I can not fault one thing about this hotel and the staff, Zuzana and Kaela I want to both thank you for all you did coming up to the wedding and especially Kaela and David who went out of their way to look after my husband and I through out the day and also for going out of their way to look after my mam who was very sick that day

The hotel was beautifully decorated for Christmas and the room was fabulous. We didn't have dinner but had breakfast there and the choice was superb including a range of dairy and gluten free options which I don't always come across in other hotels. I have to say that Pavel at check-in was unbelievably helpful and really went over and above to endure our stay was fantastic.

We stayed in a double room and it was absolutely amazing. We had free wifi. The room was big enough, clean and comfortable. Pillows and the bed were so comfy. We had two single blankets for one double bed, but it was ok because everything else was perfect. I thought we don't have socket near the bed, but of course there was USB socket then I could charge my mobile. The hotel staff is extremely friendly and helpful. For instance, we couldn't make a booking through the number given in Radisson Hotels web page. Then we called directly Radisson Blu St. Helen's Hotel and Alexandra helped us, tried to understand what we want and we could make our reservation. We couldn't have a chance to meet him, thank you Alexandra! He was very helpful and patient. We needed a taxi and they provide us a taxi. Additionally, as a coffee lover we are, we loved the latte and cappuccino in Radisson Blu St.Helen's Hotel! The taste of coffee reminded me Rome, Italy. It was delicious. All the staffs working in the bar are very friendly and kind. Moreover, it has a beautiful garden, even it's raining you can still have that beauty. Last but not least is the car park, it's free, secure and there was enough space. I would love to stay in there soon! Thanks a million!

We booked a family room in advance and upon arrival we were told that by mistake there was not our room. They gave us another one with a sofa bed, they offered us free breakfast and drinks at the bar. The room had a dirty bathroom with hairs in the bathtub and cobwebs in the lamps. Also, the room was totally cold and did not have any kind of heating. After complaining we put a small electric radiator in the room, we go something very ridiculous. All that in a 5 star I find embarrassing because in Ireland we were in 3 star rooms much better maintained and with a committed and attentive staff. At check-out the manager who first tried to make us pay for free drinks answered us and then asked us if everything was ok, when we told him wrong, he answered us well then you do not have to pay for more things. This hotel has a beautiful building, but does not give the just importance to the training of the staff, from cleaning up. Such a 5-star service is unforgivable. This radisson is far below other hotels of this same high quality chain where I was already, for example the one in Sligo.

This is a review of the Orangerie Bar Restaurant. We had to eat inside due to rain. The first table was adequate but in a cold draft. The second? The seating a mish mash of couch and comfy chairs (not so
k comfortable!) The staff were wearing extraordinary face shields..nose to top lip. NOT SAFE! Music inappropriately loud and ear piercing hip hop. Food? Boring.

The original 16th century house looks lovely but a couple of brusque receptionists and a chaotic breakfast was definitely not 5 star. 15 min queue on narrow stairs for breakfast. A very friendly maitre d' did his best but tables were either not cleared quickly or plate removed while fork was still aloft.

I have to say for such a beaitiful expensive hotel, I was shocked at how poor the sevice was and how confusing the layout is. Once w e found the reception, checkin wasn't too difficult. I decided to get a drink at the bar. This took about 5 minutes while lots of people moved around looking busy. There were about 8 other guests in the bar. We were attending a function in one of the function rooms which was really nice and the food was good. Again the bar trying to order a drink for a friend who wad driving (tomato juice) to be told sorry you have to go upstairs for that. Later on in the evening it was my turn to get some drinks. Silly me forgot they only have tomato juice upstairs. I was sent away to get it myself again. I understand not keeping a supply in a function room bar but if a customers orders it more than once is it not common sense to maybe bring some down and show a little bit of thought for the paying guest. The next morning at breakfast again the food was good. Myself and my wife ordered tea. We were brought coffee and no mention of anything other than the buffet. This are minor things but it is attention to the small details like good customer service that would earn better reviews

It s an older hotel which has charm but lacks some comfort. The rooms are ok but not great. Some very friendly staff and some not. Restaurant was ok but lacks variety. The Italian restaurant was good but definitely lacked a bit of service.

