Radisson Hotel & Suites Sydney Review

Awesome Hotel and Lovely staff.
Very nice location for business and tour trip. Amazing centralised location in CBD

Family of 5 recently spent 3 night here in a 2 bedroom apartment. Fantastic! The staff were exceptional and service was top notch. Thanks to all staff for making our stay just so welcoming and easy. We arrived late morning and were able to check in straight away. On our departure the staff were more than happy to stow our suitcases for us. Our room had one King in master bedroom and 2 singles in 2nd bedroom. 3rd child slept on the couch, but you can order a rollaway bed too. 2 bathrooms, spacious kitchen/dining and lounge. All you need for a family. Yes, the room had minor defects, as it is probably aging a little, but it wasn't anything to ruin our holiday. If you're in Sydney you're probably only in the room to sleep, so who cares!!! Very comfy beds, and good bathrooms/showers. We had breakfast included and it was great! Bacon, eggs to order, hot items, croissants etc. Coffee made to order, and a fantastic friendly breakfast room crew including the lovely Sarita, who made our coffees every day, and even remembered our preferences each morning. The location is great, minutes walk away from Darling Harbour and there is a children's park with many eating areas (including McDonalds) very close by towards Darling Harbour. We walked easily to Circular quay (about 30 minutes stroll). Queen Vic Building and Paddy's markets are also a short walk away. There is a coles at the World Centre, about 2 blocks away. So there you go - just book it!

Very good location, although a bit loud with all the light rail works going on... Rooms and staff were up to standard.

Nice venue and decent food. Endless supply of tea and coffee which is great!

Great location. 5-10 minute walk to great restaurants and shops at Darling Habour & Chinatown. Nice rooms but room not ready on arrival (hour late) and no compensation for the inconvenience.

Upgraded for free which was nice.. But interuppted by house keeping twice and the front desk even though we had requested a late check-out.

Comfortable beds ,clean and roomy suites. Excellent staff.

Got a big room for four.. but everything is dated and needs serious upgrades. There is a balcony but the table and chairs wete so dusty that i didn't even want to touch. The staffs were nice and kind, and the breakfast was not bad.

Such an old school hotel, I didn't find too much special about it. The customer service I can't comment on because I didn't see anyone there to help me... Inside looks like it hasn't been renovated since the 1960s

Great customer service all round. Well done! Friendly staff and clean facilities (albeit slightly on the older side for decor but now I'm just being a pain). A fantastic location, only comment is that there is no stopping out front due to the bike lanes but there is a taxi rank around the corner on Kent. Oh and my kitchen towel was wet too which was a bit off putting.

Hotel staff are very courteous and accomodating and rooms feel very homey.

The good:
Very near to CBD, train station and restaurants. Rooms are large. The suite I stayed in had a kitchen, living room with a TV and a bedroom with another TV. There is a games room in the ground floor.
Free (though limited) Foxtel channels available.
What I didn't like:
The bathroom taps are quite old. Water flow from the shower was too slow.
There were no power sockets to charge mobile phone in the living room or the bedroom. Needed to unplug a lamp plug to do it. Rooms were very old.

A bit of a grand dame, slightly crinkly round the edges, but staff were fabulous.

Excellent location near the Spanish Quarter, Chinatown, Circular Quay, and CBD. Very nicely appointed rooms with, kitchenette, large TVs, comfy beds, separate seating and desk areas. Many rooms also have a balcony.

Always clean, staff always helpful...the location is close enough to walk to great food and shopping as well as attractions.

Dreadful breakfast nothing like any other Radisson properties. Poor selection and low quality ingredients/preparation. Mediocre rooms that are absolutely not worth the cost.

Positive: Absolutely an amazing place to stay at with good buffet breakfast and the most comfortable bed, rollaway bed and pillows ever (really want to buy the same bed and pillow for home, I love it that much). Great location and views. Quick 5 minute walk from Museum Station so easy access to transport to Circular Quay and back to Domestic Airport station. Kitchen was great size, bedroom was awesome size with TV in the room. Lounge room was good size with a TV, coffee table/lamp and access to the balcony. Had a storage corner/room near the front door which could place luggage bags in. Staff provided an amazing service and could leave our bags with reception prior to room being available as we arrived a few hours early and could leave our bags with reception after checkout. Will be definitely staying here again and recommending the place to everyone.

