Arranged to meet up with an old friend in the lounge for a light meal. One meal was served promptly & 30 minutes later the second one had not arrived. We had inquired twice and were told it was being prepared, then it arrived, with apologies because there was a new waiter . BEFORE we had a chance to complain about the delay, the manager copped the situation, removed the two meals & swiftly replaced them with freshly prepared ones thus ensuring that our evening was not spoiled. He also informed us that our entire meal and drinks would be on the house to make up for the delay. 5/5 for 5* treatment when things go wrong! Other RESTAURANTS & HOTELS PLEASE COPY!
Impressive, thank you!

A lovely hotel with very pleasant helpful staff. Well catered for with precautions in place due to the virus. Food in the bar restaurant and breakfast highly recommended. Hotel set in lovely grounds with plenty of outside places for dining or enjoying a drink.

Attended a wedding here and stayed overnight. Great food and friendly staff. One of the most comfortable beds I have ever slept in. Rooms are lovely and spacious.Lovely gardens and ample car parking. Worth a visit even for a meal and drinks. Thank you to all at the radisson st Helens for making making the day and night a happy and memorable one.

Quite a big hotel with lot of greenery, little away from the city center. However, the lobbies and the hotel area is bit confusing and lost sometimes as there are no good sign boards ! But the hotel staff is very professional and ready to help and escort you !

I organised a seminar for 99 (not 100 ) people from all around the world here. The hotel is just magnificent, I would say a bit I the outskirts of Dublin. The chateau has a beautiful history and the lands surroundings are so beautiful and green. Even though for us it was a seminar I can just imagine a wedding there. The seminar was excellant and most ran smoothly. We had some WiFi and connexion hiccups during presentations that made me sweat, but all in all good. The restaurants are excellant ! The rooms are large and very comfortable. I also tried the room service and it was delicious and excellant! Very comfortable to have breakfast delivered to the room every morning. The staff were available at any moment and did their best to help us. The only negative and this has nothing to do with the hotel is that if you plan visits downtown be aware of the traffic and the time , especially when you re transporting 99 people in bus s!

Absolutely stunning building with beautiful surrounding gardens. Room was clean and luxurious with many added features including a mini bar, ice bucket and an anti steam mirror in the bathroom which was extremely useful! Staff were friendly and helpful and even gave assistance when we had car troubles (especially staff member Kevin and staff member in security car park underground :) overall an amazing experience, will definitely be returning.

Had lunch with a friend in the rear garden just before stage 5 lockdown and I could not fault it. Staff friendly and helpful despite very difficult circumstances. Well done.
Wonderful sign at carpark in front of Radisson gate. It reads...

Shocking service!!! I left an expensive bracelet in my room when I checked out. I called the hotel so many times and they were too busy to look. Then funnily enough it wasn't there. The only person who went in the room after me was the cleaner. I know where in the room I left as I only took it off to have a shower. So it must have been stolen. Wrote a review on trip advisor. And the asked me to contact them as they take all negative reviews seriously. So I did contact them and guess what they couldn't be bothered to respond.

Don't take any valuables as they will just steal them !!!!!

This is an old hotel, but for the most part appears to be well kept. Clean room, friendly staff. A little pricey, but so is everything else in Dublin. Small fitness center (open 24 hrs) with the usual cardio and weight machines, but no free weights.

Was in St. Helens on Saturday 4th November for my brother Franks wedding to his beautiful bride Alison. We had a fantastic celebration of their wedding in the hotel. Great food, drink, accommodation and entertainment. Staff and management could not have been more attentive and helpful. Would highly recommend the hotel to anyone looking for a great place to stay or celebrate an occasion. Gerry Phelan
