Great hotel and staff , great activities and spa... Mosquito issue is there because of geography - hotel tried it's best to prevent - as no mosquito in rooms

I just had a one day stay at the Zuri but it was a wonderful experience. The property is spread over a big area on the shores of the Vembanad lake where different activities like pedal boating, bamboo rafting , fishing can be done. The entire property was beautiful with a lot of coconut and palm trees. The food quality and taste was excellent. The staff was very polite and friendly. The rooms were very clean and luxurious. Overall it was an awesome experience.

Resort view is good, staff is good, lagoon and the property also gets points. Food is very average and very limited options. Spa is also not so great. Overall an average experience for the cost.

Great place. It's beautiful, serene and relaxing. We took the grand presidential suite (pool villa) on both of our visits. It does feel slightly overpriced as the room by itself is mediocre by presidential suite standards.
The pool was great but the service was horrible. They literally took hours to deliver anything to the room. We asked for a buggy to go to the gym and they flat out refused, saying that no buggy is available; while there were buggies outside, serving other guests. How can you just say NO to your presidential suite guests, without offering any other solution? They are not equipped to deal with the guests once the place is reasonably crowded.

Thank God after several follow ups finally we were able to get through to your hotel person !!!

My effort started last week Wednesday through one Mr.Boban the renowned F&B manager of this hotel !!! as he was incompetent to give the details i asked for , the buck was transffered to Mr.Vishnu who is the sales manager of this hotel ... again no result !!!

Now finally i have contacted Mr.Jubin from reservation dept of this hotel ... hoping to get my things done without much delay !!!

The Resort and Room facilities are extraordinary.One Thing to keep in mind is that food here in restaurant is damn costly.So once we had a short visit and had 2 watermelon juices,which came in small glasses.It costed around 500 bucks.Othervic resort ambiance, customer services, For everything else I would give 5 star

Awesome place to spend a weekend or a couple of days, friendly staff and mouthwatering food; whether it be the breakfast buffet ( continental and Indian). Their Mexican food was also up to the mark. Very safe environment, we were a group of three females, but we felt so safe and at home. All the staff from the reception to the restaurant staff and cleaning staff were great. Would definitely go back. But I am giving four stars because it is slightly expensive. But for the exceptional service provided, I guess it is fine. Lastly, the rooms are exceptionally clean

A truly 5star resort thoughtfully created with all amenities. Is spread for a vast piece of land but still very well maintained. Has a wonderful spa which offers western as well as ayurvedic therapies. The gym is well equipped. There is a morning yoga session for the guests too. All the rooms have a waterfront and the view is simply amazing. Staff is quite helpful and hospitable. Zuri Kumarakom is certainly worth a stay.

We had our college farewell party there. It was really fun. The staffs there are really attentive. The view from there is really beautiful.

Awesome resort. Well maintained and very good service. I totally loved my start here.

we visited this place for lunch. ordered two red wine sangria and a white wine sangria for the birthday person. the fruits were freshly sliced thin and small . just right in flavour and good toast for the occasion. the food that we ordered was a salad followed by appam and stew for my friend, i ordered the coconut rice with local curry and the birthday man had malabar biryani. the crisps that accompanied were kerala pappad and the regular masala papad which were neatly fried and served. i recommend this place for the ambience and service especially. taste can be improved by going to the drawing board . keep it close to the real rather than tweak it. we are surely going to remember this place for more reason than one. we were the only three in the all day dining restaurant.

Beautifully designed, just the place for a special evening

Beautiful property with a private lagoon. They offer boating facilities in their lagoon free of charge , and the view from their pool and spa is beautiful as you can see the backwaters stretching on for long.

Great ambience and staff. Food was amazing as well, FYI stick/try the traditional cuisine as opposed to outlandish dishes and you're safe.

