My husband went for a conference last week to the Radisson in Kalamazoo. From the outside it was lovely. But, that is where "lovely" ended. His room (which cost $129 per night) was postage stamp sized. It had a shower that had been jerry rigged, and didn't work properly. The water was so filled with softener it was salty to the taste. The room was so "on the cheap" they didn't even have a microwave. The restaurants were insanely expensive! When the conference ended his boss found bed bugs in her things, and immediately told the staff. They had to heat treat all of her things; delaying their departure by hours. They didn't, at that time, say they believed it WAS bed bugs, though. When he arrived home we received a call stating she had just been informed they WERE in fact bed bugs! Uugh! We had to launder all of his things straight out of the suitcase, and dispose of our suitcase. They look good from the outside, but not so much from the inside. All flash with no substance. I just feel badly for all the others who have left there carrying "little travelers" all over the state of Michigan. Not pleased! :(

Very nice hotel, basically can stay right at the hotel for meetings or conferences and have plenty of food and drinking options. Breakfast place was very quite good, bar had great food including vegan burger options!

Would stay here in the future. Stayed for a conference, plenty of bathrooms, escalators to several floors, nice breakfast place and bar &grill on site. Makes it super convenient to not need to leave the hotel for any reason on a quick trip (especially when it's rather cold outside). Check in was a breeze, rooms were kept very clean and comfortable. Bed was really nice to sleep in.

This hotel was great for a 2 night stay for a wedding. Staff were friendly and the hotel itself has lots of shops and places to eat, including a Starbucks. My only negative was it's a little outdated so rooms were not amazing but it was clean and comfortable. Would definitely stay here again.

Decent, clean rooms. I had a king sized bed and all the standard hotel stuff (desk, chairs, iron, etc). The complimentary water was nice.

I also watched fireworks from the hotel restaurant, the Kitchen. $25 per person for food and drinks, plus access to a "special viewing area". It was great. They set off the fireworks right across the river.

Pricy (overnight, meals, etc) Beds hard, walls thin (heard next door neighbor sneeze), weird bed side lamps (just odd! ) Clean and neat Half the staff i met were incredibly kind, helpful, and nice (others really weren't)

I will be attending a 2 day conference at the Radisson & am temporarily legally handicapped due to recent knee replacement surgery. $30 a day for valet parking! If I could walk well enough to use the ramp I would. Highway robbery!

Was at old burdicks. The waiter we had was not very attentive, took awhile to get our drinks and just waited at a server station for a long time before coming to take our order. Also they now use a at the table system for checks. However you can't actually see a detailed bill so it was hard to know if it was correct.

I had my annual leadership conference at the Radisson yesterday. We spent our time in the ballroom, which has decent seating for 500 people. I will applaud the catering staff. They were very good at clearing dishes regularly. And there was never a lack for beverages at my table either. The lunch buffet was great. A good variety of options for all. My only criticism would be the setup of the afternoon snack tables, they were circular and caused for major delays, making many people late for the last section of the conference. Beyond that, the accommodations were nice and I would recommend this for any sort of business conference or meeting.

Been here a few times but we recently stayed here for a night out away from our baby. This hotel is beautiful with several nice options for dining (besides Burdicks, that place has the worst service of any place I've ever been to in my entire life). Also right in the heart of downtown where there are great places to visit and also dine & drink at. We did have a couple issues with our stay this time but the manager took care of them to my satisfaction.

Great location in downtown Kalamazoo. The rooms were nice and clean. Parking is across the street in the parking deck kinda expensive though 18 bucks overnight. The hotel is also a lot larger than you expect I can see some people getting lost in there. Also the floors with rooms on them require you swipe a room key which is kinda annoying.

When staying in Kalamazoo, you cannot be at a better hotel. Central downtown location, in the heart of all the nightlife activity and all the qualities and care you expect from the Radisson group. The staff goes the extra mile and the hotel has all the amenities you could ask for. Great for hosting large groups as well. You couldn't ask for a better hotel for someone staying in Kalamazoo.

They double charged us for a room, claiming that it was a no-show. They had misspelled the name at check in so they claimed that the original booking didn't show up because there was nobody by that name. They said eventually that they would credit us (hasn't happened yet) but that they didn't feel they had to, since it was a no-show. It was not a no-show!

I really enjoyed my experience with the Radisson. Staff were professional and courteous and I was pleasantly surprised that they could accommodate my need to utilize a lactation room during my lunch break of a work conference. All facilities were clean and esthetically pleasing. Will definitely return in the future!
