Burdicks is a great restaurant for group events as one of the largest downtown
Burdicks has a breakfast buffet inside that is amazing and fair priced.
This place is expensive and when you ask for help they act like you are bothering them.
This event was great. I enjoyed the video boards with the classes out side the doors of each class. The traffic of the conference inside the building was very crowded & the bathroom lines were super long. The chairs were somewhat uncomfortable for the hours we had to sit in them. Overall, it was a good conference just a bit congested.
Radisson Hotel is got a lot of nice things going for it the only thing is it's expensive if you got the money it's going to be a nice hotel to stay at very comfortable
The room was modern, spacious, and had easy convenience to the entertainment district. Several places we're within walking distance, but there are also restaurants and shopping located within the Radisson. It's easy to find and a parking structure is located across the street.
Had dinner and drinks with a large wedding party, the service was decent. The grilled chicken nachos were very good.
Really nice hotel in downtown Kalamazoo with great facilities for having conferences. Parking is off site across the street in a pay to park ramp though. Lots of construction on the roads in the area currently.
Really good location downtown, was a little disappointed about the pool area, located downstairs in a spa area, closes at 10, and you cannot take beverages in with you.
The Radisson has always been a desirable place to stay or to go to an event at. I was invited by a friend to attend part of an event at the Radisson. There were speakers and fun activities to do. The pool area is very nice. There is adequate space for many guests to occupy the pool. There is also a waterfall area in the pool which makes the pool area loud. The hot tub is also fairly larger than a normal size. The room that we stayed in was two queen beds and it had space for chairs and a large dresser. It was large enough for the four people staying. The location is good for the hotel. Service is great, if you need to go to your car in the parking garage one of the staff will personally walk you to your car day or night. One complaint about the hotel would be that the elevators are slow and very small, but overall a great place to stay.
Travis and his team were ABSOLUTELY AMAZING! Definitely 5 star customer service. Hats off to Ally, Chelsea, Kennedy, and Derek for making this a Christmas to remember. Definitely looking forward to seeing you guys next year- KEEP ROCKIN.
Was below my expectations for the 560.00 that we had to pay for 2 nights with check in after 2pm. No visible staff, just a phone that you have to call if you needed to talk to someone. The rooms was standard and the bathroom was very small. A waste of time and money. Do not waste your time staying there.
Nice enough place. Layout is a bit funky and parking system isn't the most intuitive if you aren't staying overnight.
The Radisson is a very nice hotel. They have always delivered a quality experience. It's in a perfect location in downtown Kalamazoo. I definitely try to stay here when possible.
Beautiful hotel in a great part of downtown, so many things to do within a very short walk. Business center computers were above average, beds very comfy, a/c in the room was able to keep up with summer heat and sun.
Chef's Table at Zazios was excellent! Wonderful event for my wife's birthday. Very interactive, great personality, incredible food and drinks.
The Radisson was a very nice hotel and obviously since it's the middle of downtown you have to Valet Park which is fine it's to be expected. The hotel was very nice and the beds were super comfortable and everything was very clean. They have a total of 4 restaurants in the hotel so you can always find something to eat no matter if you're a foodie, a vegan, or eating paleo there is something for everyone.
The room was comfortable and I was able to take advantage of the fitness facilities. I just wish I had thought to bring my swimsuit. That pool with the waterfall looked like a lot of fun!
Awesome downtown hotel. Lots of little shops and restaurants in the lobby area. Awesome breakfast as well (not complimentary). The area around the hotel looks alittle run down but has charm. Extremely helpful staff and good fast internet.
Wonderful Hotel and staff. It just so happens to have a Pokestop nearby!
Very nice place rooms were very nice and clean. Can't say much for the loud drunk people next door that kept us up most of the night. Even with my ear plugs in I still heard them. And at that price never again
The rooms are a bit dated, the cost is high, but the service was good, the location is great and the views are pretty good.
Comfortable and easily the best hotel in kzoo.
Expensive for what you get. Nice restaurants located within the building and conveniently located nearby to some cool strip of small businesses and shops.
I've only been there a few times but have not stayed there. Employees seem nice and friendly
All their conference rooms are very nice and their employees are very professional and eager to help.
easy access with plenty of parking... there are a few places to visit and we went to zazios specifically
The Radisson building helps downtown Kalamazoo look much better. Burdick's inside has some of the slowest service in town.
Went to see about wedding venue and the information was great definitely going to be having our wedding there
Great location for downtown walking. Good facility, clean, friendly staff. Offered upgrades to concierge level and very early check in. Overall great experience.
Beautiful clean very Hospitable Comfortable
Will go back again
Horrible customer service by management. Beautiful hotel and room. I have never been treated so rudely. I was embarrassed for my family visiting.
Clean room, nice staff and good food. (At sports bar restaurant)
Went to the restaurant "Breakfast at Burdicks" on the 2nd floor. Amazing breakfast buffet and top notch service
Good service. Pricey parking. Improved since two years ago.
Finest hotel in all of Kalamazoo. None can compare in terms of the quality of the rooms and the professionalism of the concierge.
The server was great, but we were told the bar was out of a specific beer then saw that the same beer was brought out for other guests. We had to address the matter with management as to why they were holding products for future guests.
Everyone was very friendly and helpful. Our room was very clean and comfortable. The restaurants were also very good.
The food at Burdicks is always good! I love this place.
Lobby, restaurants etc were very nice. Actuall hotel rooms were small, older, and just okay...for the price.
EDIT: In response to negative reviews here and elsewhere, a Radisson manager got in touch with me. He found my coat and returned it to me. (Free of charge, although I offered to pay for shipping. Leaving it there was, after all, my fault.) I upped the review to 3 stars because a) I had to resort to social media to get any action on their part, but b) the Radisson is a nice hotel, overall.
ORIGINAL REVIEW:
Very disappointed with my stay at the Radisson.
I accidentally left behind a jacket, and the Radisson has done nothing to help me get it back. I understand that it's my fault for leaving it. But they are in the hospitality business, and I would hope that keeping their guests and guests' property safe is their #1 priority. Clearly, the Radisson does not care about guests' property.
If you check Facebook, someone there has left a review with the EXACT same problem. (That review is currently the top review.) There's clearly a problem with theft at this hotel.
I come to Kalamazoo every year for a conference. If you're visiting for the International Congress on Medieval Studies, please consider staying elsewhere. Especially if you want your valuables to be secure.
Stayed overnight for work. Beautiful hotel, great restaurants and service was excellent.
Perfect hotel for a business stay. Hot bar for breakfast was very accommodating. The fitness center had free weights, bars and plates, and a sauna!! The room was very clean and obviously well-maintained. Will definitely stay here again next time I travel
Was there for burdicks at breakfast with coworker great place
Came to this hotel to meet family for lunch. Sat and chatted in the lobby for a while then ate at Burdick's.
Stayed there for one night. No problems, great service.
Great area, nice rooms, friendly staff. Good for an event.
I went to the Radisson for a work function and everything was great.
Came in on a Sunday night and was seated right away at the diner inside. Good food and great atmosphere.
