Lovely location, very helpful staff, nice food. I attended for an event, but would stay in rooms based on my experience.

Lovely hotel staff were very nice help you in every way.and the gardens are beautiful nice and relaxing would recommend it 100 percent
Lovely hotel in an historic old house, smalland quant, not as large and soulless as most radissions
Great food with friends and family accompanied by a glass on wine. You can't beat it.
food is first class, staff are helpfull and friendly, lovely hotel.
Beautiful location, great atmosphere in the bar on arrival at midnight, and what lovely old property. The bed was bliss, so much so that I didn t look carefully around the room which was in need of updating and sadly had a large damp stain from a roof leak. We were upgraded to a suite (which also needs upgrading) but it was a good move as it overlooked the gardens and had a terrace! The only downside was that the mini bar fridge was not working and the suite was situated next to the external air ducting which was rather noisy. However we enjoyed a great lunch function there and the hotel location was perfect. We very much enjoyed our stay.
Great spot for a wedding and company BBQ (had both there last year), beautiful location, but the staff make the difference - professional, very capable. Food excellent too.
Comfortable stay. Great breakfast. Location not so ideal. No daily service of drinking water bottle in the room.
My family stayed here while visiting me over Christmas. They spoke highly of this hotel. Thank you for looking after my family so well.
Nice hotel with nice grounds located about 5 km from city center
Tea and a scone at lunchtime is nice. Relaxed atmosphere in the bar/dining area. Staff are very helpful if you organise a party or function at the hotel.
Excellent venue
Service delightful in beautiful surroundings.
Fantastic hotel, grounds, room & staff, I thoroughly enjoyed my stay. Great value for money also.
Two stars was for an older part of the hotel that needs a lick of paint. Rest of the place is gorgeous.
It's a wax mask. Lovely looking but rotten behind. A terrific experience. Dirty, no heating room. Useless staff.
Had lunch in bar restaurant and knowing the great restaurants Dublin has to offer, lunch was very average ( something I could easily cook myself) so won't be back !
Great location, gardens & restaurant. Nice room, provide with a baby cot. Can't say anything negative about the place.
Nice rooms, quiet, nice grounds and gardens. Close to tourist places.
Hotel is lovely, really nice setting, bar is very good and staff are great. Highly recommended
Imagine, a 5 star Irish hotel with no spuds! Attended a small event there with 12 people squeezed around one table. One dish of vegetables for the group. 3 requests for some potatoes before they eventually admitted they had none left. Very mediocre meal. Had had lunch there earlier and equally disappointing. Won't be back.
Stayed here for a night and paid more compared to other dublin hotels so we could be close to the city but still have access to the beautiful gardens however when we arrived the car parks were full leaving us unable to find a space and we were denied access to the the gardens due to a Vodafone function taking place. The room and food were nice but they were not exceptional considering the price
Have a breal here recently like being in the country yet so close to Dublin.Staff were very helpful
Lovely gardens. Does a good pint of Guinness but it's pricey. Never stayed the night only been for pints.
I am so glad I didn't know how much it would cost to! get into Dublin from here. The public transportation was confusing to someone just flying in from another country without much time to see Dublin. That being said; if you can eat the cost, of a few taxis, stay here! The grounds are amazing and worth it. It is not touristy and the staff are professional but friendly. Breakfast was a little pricey but delicious! THE VIEWS!!!!! You feel like you live in an enchanted palace.
Very nice hotel at a great distance from the center. Wonderfully quiet and very friendly staff.
Had work party here, was amazing. The staff were so helpful and catered for every diet. Would love to go back
Myself and my little lady I care for went for lunch at the raddison. We really enjoyed our lunch the food was most enjoyable. The only downside was my poor lady had to climb all the steps to reach the main door there was no wheel chair ramp or lift. It took alot out of her then the same again when we were leaving. I was actually very surprised and disappointed by this but luckily we enjoyed our lunch except my nerves were gone trying to maneuver my lady back down the steps after her glass of wine
Amazing lunch.... Service food and everything was great!
Great food and great staff and very clean. Just a great place.
Really enjoyed my stay here friendly staff and lovely food
Very very good from start to finish. Lovely staff, surrounds and food. Very impressed.