Beautiful building and lounge area. Ordered coffee and scones. Coffee from push button machine, so no adjustments to order possible. Really poor quality scones. None of the group ate more than a quarter of a scone. Very disappointing from hotel of this standard.

Service is very good. Food is particularly tasty. Not entirely kid friendly, but they understand the importance of catering for kids. Happy kid = relaxed parent.

Toilets are hit n miss. Depends what is on in the hotel. There's a Porsche club and a post wedding BBQ - male toilets are terribly messy.

Great

Went for afternoon tea yesterday. I give two stars for staff friendliness and situation, however, for the afternoon tea I give zero. I have yet to see such a poor presentation and standard for this price. This was emperor's new clothes personified The bread, in all open sandwiches, was dry as if it had been sitting on a worktop for an hour before serving...almost not, but definitely a tinge of crispy wispy on their surfaces. The presentation of all the sandwiches was very poor, not bad for your local caf, but definitely not of the standard you'd expect from any establishment wishing to call itself classy. Attention to detail, nothing delightful, no ooooos, no aaaaas ....about the same standard as you'd find after a hurling feile down in your local GAA club. It cost 30 each, money for jam for Raddisson (speaking of which, no jam with scones only cream......attention to detail? need I say more?)

Paid for a nice room and was very disappointed. The view was nice but the room is in bad need of refurbishment. The bathtub was stained - would recommend the housekeeping invest in some bleach. The chromecast connection did not work. Someone from maintenance came but was not able to resolve.
We went for food in the bar and I asked a member of staff if there were any tables available and was told 'I don't know, you'll have to look'. We then sat at a table in the conservatory area that was not cleaned for 10 minutes or so so we decided to move into the lounge area. We both ordered burgers - not great quality, definitely overpriced, we didn't finish them despite being fairly hungry at the time.
All in all, it was a disappointing experience. The hotel exterior and grounds are beautiful so we thought it would be a nice setting for Valentine's weekend but the hotel really let's itself down on service and is in desperate need of refurbishment.

It's the second time I come here for a company summer party. While I haven't been a guest yet, I have heard it's really good. From what I've seen, the staff is friendly, they have a massive garden and a good restaurant!

Currently staying at this hotel and not blown away by the service at all. So far I ve been walked in on half naked by a cleaning staff after she knocked and immediately entered my room. My tea kettle in my room had old water in it, I asked the front desk for a new kettle and was brushed off. My fridge isn t on and my mini bar isn t stocked. My room had two rolls of toilet paper that were less than 1/3 full. This morning I was woken up at 8am by cleaning staff who was loudly stacking up glasses on her cart right outside my room. After a day of traveling across the world, I really needed a good night of rest. My mom is also staying her and received turndown service and I didn t, made me question why there is an inconsistency there.

The grounds and hotel are beautiful and the bed is comfortable though. We ve enjoyed the dining accommodations very much. I was hoping for better service though from staff.

Do not eat at the restaurant. The only meal I ate on my second day was room service from the hotel, and I got severe food poisoning. It absolutely ruined my trip. I found the staff unsympathetic. I didn't get to enjoy anything either inside our outside of the hotel.

The building was lovely and some staff were very friendly but the dining experience was quite poor. We understand there's a limited menu due to the restrictions but the food was actually terrible. Should be nicer at a 5 star hotel

Loved this property, Very comfortable, beautiful bar and lounge area. The landscaped grounds are just icing on a very acceptable cake. Restaurant Brunch/ Breakfast outstanding. Dublin, Ireland has some great staff from all over the World. Each of them sing the praises of a beautiful City.

If you're loooking for 5 star this is not the e hotel. Although the grounds are beautiful assoon as you reach reception it all changes. The staff at reception are dreadful very slow, talking amongst themselves while you are trying to check in.really like they don't wanta be there. The room was a suite it was the worse suite i ever stayed in. Heating didn't work room was so cold there was a electrical heater. The room smelled and the decor was dated. It was 3 star at best. The breakfast again food was ok but the staff fir a 5 star place was terrible. I have never stayed in a hotel trying to market themselves as 5 star but at a push is a bad 4 star. How rassidison gives there name to this hotel and who rates it is beyond me. Save yourself the hassle and book elsewhere.
