Radisson Blu Hotel Luzern Review

Wonderful hotel nd spacious rooms with a lot of facilities staff is courteous nd it is in the maincity so everything is nearby chapal bridge nd famous church is on walking distance

The rooms are clean and nice. Central location. Good view.

It is close to Lucerne Station (2-3 minutes walk) and is a very satisfying place in the city of Lucerne. As a chain store, it is the place to do basic + @, so it is a good place for business people and families.
But the train station is next to you, so do not worry about sleeping (noise).

Good hotel in a good location, clean. Comfortable bed, by bus with COVID the hotel reception is empty, the bar is closed! Parking is 32 CHF per day a bit expensive for my taste! Breakfast is nothing fantastic with little choice.

Very elegant place, right aside from the train station, ideal for every trip in luzern. Wide range of meals for breakfast and good restaurant. Not exactly cheap but in line with swiss standards

Disappointed with the room A/C system. Did not cool the room eventhough the thermostat was set to the highest level. (No, the windows were not left open). Expected better from a Radisson.

I met a friend here. The hotel is very clean and has a nice modern/contemporary decor.

Very nice hotel. Good selection of breakfast. The gym is adequate. It has a separate yoga room with the view of the alps. Good location, very close to the train station and the lake.

Room did not match the description. According to the description, there is talk of a bathtub and two flat screens, etc. Very disappointing the whole thing ....... Right after arrival we complained about the room to the reception. Unfortunately, no other room is available because it is fully booked (hard to believe during Corona). When I checked out I told the receptionist what I thought of the whole thing. A possible credit was promised to me and I will be contacted about this. Heard nothing until today.

Pros:bang on next to the station...close to the Lucerne lake...breakfast had smoked salmon which was outstanding.rooms were classy and had the best amenities.best was the tv which had miracast and free WiFi.

The place is amazing and one of the best and best hotels I've been to! Excellent service and location are in the foothills

It's amazing what is still possible in tourism during the Covid 19 era. It starts with a warm welcome, followed by an impeccably prepared, very comfortable room. And then the reception is always there for your guests and ready to deal with one thing or the other immediately. This cannot be taken for granted during a global pandemic. All attention! We will be back!

Disappointing. Lots of tour groups. Room was poor with blocked drain and faulty light switch. Also had issues with reservation. Staff fairy friendly sorted out all the issues. The floors are concrete with the noise travelling from the room above very annoying

Great hotel. Very modern, clean, and close to the beautiful city center.

Excellent hotel with well appointed rooms. Location is great, just about 7 minutes walk to chapel bridge and old town. The hotel is directly across from the Lake and has a beautiful setting.

On the downside, the coffee provided in the room is awful (they should put Nespresso machines in every room - not just the suites!) and the parking is very limited (though that isn't the fault of the hotel - Lucerne is very anti-car!)

The Raddison Blu Lucerne was the perfect hotel for our 2 day getaway in Lucerne for one reason: Location, Location, Location! Literally a 5 minute walk from the main train station in Lucerne, this hotel was our life line the first night when we arrived tired and exhausted. The check in process was seamless with an upgrade to a lake facing room and the room was clean with ample space. They had American power adapters, which is always a plus to charge your electronics. The next morning we were able to wake up and do a short day trip because of how close the hotel was to the train station. Since the city is so small it is a reasonable distance from the city center and lake as well. The hotel is also extremely close to the Euroline pickup which was another plus on our trip.

A beautiful, upscale and clean place of residence that provides all amenities for the guest close to the center of Lucerne. The hotel service is fast and the staff is very helpful.

Rooms were clean and spacious. Staff very helpful. Unfortunately, there was no bread for breakfast but baked bread, which was once even frozen at 06:00 clock inside.

A great modern hotel on the outskirts of downtown Lucerne. It's an easy walk to the train station and about 20 minutes to the Altstadt. Breakfast is good though there seemed to have been more variety 2 years ago.

Nice spacious rooms in a good location . The hotel is within minutes from the train station and chapel bridge . The staff were very helpful and friendly n made our stay comfortable.

The hotel has way too many guests for the number of staff. The hygiene required during pandemic times cannot be maintained in this way. 4-star prices and garni service; it feels like the hotel is about to be wound up.

We stayed at the Radisson for one night.
Our room (337) made a good first impression, but the second one was disappointing. We found some piles of dust under the bed, three out of four glasses from the minibar were dirty! The water in the shower hardly drained off at all.

We spontaneously decided to have breakfast. In itself a nice buffet with nice dishes, but there were many empty plates to be found. Cherry tomatoes rolling under the buffet, nobody felt responsible for picking them up. Here you noticed the "zero-minded attitude" of the staff. Not very justified in terms of price.

Check-out and check-in rather well, no asking if everything was ok. Unfortunately it wasn't for the price.

Think more than three stars are definitely not possible for the price / performance system.
