is not enough to compensate the need for deep cleaning and renovation.
A great home from home. accessible parking, easy to find, well sign posted from motorway. Fair prices and beautiful lounge and dining areas. Completely wheelchair accessible. Great conference facilities.
The food and bar is great here. Hotel staff is very friendly. The gardens are well kept and gorgeous. Great breakfast selections. The room photos make the room look airy but when you're there, it's kinda like grandma's bedroom. The AC didn't quite get cold so we had to keep the patio doors open at night to get a breeze. During the day the room gets stuffy. We asked for additional pillows as they'd flatten within minutes. The additional pillows helped some. The bed itself is comfortable. You'll have USB outlets next to the bed(very handy). Location wise, you can walk to the local store and a couple of great restaurants. Uber/taxi to the city is about a 15-20min ride for about $20 euros. Overall, I just wish the rooms were a bit more updated.
From our first viewing experience of the Radisson to planning of the wedding reception, to the actual wedding day and morning after staying the night there was truly fabulous. Myself, husband , family and friends were blown away at how fantastic the service was from the get go. With getting everything right for our big day we knew from the beginning that all would go perfectly due to the genuine and such kind responses from staff members.
From making an appointment with Mario and meeting him at the venue on the first day was incredible. Anything we asked for he kindly responded with Yes that can be done. There was no difficulty with anything and his emails with any information needed with regards to the menus etc where prompt. Looking back this really took a lot of the stress and pressure out of things and for that we were truly grateful.
So as we left Mario and went up stairs we decided to have a coffee and celebrate and we got talking to Liam at the bar beside reception. We told him the news and he was genuinely happy for us.Liam put us at ease with his great sense of humor, warmth and reassurance that it will be a beautiful day. I have worked many years in sales and customer service and I love it when I see passionate people providing an excellent service. So with that, we left the Radisson extremely excited knowing we had made the best decision to go ahead to book it.
It s rare I do reviews but it s also rare that the service is a 100%. There is literally no cons to this review and I believe it will become to lengthy with how amazing everything was. All the staff created an amazing atmosphere on which we will be forever thankful and grateful for. Thanks for the complimentary drinks and for inviting us back for dinner on our anniversary. Anyone working that day and night please thank them again.
The staff is very friendly, very attentive at all times. We had a problem with the heating in the room and it was solved in a moment. The beautiful gardens. It is a bit far from the center but at the same door there are buses that leave you in the center in a moment. Without a doubt we will repeat.
Absolutely fab hotel only 30 from Dublin well worth the visit lovely staff ... when you get the weather its just fab the gardens have terraces and really lovely peaceful gardens room was lovely and spacious we booked into a buisness suite ... def go and see this hotel as Codv.19 has hit all hotels please support these guys across the whole of the hospitality industry and just follow the procedures as the hotel has set out ... your are protecting yourself and the staff
Magnificent hotel, rooms were very quiet, even with the knowledge that a large, loud Christmas party was going on, we didn't hear a thing in our room. The rooms have all the amenities needed. Decorated nicely for the holidays. Bar had great service..Talavera Italian restaurant down below was very good and busy. Only two complaints would be a lack of change(Euros/coins) available to be made by the front desk staff and the wifi was not very strong in the room.
Perfect place for a covid19 two night, Dublin enforced, break. Staff and amenities totally on top of the current requirements. Lovely room and the food for all meals was excellent. Hotel is set in it's own beautiful grounds with lovely walks and outdoor dining, weather permitted. Definitely worth a stay.
The surroundings were beautiful, food was ok, still water was in demand but had to keep asking for it to be refilled and when the tea and coffee was poured out we had to ask for the milk to be brought, none on any of the tables which didn't arrive for a while, glass water bottle had a broken jagged edge on it.
Great night until the bathroom floor start gushing water in the room at 6am an came threw into the room an the carpet was soaked,we wer moved to a different room after we declined the offer to just stay in the room that was flooding,we did not as much as get a sorry for the inconvenience or an offer of a complimentary breakfast the following morning. When dropping back the keys at reception i spoke about it with the receptionist an he as good as shrugged an just smiled..i will not be staying again.
Fabulous room. Breakfast has a great selection of food to choose from. Conservatory bar nice and relaxing. Very close to Dublin city. Killing,Dalkey,Bray and Greystones all close by.
Quite a nice hotel. Slightly overpriced. Not well equipped for children ages 2-4 (no child chairs, only those for new borns in the restaurant and at breakfast. No forks and knives suitable for that age). Friendly staff.
