The hotel needs upgrades. There was no hot water Saturday morning and everyone nearly froze taking showers. The hotel did compensate on our bill but we later found out that different people received different compensation with no basis.

From check in to check out, I had an excellent experience. The self park across the street was very convenient. We were upgraded rooms and given free drink vouchers upon arrival. Staff was personable and willing to go above and beyond to help out in any way they could. The hotel lobby, restaurants, and rooms were all very clean/well-kept. A great experience overall, would highly recommend to anyone looking to stay in Kalamazoo

I'm not a picky client but I stay in 20-25 hotels a year and this is the first time I've ever wanted to post a critical review.

- Only one person on the desk at 6:00pm, peak check-in time. Long, long line.
- No hot water in the morning. Front desk claimed that it "only down for 15 minutes" but every member of our 21 person party had the same problem - I can't believe that e all tried to shower at the same time.
- Only one person on the desk at 7:30am, peak check-out time and that poor woman was also having to manually dial all the wake up calls. Long, long line.
- 20 minutes to get my car back out of valet, which as only across the street.

Can't recommend it.

I was attending a professional event hosted in the ball room. The production was excellent. Food was also catered by The Radisson. Very diverse options were available, and all was quite delicious

I was a guest at the Radisson Plaza in Kalamazoo over the weekend. When I arrived I was asked if I wanted to park in the structure across the street or valet. I ended up having to pay for parking. Ok, fine whatever. The room was ok, nothing special but the pillows were not comfortable. On Sunday I asked the hotel staff at the front desk for a shampoo, conditioner and two packets of the brew in the room coffee. These are all left in the room, but my husband used them the night before. This was at about 9:00 a.m. The woman Alexandra was rude and said that they would be sent up to my room I asked her well don't you want my room number she said yes. She seemed more concerned with chit chatting with the women next to her. We checked out at noon and I never got anything from housekeeping! No shampoo, no conditioner, no coffee. Just plain rude! I will not be using the Radisson for anything. Thanks for letting me go out with dirty hair and not feeling comfortable on Mother's Day!!! Oh I will say that I received a call from a woman saying she was in charge of housekeeping and sorry about that, this was an hour after we left the hotel.

Upon checking in the valet guy was very friendly, inviting and welcoming. To my surprise after reading reviews here checkin was a breeze. The clerk was welcoming and knowledge about all the hotel amenities. Truly enjoyed my stay here. My only concern was the bathtub having no non slip resistance on the bottom. Showering was somewhat frightening. Thankful I did not fall.

The rooms are amazing, the service is super friendly, and there's a ton of options within walking distance for food, including places right within the hotel! The fitness center and pool area are well kept and good size with friendly staff, and there's easy access to the parking garage.

I have been here mostly for conferences and to use the amazing restaurants. I love how this hotel brings a touch of "futuristic" look to Kalamazoo and the quality of the services provided in the business located in there. I would love to spend a night here...maybe some time soon. I ll come back and post my feedback when I do.

Five-star hotel in downtown Kalamazoo with all the amenities within walking distance. In 2017 I organized an international conference at WMU, and the Radisson was one of the hotels offering reductions. I must say the negotiation was not easy and implied a financial risk, but it worked out well in the end. Front desk and airport-shuttle service friendly and reliable. I am not fond of its futuristic architectural style, but one learns to live with it.

I attended a wedding here 4/22/17. Late on a Saturday night I discovered bed bugs in my room (754), a double queen. I was given the only available room (925), a single king, and received half off my stay. I was told to leave all of my clothing in the infested room and housekeeping would launder it all and have it for me in the morning. Great! Except that didn't happen. I go to the front desk and ask for my laundry at the agreed upon time and it was no where to be found. After about a half hour of searching, they had discovered all my laundry was still left untouched in the infested room. They apologized and bagged the clothing and gave it to me in an unsealed bag. This has caused a major hassle for my family and a ton of work on my part on what should have been a relaxing rest of the weekend.

This is a beautiful hotel, we did not have a good experience here (only due to being surrounded by teenagers) the management really made the situation right for us. We would stay again.