The resort is probably the largest in Kumarakom. Very well landscaped. Plenty sit outs. Lots of activities. Peaceful,serene and picturique. The Spa steam jacuzzi are very good. Great pool. Friendly staff. Clean linen and rooms. A classy bar with good ambience. Safe. Buggy to go around the resort. Man made beautiful lake in the resort with paddle boating,fishing,zipping. Classical music and dance recitals every evening at their amphitheatre.

Serene and nice. Loved the cycle rides withing the resort.

Very good views and breathtaking sunsets. Good ambience. But service is not good.

Very nice hotel situated in a very large lake. There are villas facing the lake and also bungalows facing an internal pond. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Food is good. Be sure to take a cruise on a house boat. The grounds are beautiful and the spa services are out of the world!

This resort at Kumarkom is a five star property. Location is beautiful.
There are Hotel rooms and cottages.
Cottages are of 2 types.. One with lagoon facing, and the other is lake facing with private pools.. Breakfast is complimentary and excellent.. Only there is limited choice in vegetarian lunch and dinner.. Another drawback is lack of Children 's play area and park. There is no activity for children..
They have one hour Boat cruise in the lake every evening for guests. Overall good experience, though a bit expensive. The staff is very polite and take good care of us.

This Resort is simply Amazing. Very good response from Staff. Upgraded my room from Standard to Cottage and its really good. Due to time constraint didn't get much time to explore the property but surely visit Once again. Thanks a lot for making my Stay memorable!!!!!!!!!!!

Great place to unwind and relax. The only complaint I have is that there is no kids area at all. Unfortuantely, we encountered rain in the evenings which made the pool inaccessible. My 4 year old daughter got bored with nothing to do in the resort. Some indoor games, play area, etc would be useful.

Other than that, the staff is super polite and friendly. The restaurant has good breakfast choices. The pool is clean and gorgeous. The villas are beautiful with the outdoor shower and rooms facing the lake.
Choices of restaurants outside the resort are limited. And alcohol availablity is an issue since it's government-run, so choices are limited.

You certainly get your money's worth at the Zuri Kumarakom!
The rooms were spacious and had great views either of the internal lagoon or the Vembanad lake.
The Lime restaurant, though slightly overpriced, served great food. The complimentary breakfast was hands down the best meal we had here. If you don't want to eat here, there are no options outside the resort unless you rent a car and go into the city.
The hotel staff was friendly and helpful but I got the feeling that the service could have been slightly better.

One of the most beautiful resorts I have visited, which is currently the best in Kumarakom, I lived in a villa swimming pool for three consecutive visits I do not know anything about the rooms, but the villa is excellent and the view of the swimming pool on the lake beautiful, poor food, breakfast mostly Indian local, either lunch and dinner were a choice between the buffet and demand from But the prices are quite expensive, the staff are excellent and very quick at your service, there is a gym overlooking the pool, there is a massage service and care for women also, provides free bicycles for guests at reception, the net is also free.

Very beautiful, quiet, and vast green spaces. I tried the rooms and villas with a swimming pool, and unfortunately the swimming pool does not have complete privacy due to the passage of boats.

There are no fittings other than those used for the devices in the room, but provide an electrical connection in the villa
Overall, an enjoyable and relaxing experience
The activities available are club, spa, bikes, boats of all kinds, basketball and billiards

Food at Liman resutrant was tasty (even though expensive).

They charge lots of money for extra facilities (such as an hour boating, wifi, lunch and dinner).
Value for money is really low.
The staff of the "special fish" restaurant is really pushy, they tried to convince us to have dinner there by lying to us about the Liman restaurant being closed.

Amazing place - the real value for money. We stayed in backwater ripples and wanted an option for dinner. Zuri was walking distance and so we took the walk. The Lime tree restaurant was a life saviour and the taste was impeccable. Truly a memorable experience with my wife and kid for dinner buffet.

Best place for meditation and yoga..10 presidential pool villas with lake view... #14 ayurvedic treatment rooms with 7 for Indian style ayurvedic treatment and 7 for European style ayurvedic treatment... Good service...
