Very nice hotel, within walking distance to the KKL. The breakfast buffet is very rich. And the restaurant invites you to delicious food. The wine list is rich. And if that's not enough, there are over 100 whiskey varieties at the bar.

Our room was spacious with a view of the mountains. Bath linens older. Everything worked in our room, but others on our tour had rooms with broken air conditioning, inoperative lighting, and under-sized duvets.
The cream of porcini mushroom soup was just what we needed after the walk in the cold autumn weather. Tasted great and warmed up great.

Everything is just right here. The reception was friendly and very competent, the room with a lake view on the 5th floor was great: beautiful and functional with everything you need. The fitness room and sauna were another highlight. We have already stayed at several Radisson Blue hotels, have never been disappointed and are always happy to book them.
I have lived in other cities in the hotel series. They are much better than this one. 1. Other hotels are simple and simple, 2. The location is small and the feet are small. 3. The bed is also quite comfortable. There is also a difference in management: the sheets are clean and clean.

Just across the shore from Lake Lucerne, close to the train station, it is convenient to buy shopping, the hotel room is spacious and comfortable. It is a pity that the high rate does not include breakfast!
Located at Lucerne lake, this hotel offer great environment where you can see the great view and panorama from hotel. You can do jogging by the lake. And for those who always look for rice and others asian food, there is a thai food restaurant across the hotel.
This hotel also located in a very strategical position, 5 minutes walking distance from the train station and the old town. Moreover some of their elite rooms are facing on the beautiful lake of the four cantons.

Nice room, at 7:30 in the morning you are woken up by the renovation work on the floor above, on the website there was nothing about the renovation work, for this reason no wellness was possible was also not on the website. Barmaid from 03/11/2018 11 p.m. very unfriendly, I ordered a round twice for 2 people, once received only one drink and the same thing during the round and wanted us to offset it. The beds were very comfortable. The view was amazing; it included the mountains, city, and lake. The ability to open the windows (larger than most standard doors) and get a breeze without worrying about anything flying out of the window was also nice. Really wish there had been firm-er pillows though. But nearly all of the hotels seem to be going to these pillows that they can make stand up in "fun and curious" ways so that they look like folded napkins. Problem with that is you have to fold them once or twice to get enough firmness for front or side sleepers. Did appreciate the free beer though.
Two rooms were booked one of them with a cot, unfortunately it was brought to the wrong room! Then a course was not brought in the evening meal and was simply skipped and things were booked in our room even though we had not ordered this. Unfortunately we were only taken seriously at the 3x so that it was only then corrected!
Great business hotel in lakeside location and just over a bridge to the old town. Room was clean, modern and comfortable. Very close to train station and bus terminal. We were travelling by car and parked in the underground car park with direct access to the hotel. Separate costs for car park.

Convinent location near train station and main scenery. Hotel staff were friendly and helpful when requested. Gym was adequate with machines and weights up to 10kg. Room was nicely sized.
I did not like the way the room was set up. The bathroom door opened up right next to the bed. And the glass door did not close all the way, so you had minimal privacy in the bathroom. And the shower head leaked and squirted. I would not choose to stay at this hotel again.
We did not stay in the hotel, only had a one-day seminar there. The equipment of the hotel is good. However, I found the buffet at noon well planned. Since not all participants could eat there at the same time, the food for the late was already very cold.
Top Class hotel. Luxury stay with awesome view to amazingly beautiful Lucern lake. In my second stay, I got lake facing room. It was awesome experience. Rooms are large, super clean.. Really 5+* rated.. highly recommended. Worth the above average rate.

Comfortable beds. The air conditioner didn't really cool the room and the refrigerator in the room didn't really get cold either. There was no bathtub, just a standing shower which is not ideal for children. There was a coffee machine in the room, but they didn't supply you with any coffee. The staff were extremely friendly and the hotel location was convenient. The breakfast was a choice of beverage, croissiant, and a meat and cheese tray. This was okay for me and my husband, but my kids hated it. We only got breakfast for one out of the three mornings for that reason.
Viking could do better after spoiling it's people on cruises with five star pampering. They got us to the hotel about 1030 am. We did a walking tour until about noon. About half our rooms were ready by 3 pm while most were not ready until well after 4 pm. Most of us decided to explore the town for 5+ hours until the room was ready. Unfortunately it was a 95 F heat wave so it wasn't a very pleasant hike through town. Nothing special about this place. I have yet to take a shower in a hotel room where I have not flooded the floor.
It's interesting how they end the tour with the cheese tour and your last meal is bread and potatoes.
We learned one thing about Europe: every thing is a sale. Everything. Nothing is free not even tap water. Can't even utilize a toilet without paying for it. This town lacks public restrooms and most of them were far from sanitary.