We had a birthday dinner on Valentine s Day for 26 adults +kids . 1.They gave us different room instead the one we asked,we said ok no prob. 2.Our choice was 3 course menu, when we asked for dessert menu they said that they don t have desserts and rudely excused you said you going to have your cake ,from the beginning we said that we not going to bring our cake! We booked thru a staff member that is our close friend, she is the one who makes desserts in Raddison, and we got confirmation that the desserts where prepared for us but weren t offered, which she found them next morning when she got back to work and wondered why the desserts weren t served? 3.Also any time we ordered any drinks took ages for them to get,one of the guest said to the staff that he ordered a drink long time ago which ended up an arrogant supervisor to come over and give out. 4.We were talking to our guests at the table when receptionist came over with the bill saying that they need the room.We were shocked and felt kicked out. They supposed to ask us first if we want to order any more drinks or we want the bill!???
We had a few events in the past done with you guys and was great, yesterday was horrible which left us and all guest totally disappointed.Looks that the system doesn t work anymore there.
Shocking service this evening. We booked 6 months ago .. so disorganised.. dinner booked for 8pm...entree came out at 10pm!! Eating main course at 11pm is far too late. The staff did their best. Management problem for sure. Cannot recommend.
A beautiful hotel with lovely grounds had a very nice lunch food was very nice the atmoshere was very relaxed comfy seating a touch of the old world you could sit back & relax there all day. Staff very helpful & friendly saw some people having afternoon tea & it looked delicious will definately be back to try the afternoon tea.
*If you are planning to stay here I would advise you to look for somewhere better.* There is no way this is a five star hotel. I was here on the August Bank Holiday for a wedding. The service here is not great at all. They were told in advance I had a food allergy and yet when I made my order for the dinner the staff had no idea what to do. There was a lot of commotion and I was repeatedly given food I cannot eat and they were unprepared about the food they could actually give me. The dinner service itself was a bit all over the place anyways. Drinks are crazy prices here and we were mainly having soft drinks that day. There was no table service for drinks at any stage of the day anywhere in the hotel which I found strange for this type of hotel. Staff seemed to not engage with guests and seemed annoyed when approached. The wedding finished quite early and the staff were dismantling the room before people had even left. When we went to the room to get some sleep we pulled back the covers to find the bed was not clean so we had to sleep on top of the covers. We weren't going to ring the staff as they were unapproachable enough during the day. The following morning we tried to have showers but in order to get into the shower the door had to be jimmied open and left open while having the shower as you were afraid the door wouldn't reopen. Unfortunately the beautiful grounds and downstairs space does not make up for the lack of service and standards in this hotel. I have stayed in cheaper quality hotels that have more attention to detail.
My Daughter celebrated her wedding here last week and I must say it was amazing. The food was amazing, the staff couldn't have been better, you would know they were well trained. The manager has done a super job and he is a real gentleman. All our guest's at the wedding said it was the best wedding they have been at. I Would highly recommend this venue for any occasion.
Have had a number of work events held here over the past 5 years. Beautiful location. Great gardens. Lovely staff. Food on all occasions has been good, but not 5 star.
excellent hotel , lovely rooms and surroundings generally . Staff friendly and service excellent too . food also to a very high standard . would stay again for sure given the chance !!
The staff are fantastic here. The grounds and the main areas i.e. lobby, bar, dining area, drawing rooms were so nice however the rooms and corridors dated and need some TLC. Overall a real good place. Also complementary parking and only 15-20 mins from everything accessed by taxi or bus
Attended an event there. The hotel is lovely and the food was great. As the hotel isn't situated near a local pub or bar and you need to get a taxi back into the city centre. They are very strict about their bar closing time. Our friends were staying in the hotel and asked could we join them in the residents bar for one drink and was declined.
Beyond beautiful! The gardens are so peaceful with beautiful flowers. The staff is most attentive. The breakfast delicious. My favorite hotel on our CIE tour in Ireland.
My wife left earings in the room that we staid in.I contact property many times asking them to check room for missing earings.3 weeks since my visit and still no answer from property.Poor customer service.Wouldnt expect from 5 star hotel
Came from USA for our Honey Moon. When we first arrived service was GREAT.And Thank you Liam for your amazing service at lunch time.Such friendly and speedy service when it was packed in the bar. When we got to room, the mini bar was empty, refrigerator was warm. Then later in the evening we were walking to the bar and was asked by front desk if we had rooms here in a down grading voice.Yes we were dressed down due to going in the city to shop and visit a pub.Made us feel very uncomfortable. When we went in the bar that evening with maybe 4 tables to attend to we waited forever for a waiter to come he gave us menus and disappeared for a while. We finally ordered a drink 40 minutes later I had to ask for the bill because they kept walking past us with clearly our glasses empty but never asked if we needed anything else.Way to go on making our stay so welcoming..And our special day so memorable..Never will recommend or return.
There bedmattress could be better, other places have better bed mattresses. May be issue only with my room. Can't comment if same in all rooms. Only stayed one night. Otherwise a good property with great garden. A bit far from City centre though.
Lovely food, as always. Enough choices for a vegetarian and deserts are fabulous as well. Free parking and a pleasant walk in the grounds. Bit of an oasis
