Nice hotel, friendly staff. Overpriced for what you get. Rooms especially bathrooms are small. There is a gym and a spa, no leisure centre. Breakfast was poor one morning but good the second morning

The room was lovely but not worth the 290 per night. The food was terrible. We ordered dinner to the room. My soup was full of olive oil and certainty was not vegetable. My boyfriend ordered steak and was actually sick after it. They did not charge us but it did ruin our night

Place was great, lots of parking, great food, and exceptional service. Rooms are very nice and anyone staying in Ireland, this would make the perfect spot. Not to close to the city but not to far away. Also close to all the east coast beaches. Would stay here again.

Stayed at the Radisson for our work party, fantastic night. The staff were great, friendly and couldn't do enough for us. The venue magical. Our room was fantastic, real luxury and night time room service and breakfast a real feast.
The spa unfortunately was a disappointment. Had booked my makeup to be applied, having been asked what way I liked it done they seemed to do the complete opposite. The false lashes were glued to my cheek at one point. And they hadn't the products to achieve the look I was after, I ran up to my room for my own. I feel I shouldn't have had to pay anything, as I left the spa with only lashes after 1 hour. And had to remove them as the overuse of glue left my eyes red. I later reapplied my own lashes perfectly.

Sharing a Birthday celebration today in the Radisson Blue Hotel for my wife's Aunt who is a 100yrs old . It was a wonderful day for the birthday girl Tina with a 100 guests attending, enjoyed the food and ambiance of the hotel.

We had our christmas party there recently. Some of us used public transport and the pedestrian entrance wasn't lit up. The service was slow while we waited between courses. Those of us who ordered a christmas mains received turkey slices instead of craved, hard sprouts and not a roast potato in sight. As we were on the first floor our drinks had a long way to come from the bar downstairs via reception. The surroundings were most opulent and plush which created warmth and comfort.

I am going to comment on this hotel based on its own star rating, that being 5 stars.

While I fully appreciate that we are just coming through CV19, I was surprised to see such a limited dinner menu. The first table we were shown to was a low table and certainly not suitable to eat dinner from. Staff were good, however they were rushed off their feet and felt for them.

Our room!
No TV remote, had to ask twice before it before it arrived.
Air con didn't work.
Heated rail in bathroom didn't work
Hand held shower head, hose was kinked and needed replaced.
Floors tiles were boast, which means that there has been A leak and the floor has been soaked for some time, meaning the tiles were lose.

But they should not state that they are a 5 star when they most definitely are not.

This is a very fair review.
I would return, but only at that price.

Hope this helps.

Ps the music they play, I simply have no idea who picks that, here's a tip, pop is not good to relax to, and certainly not in a hotel.

Please please please do something about that.

We were very satisfied with our stay. We arrived early on a redeye flight and were very pleased that we were allowed to check in early (~7 hours early!). The staff was very friendly, the building and grounds were very picturesque, and the accommodations were exactly what our family of 4 required.

This hotel has a lot of potential, when it first opened it was wonderful. I feel it has lost a lot of its sheen and needs a good make over. Parts of the hotel are tired and in real need of decorating. The bar in the reception room was difficult to get a drink with large queues, managing large events might need some further thought and man power.

The Orangerie is a lovely bright relaxing place for a meal, coffee or beer. The staff are very welcoming and professional and the food, while not the absolute best we've tasted, is very good. Plus the garden views are super. The wicker sofas were on the low side in proportion to the table so eating was a little uncomfortable The staff did however provide plenty of cushions. Next time we'd eat at a table with single wicker chairs which are in much better proportion.

Just dropped in for a family lunch/ dinner in the lounge area. Beautiful surroundings and friendly staff but crikey the food was atrocious. Sent back my hake which tasted like plastic and looked like it was covered in custard on a bed of baby food.
Unfortunately the superfood salad replacement wasn t much better and heavily spiced with cinnamon.
The side plate of steamed vegetables were rock hard and not yet even al dente.

Being Irish I rarely complain but for the 27 for vegetables and fish I just felt ripped off.

My wife was totally unimpressed with her chicken dinner too.

I have never had food here before but would love to go in the future if things change as it s a lovely venue but the like of Avoca or the many Sunday lunch Pub places do far superior food for far less cost.

That s the first bad review I have ever written but I felt so strongly I had to.

Regards Alan

Worse breakfast I ever had in Europe. Coffee sour and weak. Bread stale. disaster. Beautiful surroundings but lack of management leading skils in this place is visible. Reception under staffed during busy early check in...check out time.

The hotel is real eye candy with it's old Villa and beautiful park. The staff is extraordinary friendly and helpful.
Nevertheless I would have awarded 4,5 stars if possible as I wasn't completely satisfied with every aspect of our stay. There was a bit mould between the tiles in the shower and stains on the window as well as a broken switch. None of these things would justify a whole star less, though.
On the bright side they have USB charger sockets next to the beds, a beautiful orangery and the breakfast was absolutely worth every cent!
I would recommend the hotel at any time!

Had a lovely one night break. All staff were very friendly and immediately put you at ease considering the current situation. The staff in the dining room and breakfast room were fantastic. Very helpful and good humoured. Well done to you all, can't be easy at the moment

It was a strange experience. When we arrived we were asked if we had a booking which we hadn't, so we couldn't sit under heaters. Luckily for us it was a nice day. Tried to book for next Wednesday when we were leaving, but told they didn't take bookings. Work that one out.

We booked through hotels and had some issues regarding the booking. Despite that the hotel itself was 1st class. Beautiful grounds, excellent room and comfortable bed food was lovely. Food and drinks were a bit expensive, something to be aware of. Definitely will go back.

Slippery bath/slippery bath tiles = Very dangerous.

Fix this.

My wife on her wedding night could have been severely injured. Slipped while trying to get out of the shower.

Doesn't help that the bath tiling is also extremely slippy. Not at all happy.

Don't worry though. They have a 6cmx6cm sign that's hidden by a shower curtain that warns you of this. So it's not the hotels fault.

They also supply mats for the shower that conveniently they roll up and place outside of the shower so we don't know they're there. That's just wonderful.

The building is epic. However the air-con/heaters in the rooms are not. They are the noisiest I have ever witnessed.

However, had I left mine on, i may not have been woken at 5.30AM by the TV and kids shouting and dancing in the adjacent room. But I got to breakfast super early and the bar was great.

Fantastic place to stay on the South side of Dublin. The hotel is in a regal style with well appointed rooms, beautifully maintained gardens and surroundings. The staff were truly excellent and spectacular food can be found in the Italian restaurant downstairs.