Good hotel
Photos from side room view
Beautiful hotel just dropped in for tea and cakes. Will definitely return for dinner . Very nice mannerly staff
Beautiful Hotel, great food and excellent service/staff
Bed was nice and big, and in general room was lovely. However, firstly the kettle was broke, would not work, neither was the mini fridge. The sound on the telly was so poor you couldn't watch it. I rang for reception 3 times to ask for help but it wasn't answered. Limited dinner menu and they stopped serving drinks at 10.15pm on a bank holiday. I am aware of covid restrictions..bare in mind this is before the rule about shutting at 11. Surely given that we had ate a meal and as residents we should be served.. At quarter past 10..very disappointing given the price of a stay.
Stayed here recently for a wedding a the place is delightful. Food was amazing and the staff were super friendly. The grounds are beautiful and definitely worth a walk around to enjoy
Lovely outdoor surroundings. Hotel itself is a little dated to protect original building.
Amazing setup. Great service. Egg hunt was a welcome surprise
Amazing building, beautiful gardens, professional staff.
Only gave three cause staff so nice...food awful and customer service terrible...avoid eating here !
Great place, hotel in the middle of the French garden. The only downside is that it is a bit far from any restaurant if you don't want to eat in the hotel.
Restful, comfortable surroundings with lovely views over the extensive grounds.
Shocking had to give back burnt dinner. It was never good just confirmed it will not be going back ever!!!
Beautiful location, great staff, very relaxing. Easy to get around. Would stay again
Very nice Hotel, Food of 10, very attentive, the best area of Dublin
Located opposite a university town, not far from Europe's largest shopping centre, the staff are friendly and friendly
Great hotel on fantastic grounds! Staff were amazing beautiful place to stay i would highly recommend it can't wait to go back !
this is false advertising clearly says 4.5 stars please change this as it was very misleading
Very nice staff good. Food excellent .good parking.
Newly built hotel in a forested area, it has a structure suitable for its location. Simple and spacious rooms, well equipped and the bed is comfortable, pity, do not have USB plugs to charge electronic equipment. The collaborators are attentive and friendly, ready to solve whatever is requested. Breakfast is excellent.
A wonderful site. The old part of the hotel dates back to 1750.
This was by far my favorite hotel on our week long trip around Ireland. The staff was beyond AMAZING! The grounds are STUNNING!
Nice old hotel, well preserved.
Luxurious rooms.
So, started out good, ended poorly.
The place looks nice and you can tell it's trying to hold on to an upper middle class, *almost* wealthy sensibility. But soon it all starts to break down.
Your water kettle doesn't work (and the cord is built into the wall so it can't just be replaced), plastic is melted onto the clothes iron, the room is freezing and the heater doesn't work, the TV guide has no actual program listing and the TV signal cuts out for long periods of time, you come home each day to the room being cleaned in a different way than before like the staff don't really have the system nailed down. Room service works fine twice, and then the third time you wait two hours and call twice and still nothing arrives and your dinner is a packet of crisps and a yogurt you were keeping for breakfast. WiFi is about as stable as the TV, and about as fast as a 56k modem. You soon learn there's nothing nearby so it's taxis and buses to do anything. And the food is overpriced.
The rooms are clean, the staff is friendly and helpful, and the grounds are pretty. If literally all you want to do is sleep, it's great! But the execution on everything else is haphazard to poor. I would not recommend this place.
A fabulous hotel with lots of history & charm. Gardens are beautiful and extremely well maintained. Staff are warm & friendly and clearly take great pride in working in such a great location. I booked one night as a Birthday gift for my Mam which she loved. Thanks for making her stay so special. Look forward to returning soon.
making the initial
I
Buggy /wheelchair access not particularly visible at the front of the hotel. Cold soup. Forgot the bring cutlery
Very good, we hope to be also at our grandson Joshua's christening party
Staff were friendly and helpful very approachable. My four year old daughter was sick during our stay and they couldn't have been more helpful or understanding. Thanks and we will definitely be back again.
Amazing vegetable curry! Had gone for a dinner. Excellent service.
Always enjoy eating there. Lovely setting and food good.
