Nice place, tropical resort with a lovely feel, staff is too good, with a stay

Undoubtedly the best hotel in Kerala. Location is remote, calm and serene. We booked the pool villa facing the lake. They have really good Ayurvedic massage. The food was great throughout the stay. Overall an amazing experience.

Wonderful resort ... expensive, but lovely. Superb place to enjoy the backwaters of Kerala.

Beautiful experience to stay here. It has man made lagoon, which gets water from backwaters. The landscapes gives amazing feeling. There are two restaurants and a bar. Food & drinks are tasty but expensive. Additionally there is a spa, swimming pool, boat ride, cycling, yoga. The rooms show signs of wear & tear and require renovations.

Staff is good n very co-operative . Rooms are spacious n clean. Greenery is all around. View of Lake from balcony is awsome. Very relaxing n pleasant stay.

Ambience and peace is awesome. Cozy place for couples. Obviously one of the luxurious property in kumarakom. Restaurant does not give you a direct view of backwaters like you see in other premium properties around there. Altogether value for money.

Nice place. But ridiculously expensive. One meals cost approximately $30USD per person. Office and billing are not at all organized. We waited almost two hours in the lobby to settle our bills and checkout

Resort and it's spa is good. Speed boat ride organised by the resort is recommended. It's fun through the canals. And also at morning times. Buffet breakfast is tasty. But limited activities for the price. Worth for three days stay.

A very nice get away place.. Close to nature and has a fantastic view of the lake. Very nice set up and the staff very helpful. Good options available to eat. Fishing ,padel boat, cycling etc are amongst the facilities available here. Very environment friendly.. Perfect for a break from the daily schedule. Cost wise bit on the higher side...

Went here to dine at the restaurant. The ambiance is great. The staff wear mask and a face shield. All the precautions related to covid is taken care of.

The food was not that great. The pizza was over cooked and real hard. The fish fingers were undercooked. The chocolate milkshake was very diluted and had very less chocolate. The only thing good was the coffee. The prices were expensive.

Very Elegant resort. One of the best in Kumarakom. The view is unparalleled and the stay is cozy. The food is excellent. There is also a Complementary House boat ride in the evening.

we celebrated our friends birthday by visiting this place for lunch. we ordered sangria and local veg food to compliment the drinks.
we were the only ones that day in mid September so we got all the attention. The 'appam' and stew was good, the coconut rice good do with more coconut in it and the flavours were not exactly giving the fragrance expected. the malabar biryani was just about okay. considering the spices of Kerala are most sought after globally , this one turned out too bland and disappointing in taste. biryani is all about rice and spice isn't it? @foodkarma_ verdict : taste- 3/5, ambience -5/5, service -4/5, vfm -4/5

Good hotel to stay with family, don't miss ayurvedic spa

Service is below par. Make a request from your room for literally anything ranging from room cleaning to even in-room dining and be prepared to wait for half to one hour. Shockingly some senior staff was rude as well.

Good ambience, good territory, nice evening show. Very good SPA / ayurveda centre. Excellent food and grilled sea food. Just will never understand glass wall between bathroom and bedroom. Cute small bridges above the water. Very friendly staff. What else to say? It's difficult to choose between hotels in Kumarakom.

Wonderful resort , they have many activities free like cycling , fishing, boating in the lagoon, gym plus tee and snacks afternoon. Me and my family like this resort

The ambience of kumarokam is remarkable.

I initially booked 2 hotels because I was contemplating about the location and the surroundings as this is the first time my family and I were going to stay at a single resort for 11 days and I decided to opt for the Zuri. I am so glad that I chose The Zuri above the other famous resort because when our taxi pulled over the main entrance, my kids were totally shocked with excitement and every one of us was over the moon. We were taken aback with the size of the complex, the surroundings, the calmness, the views from every part of the resort, the people.......
Our welcome was very traditional and were served fresh coconut drink upon arrival.
We found each and every member of the staff, from the security guards to the GM of the resort very helpful, always smiling, taken the feedback and acted upon it straightaway to make our stay as comfortable as they possibly could!
The resort is very clean, loved the Body Temple in the middle of the Lagoon for people who wish to do Yoga early morning, bikes are provided if you want to go around the resort or walk if you prefer. Loved the pool and the views from the gym overlooking the pool, the lagoon and to the Lake!
Food wise - good selection for your breakfast - from continental to traditional Kerala food, freshly cooked Dosas, omelettes, parathas, juices, fruits, cakes. We had dinner and again you have the option of Menu or Buffets and we were not disappointed with the portions or the flavour, totally awesome food.
Every evening at 4:30pm complementary snacks and hot drinks were provided, freshly prepared in front of the guests.
Every night live entertainment was provided from traditional dance performance to live music.
There is a bar overlooking the Vembanad Lake however only guest over age 23 were allowed due to local rules. Good selection of drinks with happy hours everyday offering 2 for 1 drinks.
There is a lot to write about this place and I may not do enough justice, so to sum it up it was an amazing experience with unforgettable memories created at this resort. I cannot recommend this resort enough and to the staff as they made this place what it is, thanks to Somuyia, Lily, Sonia, Manoj. Boban Chef, Abin(s), Xavier, Dhanush, Sanker.....

The property is beautiful and cottages here have a great view of the lagoon and at the same time giving you your privacy. They have a lot of activities that you can enjoy in the evening along with a sunset Cruise ride in the adjoining lake.

Great for a break from your regular life and pamper your self

Definitely not 5star hotel rooms are too old and outdated need major renovation for the price they charge air conditioning not functioning properly the room was very hot and even after 2 hours after check inn same temperature inside the hotel looks good from outside only definitely not a 5 stars hotel that my travel agent booked for me

Next morning we go for breakfast and there was no facial tissue available to clean so we wiped my little 3 years old boys nose with table towel and Bobby the restaurant manager there he screams at us loud ask for tissue don't use the table towel so I asked him if they reuse the table towel without washing and the surprise response was they wash em only if they are dirty not expected from 5 star hotel no wonder they loss ther chain flag from Radisson and little while after I saw another person wiping there kid with table towel and he didn't say anything because they looked white couple rooms are very old not what you see in the pictures stay way from this place

Worst experience I ever had the staff were rude and the bathrooms not clean because there is a sewage smell in the shower.
Really I don't recommend this hotel.

Grt place..you can choose from options of room , villas or cottages. This is a spread out property over 18 acres. Situated adjacent to sea-the scenic beauty is mind blowing. Wonderful hospitality, good food and great atmosphere. I will recommend this to anybody and everybody

Best property of kumarakam, i stayed here for 2 days and I had one of the best experience of my life. They have a in house lake and there's spa named Mayo's spa is 2nd best in all over South India. It's worth a visit there just one problem with the atmosphere that in daytime its humid because its near the backwater of Allepy and Kumarakam canal, rest in evening it gets better and you can enjoy fishing and boating as well in their in house lake.

What a place... The best place to spend vacation time....