Negatives: The cold tap washer in the bathroom sink was almost gone as had to use a dry towel to turn the tap off very tight.
The hot water system was slightly loud, however did not make it difficult to sleep. Good for white noise effect.

No working air condition in the room; terrible noise; broken water pipes, my friend had to leave in the middle of the night.

I have stayed at room 707 and really big and nice. All in goods conditions and clean. Staff very friendly.

Location is so strategic. Walking distance to cbd and darling harbour

Good location with large rooms. Dated furnishings and sparsely decorated. Kind of shabby. Kitchen had minimal dishes no glasses or cups

Happy staff. We asked for a room not on the roadfront but that is what we received. Had to change rooms. Great facilities and overall impressed

A very convenient location in the Sydney CBD, close to great Spanish cuisine.

Rooms are clean and very comfortable. The staff were very helpful also, with a courtesy call when we first arrived, to ensure we were settled and to sort out any concerns.

Rooms overlook a busy part of the city, so you will hear a bit of traffic and revelry noise in the evening, but not at a disruptive level.

Location and facilities are good. But the condition of the pot and the frypen is a little sad.

Facility might not be in the best state but the customer service is beyond comparable. First time for us at Radissons, booked it due to it's proximity to the ICC.
Of note, on site restaurant only serves breakfast and there's no room service for other meals either which is not made clear on the website. Wouldn't have mattered as much if we weren't travelling with a baby because there's endless food options in the vicinity.
Pool and spa need a major upgrade and clean.
All in all what the facility lacked in it's state it made up for in it's 'cutomer satisfaction garuntee' moto. Would've been a great place to return to if maintenance/upkeep could be looked into.

Great experience with this hotel. Stayed 3 days and it was very comfortable. Close to Chinatown,Darling Harbour, and not to far from the Cruise ship terminal. Easy access to the subway. Great staff to deal with too. Thank you!

This would have to be one of the noisiest hotels I have ever stayed at! The staff were lovely, especially Guna, but the room was a bit of a let-down - very old and a bit shabby.

Very friendly and polite staff. Cordial and efficient customer service. Excellent.

Hotel need updating. Not sure how it is a 4 star. Sauna wasn't working.

Clean, convenient with well sized rooms. Offers breakfast, but don't think room service covers dinner. Plenty of options available close by.

Great location, close to ICC. next door to BBQ king. Nice rooms, friendly staff. Always good for an overnight stay in Sydney. Will stay again.

What an old building(hard to say suites hotel)
There were various insects including cockroch

And elevator often had gone down (when it was supposed to going up though). Manage the building please!

This hotel is always high on my list of accommodation to recommend to my friends and family. Nice large rooms and quite attentive staff. Handy position for China Town and the Darling harbour district.

This hotel has a big room wherein inside has kitchen, bath tub, & balcony. Near at Museum station.

First time staying here. It was a spare of the moment to stay in the city tonight and so glad we picked the Radisson the room is amazing.

Friendly helpful staff. Clean room. Nice bathroom gels etc. lovely pool. Close to great eating places, city. Queen Vic building which I love to visit. Good kitchenette but no microwave or pans in room. Decor bit dated but that's minor point. Had a lovely stay. Definitely value for money & will return.

Rooms are below average for the price. No bar nor restaurant (only breakfast)

Great value if you book ahead right in darling harbour and lots of cheap eats nearby bit tricky to get to because of one way streets etc but they have valet parking as well

Large rooms with a kitchenette, great location for the ICC and Chinatown food.
Pool nice, gym a little small and shares hot chlorinated air with the pool.

Would stay there again.

Stayed here June 2014. Generous sized rooms which were clean and comfortable with lots of space for your clothes.
Good service - we arrived early well before check in and the hotel staff took our bags, called us as soon as the room was ready and had our bags waiting for us in the room when we returned - nice touch.
Near to Darling Harbour and not too far to the train station.
Indoor pool and gym a bonus and the breakfast was excellent.
My son really liked staying here so that always make any trip more pleasurable.

The hotel went above and beyond by supplying a roll away without me requesting one. Some noise from the road below but can't be helped. Very confortable hotel and great location
