My favorite church in Spartanburg. People have been friendly, they have so many great programs. They have a wonderful program for the street & homeless people. Also have an addiction service for anyone that will participate & take part. It meets every Friday evening & First Baptist sees that everyone has something to eatm
Friendly people. You get that Welcome feeling. Security is there. You won't be disappointed.
The word of God is always preached in a loving manner. Everyone is welcome.
They have an AWESOME GriefShare staff. Very attentive and loving.

Wonderful church you can fill the love for God. The Dr Wilton in truly a man of God. And the staff is just as wonderful. I live 2 hr away. And I plan of visiting more often. Love this house of God.
I have never been to First Baptist of Spartanburg until today by way of Tteevision during the service for Evangelist Billy Graham, yet I felt like I was right there and it truly was the service of the Lord. Pastor Donald Wilton if I were closer I'd definitely consider First Baptist Church for your message was simple that a baby could understand, it was heartfelt and full of the anointing of God. I pray that more and more people of God will grasp the anointing to do exactly what he has commanded us to do as his children, drawing others to the cross that life will go well with us here on earth making our Destination Heaven! God bless you, keep preaching the gospel there are millions who yet desire to hear, you have reached million's today! While born of the spirit of the Living God I remain humble and thank God that his message yet sets my soul on fire everytime I hear it! Peace and blessings First Baptist Church!

What an amazing preacher. I love to watch him on tv. We live in NC if we lived in SC we would be here. Awesome preaching and singing. You feel God all over you when watch this church on tv I can only imagine what it would be like actually being there.

Enjoy the messages from God's Word, which I can only be blessed through CDs, DVDs, or on social media. I also am thankful on how I am ministered to by those on staff there at First Baptist. May God continue to have His hand and continue to use His church there in Spartanburg.
I have not been able to come to this church do to my back. So every Sunday I watch the service on T.V..it brings me such joy to hear the music and to listen to Dr. Don Watson so I'm able to know that my GOD is always with me each day and will always hold me up and will never forsake.
Jesus said, "Judge ye not lest ye be judged." And so shall I abide with no response.
I wish the Pastor was more available and little more personal with the congregation the message was great but I think that the love expressed in the sermon needs a more hands on approach with the flock it had too much of a corporate feeling I think churches get so big it looses that personal touch
People here are very friendly. Their are lots of folks their to help you find your way. Two services. One at 9:30, one at 11:00. The 11 has great contemporary music. Super child care and parking lot attendants to help you find a place to park.
The most loving and caring grief share group you will ever know.
Love Dr. Wilton; he preaches from the Word. Love the Genesis band too.
