Excellent location and very well maintained resort worth going once in lifetime

Stayed here for couple of days. It was wonderful. Complimentary breakfast was excellent. Lunch was avg. The seafood cuisines were an absolute delight.

Being Corona time, we got a good discount in booking at Zuri Kumarakom stay. Management is so friendly and food is just wonderful. Number of guests were so less in the hotel and it was a complete holiday at kumarakom.

We took a day pass, and the amenities and food were fine, if you want to have fun make sure you have good company.

Best resort I have been in. private villa with private swimming pool and the lake in front if you. So nice. U think one day is not enough. 2 days is good.

I loved this place. Situated near backwaters. Must must go and stay there. Some experience can be only felt, they cant be written down..

good resorts in kumarakom and all the rooms have a very good view of the back water. some rooms have private pools. I like the service of staff. the one point I disliked is the road or connectivity to the resort from the main road it is really very bad condition. but I really love the place

The rooms are good and staff is super courteous 5 stars for them, the buffet has nothing to boast about and specifically for me my AC in the room was not working, the unit looks like an outdated system, the property is good to spend a day

The ambience, landscaping and the absolutely placid locale is wonderful. The property is huge. You can laze around all day (beware of the famed heat and humidity, though).
However, the food leaves you thoroughly disappointed.
With its hefty price tag, go to the Zuri only if you want to unwind and do nothing else... And that nothing else includes eating.

Best place in Kerala

A beautiful resort with lush greenery all around.The resort is located on the lakeside and even has the water running through it.Tall coconut trees,and a variety of tropical trees make this place a haven for beautiful birds .The resort is spread over a large area and the cottages are beautifully built around the water amidst the green giving it a rustic feel. .The villas have a lake view. The resort provides facilities for a lot of activities like fishing, bamboo rafting,paddle boats and even a shikara ride on the lake.One can can even enjoy the sunset on the lake from the resort.
We stayed in the cottages which had spacious rooms with a sit out area The bathrooms were wonderful, very large with an amazing garden shower.
The food was good ,but there is scope for improvement.The staff were very courteous and polite.
However the room floors need urgent renovation as they seem worn out and discoloured.Considering the pricing this is definitely a drawback as it gives a shabby look.

Awesome experience, the whole hotel is one with the natural beauty of Kerala backwaters

The best here is certainly found. All very ethnic and cared for even in the furnishings. Helpful and very kind staff. Try the SPA, not cheap, but very professional.

South India never disappoints you when it is about culture, nature, greenery and hospitality.

Kerala is no exception to this statement and this luxurious hotel just confirms it.

Right from the pick up at the airport, welcome at reception, allotment of rooms, arrangement of houseboat rides, buffet lunches, room cleaning, etc... everything was a 10/10.

The property being located adjacent to the backwaters, offers spectacular views as well. The rooms are well designed, with some of them having open to sky bathing shower arrangement, private pools. etc.

The spa services offer you AUTHENTIC AYURVEDIC massage therapies. Do try them out. I did and was 200% rejuvenated!

All in all a good stay and though pricey, it is definitely worth every penny you spend here.

From the resorts of Kerala to the lovely and well-appointed lake there is a central resort and rooms overlooking the lake

The best days of my life I spent in the resort, visit me

Pizza was so hard and over baked base with a thin base like Pappad.
Chocolate milk shake was loose and very diluted. No or little richness of chocolate in it.
French fries given as complimentary was fine.
Coffee was okay.
Fish fingers was so little in quantity for Rs 400 and was like 6 poppins pieces.
The interior design and layout is worthy and excellent.
There was no crowd expect few customers post new year period.
Water body gave a nice view but the pedal boat weren't in good condition to be sat or ridden.

I stayed in The Zuri during the Pujas Holidays in October 2018. We were a group of four families.

Awesome property with all rooms lagoon facing. Landscaping and architecture is splendid! Staffs are most cordial and their welcome was mind blowing!

We enjoyed amenities and services like paddle boat, rafting, cycling, fishing, swimming pool, steam bath, sauna etc which were free.

One thing not to miss is the sunset view with complimentary tea/coffee! The view of house boats in the backdrop of setting sun is really fantabulous!

As the food (ala- carte) is expensive, we opted for buffet option for lunch and dinner. Buffet spread is decent. Mutton and beef dishes were really yum!

Areas to improve: Informed the manager about the need for in-room amenities like AC and TV which required service/ replacement. We were guaranteed about immediate service. (Not considering it a serious issue as we thoroughly enjoyed the stay and collected a life time of good memories!)

Aweome property. Excellent ambience. Only point of improvent is their banquet Hall which is quite small when compared to other major 5 star properties. Rooms are excellent and provides all the amenities. Overall a unique experience.

Very poor hotel not one good thing about it air con doesn't work shower very old very poor lighting system WiFi doesn't work TV got no remote or any channel you can watch just too many problems

Place is good. <br/>The service is really a concern.<br/>Completely unprofessional and does not care about the customers.<br/>Got a rotten apple in the room fruit pallette.<br/>Evn while you talk to the GM you would not get any response.
I have given a snap of the rotten apple I got from fruit platter in room. They were finding reasons to make it as our mistake as we checked on by noon and room was kept ready in morning. How can an apple get rotten in hours with a big hole.

Terribly small rooms for the prices charged. Service could be improved. Management has to focus on the finer details as there wasn't even a hairdryer in the bathroom.

Beautiful place. Just the weather plays spoilsport if it's hot. Also the rooms facing the internal lagoons are ok ok, the one towards the lake are nice. But the facilities are beautiful and so many and the staff sweet and friendly.

Serene,lush greenery,on the banks of the vembanad lake.It boasts of accommodation of every type from rooms to cottages to pool villas.
Centre of attraction is an infinity pool lined by three black elephants overlooking a beautiful bridge which looks out on to the lake.In the middle there is a small lagoon where you can paddle boat,fish.
It has a beautiful spa called maya and a fitness centre with trainer.
Food is good.spread is fair evenly balanced between veg and non veg options.desserts are contemporary
Overall a wonderful retreat for people who want to take a break from the rat race.

1. The reception tries any way to make you pay extra for your reservation.

2. The gecko is very much in my room, two gizzards, the balcony door, and the villa of wood, and with the feet it has become open from more than one place (the gecko inside).

3. After receiving the villas, they need an electric car, and they are often more than 10 minutes late to come.

4. The views inside the resort are very beautiful and interest is shown.

5. The restaurant is excellent.

6. I do not recommend visiting the area completely, as the house bot is the only activity in it and there are no services near the resort

Wonderful stay, great hospitality, clean and we'll maintained rooms....have beautiful lagoon inside the property joining the back waters where you can do a boating too. property is spread across 8 acres..they beautiful cottages pool villas deluxe and standard rooms...fud is quiet tasty and good I being pure vegetarian enjoyed food but quantity is by gud enough to suffice even two ppl. You also have swimming pool, Spa, Ampitheatre where in the evening cutural show is put up, you can also do cycling here..
Must recommend if you at Kumarakom please try considering it for your stay. It's 3hrs road journey from Cochin Airport.

Beautiful location, awesome staff. Went during the kochi floods. Faced no issues.

The resort which reciprocates the architecture of Kerala ,is located in a picturesque location overlooking the Vembanad lake .It makes altogether a unique experience.

Amazing resort and the staff were really helpful also provided excellent service.
