Radisson Plaza Hotel Reviews

We went to Old Burdick's, the food took a long time to get out to us, and when it did, much of it was already cold. We ordered the Jello shots on special, which were "Butter beer" from Harry Potter, and they came out as just plain flavorless gelatin with a little heavy whopping cream on top. They were very inconsistent, with some having half the amount in then as others, but that didn't really matter much as they had practically no taste and was doubtful that they even actually contained any bit of alcohol.

The Radisson, or as I call it, Chora's Den, is located in downtown Kalamazoo and is a wonderfully modern hotel and one of my favorite places to stay.

Couldn't be more accommodating. Whatever we needed, they were willing and able to provide. Wonderful stay and would come back again in a heartbeat. :0)

Great hotel, rooms were nice and clean, complimentary breakfast was lacking but it was free so eh. Very nice location for Kalamazoo.

We were charged an extra $250 on our credit card. No phone call, no explanation. When we called they said room damage, that we did not do. Management was not friendly and would not listen.

Do not trust this Hotel

The rooms are clean, but the beds could be softer. The lobby and ammeneties are top notch.

hotel was very nice our room was not cleaned Friday or Saturday we requested it be cleaned Saturday afternoon when we left for the afternoon but it wasn't there was a sign on the room adjoining ours that hung their do not disturb sign but that should not have affected our room. someone did come in and take away towels but did not bring fresh ones .

Very good service with an excellent staff and modern rooms right in the heart of downtown. A simple choice.

Drinks and a late dinner at Old Burdick's in the Radisson. Highly recommended, good drink selection and a nice variety on the food menu. A bit pricey but good overall.

Zazios is a great experience and the food & drinks are awesome, but it is quite expensive. +$50/person!

Food at Old Burdicks was exceptional. Food was fresh and the PB & JJ burger was great.

The hotel is located within walking distance of many great places to eat.

We came here to stay one night with the AirZoo membership discount for our sons state testing. We were given a room on the 9th floor and a nice lounge. The rooms are spacious and very comfy. Just missing a microwave for the late night popcorn. If given the opportunity to stay again we would love too. It is pricey but there are so many places to see and things to do downtown that for a quiet room and a bit of luxury it s worth it.

Went to the Radisson as part of new years fest, good experience and location

Staff was friendly, and the food from burdicks was good.

The Radisson is considered by all to be Kalamazoo's finest hotel. There's lots of positives. The new Starbucks inside is gorgeous! Rooms are clean and beds are comfy. They loose a star with me for the pool area, which is dimly lit, loud, and very slippery tile covers the whole floor. It would be nice to have even just a path through with grip tape or matts for people who need extra care (elderly guests or small children). Every child under 10 slipped at least once while we were there.
But it's a great place to stay. Good breakfast options (self-pay). Hot tub, sauna, salon and spa onsite.... And, unless you're looking at bed and breakfast options, it's a no-brainer to check in here.

Loved everything about this hotel. Clean, updated room. Great location. Friendly staff. Good restaurants within building.

Awesome location with great walk-ability to the nearby pedestrian mall and surrounding breweries. Lobby and room were clean and recently updated. Easy access from the secure parking garage. Recommended.

I was there for a conference and did not stay here but the hotel staff was phenomenal. They were very helpful with restaurants to the parking garage.

The Radisson was aesthetically nice . The rooms are adequate could have been cleaner, the hallway hadn't been swept since we arrive on Friday there were cracker crumbs on the same spot in hallway the hole weekend. The elevators are extremely small and slow for a large group, and at a 100% capacity.l The meals well you can get better at a Coney Island much better. I would not pay the money to stay there on my own but I was at a great conference and I would encourage them not to go back.

Is the only place to welcome guest from outside Kalamazoo

Staff was friendly, room was nice, parking was a ripoff and charged the wrong amount though.

I attended the baby and family expo. It was a wonderful event in a stunning location. It was spacious, even through crowds and the staff was very friendly and helpful.

The place is super classy and the staff are definitely helpful, makes you feel worth a lot

Convenient location, plenty of shops within the building itself, and a breakfast buffet that makes early mornings worth it. Decently priced for the amenities and location.

Review just for the bar: Nice drink specials and friendly staff.

Are at Old Burdock's with a party of 8 with good food and drinks and great service.

My all time favorite Breakfest place in Kalamazoo! I enjoy the service and food. Always welcoming and such lovely smiles on everyone's face!

The hotel is very nice and all the workers are friendly. Easy check in. Parking included with room. Good location close to hospital. Staff was very accommodating

To anyone that may not know this fact here is some music background for you not only is this hotel great but is also where Bobby Hatfield of the righteous brothers died of a cocaine fueled heart attack..

Stayed overnight and caught a morning flight out of Kalamazoo airport. Everything was great and the shuttle got us there with on time.

The room was good. The staff even better. I enjoyed myself at this hotel more than I have in years at any hotel and I was there less than 12 hours.

For as small as downtown Kalamazoo really is, it's great to have Radissom Plaza as it is sort of a de facto town square with all of its restaurants, shops, and amenities. The facilities are top notch and at least two of the restaurants are pretty good.

Location is nice, right downtiwn and with walking distance to a lot of bars and restaurants. The restaurants with in the hotel are also pretty good, albeit a little pricey.

The rooms are newly renovated (last 5 years probably) and are very accomodating. Fridge in the room, flat screen TV, plugs everywhere.
The location is great too, awesome restaurants too, can seat a large party quickly.

We went to Old Burdock's and had food and drinks. Enjoyable experience.

Dinner at Zazzio's was amazing. We sat at the chef's table. The food an entertainment was second to none.

The property was very large and had a wide range of amenities inside. There was a variety of shopping and restaurants inside and a huge amount of meeting space. All of the staff was very friendly and helpful I made it very easy to find my way through the hotel. The rooms were very accommodating and comfortable. It was a great location for our training session.

Great location amenities staff everything and a reasonable price

Housed conference participants and had a dinner meeting the night before the conference. Food was good but the room was too small, seems like they overbooked the conference rooms despite a reservation. Service was good but hotel rooms seemed small. "Private" floor hospitality room was nice.

Right downtown on the mall street it is a short walk to stores museums and night life. The hotel has great restaurants, a large pool and comfortable rooms.

Location is great. Good restaurants and activities available in the building.

I went to do need at Burdicks, great food and fantastic service. I tried the butter burger (amazing) and my fiance had some shrimp and veggie bowl that was big enough for dinner that night and plenty of lunch the next day. If you haven't been, give it a shot.

Stayed last weekend. The staff was great and room was clean. The room had a nice view of downtown. The hotel is in a great spot and nice to have Starbucks downstairs. We will be staying again!