This is a great international chain hotel. Just next to Lucerne train station and 7 min walk to the old town. Very convenient and easy to walk around from this hotel.

As a conference venue, this location is very well suited. The proximity to the train station is ideal. The meeting rooms offer you what you need. The staff is friendly and courteous.

Even if I asked for a change of 1 sheet, I wouldn't change it. It seemed like the policy was not to go, so I asked him to change it about once every two days, but he only changed it once.
On a rainy day, I asked for a change because I wanted to sleep on a soft futon.
If the policy is not to change, it may have been stated that long-term stays offer discounts instead of replacing sheets and futons. If that's not the case, shouldn't we have to replace it immediately when we ask for it?
I was 2 years old, but they only gave me two towels, so I asked for more small towels, but it took an hour more to bring me three towels. This is a 4 star hotel, isn't it too much?

3 breakfast is like fried eggs, scrambled eggs and omelets, but the real staff's attitude pretends to be busy and everything they make is burned;
If you're pretending to be busy and you don't make it, but you're going to burn everything, serve with only scrambled eggs.

When I tell the lobby that I took the room key, I pulled out the card to save energy, so I took the card even if I turned on the air conditioner weakly.
Asians shouldn't even use air conditioners, right?

This just happened today! We booked a 2 night stay for our honeymoon in June as we passing thru Switzerland to France. Just to make to sure we made our booking 2 months prior in April and wrote a note to tell them it was our honeymoon. Upon reaching the reservation desk on Thursday 3.30pm in the afternoon we were told by a stony faced man that the hotel was over booked and he wouldn't be checking us in.
He then immediately said that he would book us an equilvant hotel somewhere else, his smirkness coupled with his devil may care attitude really was not in the least professional or borderline passable for customer service at any level.
Can you imagine no explanation no apologies? It was just we re over booked too bad but we re book you another hotel now please now get out of my face.
The lack of care or concern was obvious and we asked whether we could speak to some one in charge as we just wanted to know how this could have happened.
A lady which we assume was the duty manager (wouldn t give her card....said she run out?) tried to give us nice run around story about system errors and how they had to perform a system update which causes over-bookings. She also stated that apart from us she had turned away 4 other people with reservations and tomorrow she would be turning away another 8!
When we asked what was the basis on which people they turned away she said it was determined on the the length of their stay! We reminded her that we had booked two months in advance and had ample time to contact us prior.
But it didn t matter as apparently they have a so called Revenue & Reservations Manager who decides on a daily basis which reservations not to honor. When we asked her how he would make his decisions her explanation was that it was based on the duration of the stay of each incoming guests.
This is because I guess is based on the amount of revenue generated by each guest and fill capacity hotel. So don t bother if you reserve two months in advance they WILL OVER BOOK AND TURN AWAY SHORT STAYS.
When I asked the duty manager how would she feel if this had happened to her, her response was that it wouldn t be an issue to her. Which explains alot of their common management practices and attitudes downstreaming to staff when they believe its acceptable to treat guests like this.
We asked the duty manager if we could speak to the Revenue and Reservations Manager she said he had gone home and apparently so had the General Manager and we wouldn t be able to speak to either!
She did give us a the revenue and reservations manager business card and told us to email him if we weren't satisfied.
When I remarked to her that he wasn't a very good reservation manager she quickly assured us he was. I guess she meant in terms of fulfilling his other role of being a Revenue Manager
Its the first time I heard of such a policy and been treated so badly by hotel customer service. And ironically this is rated a 4 star hotel service. Radison Blu Lucerne thanks for spoiling our honeymoon.
