The hotel rooms are nice and comfortable, be warned the shower water temp goes from friged to boiling hot quickly. The view from our room was amazing. Food and drinks are a bit over priced and it is easy to run up a large tab. The hotel itself offers very little to do outside the hotel, the concierge is a third party vender. The pools are always at a good temp and the beach though crowded is nice. It's easy to walk to shops and restraunts in the area though many are expensive. The casino is relatively small and the floor manager can be very pushy, he yelled at my wife to move from the roulette table where she was sitting beside me rather than open a second table. It was a good stay and I fell in love with Aruba.

This is a good location. Direct access to the beach and if you walk across the street, there are tons of restaurants. I'm taking one star off due to how expensive food options at the hotel are. even for diamond members, you only get a food credit which we just ended up using at the coffee shop since it doesn't even cover breakfast. the good news is you can mitigate this cost by walking across the street to any number of decent restaurants. The other reason I'm only giving 4 stars is the process for reserving the spots on the beach. The drink service was good but the drinks themselves were hit and miss (even for the same drink) and the drink specials left something to be desired. compare this resort to those in say Mexico, and we could have gotten 2-3x as many drinks for the same amount of money.

A nice, classic hotel in Aruba, located on one of the most beautiful stretches of beach on the island.

The resort is well maintained and has its charm.

The rooms are partly renovated, but our room has a very old shower.

The pool area is very nice and the bars have very good drinks (milkyway)

The beach is very nice, perfect access to the sea.
Often very windy, this is part of Aruba and makes the temperature very bearable.

We ate outside the hotel every day, very large selection in the vicinity.

Very practical, the loungers by the pool and on the hotel beach can be reserved for the next day on site or via the Internet.

The casino is not worth mentioning as the surrounding hotels offer more.

Very nice, clean resort. The beach is beautiful. Restaurants are right across the street. Two huge pools with plenty of free poolside chairs. However, they do charge for cabanas. Overall, great stay!

Hotel property is open and accessed by the public (ie beach and beach accommodations). People that are not staying in the hotel use the amenities for free while guests of the hotel need to pay. Seems like some of these rules need to be updated.

It was pretty okay. Beach was fantastic, rooms were meh. The showers are anything but relaxing--they cycle back an forth between hot and cold. I had 3 rooms during my stay and all three had the issue. Location is pretty good.

My bathtub was grossly stained on arrival. They told me the tub is old and tgere is nothing they can do about it. You cannot get food to eat between 11pm and 5am. Room service will not bring silverware even though you just bought food from their restaurant without charging you $10 delivery charges. Got steak and they will not give steak knife to take to the room...they gave plastic silverware which of course cannot cut the steak! I could go on and on. Paying close to $400 a nite and getting that kind of crapy service is ridiculous! Although, I got some minimal credit compared to what I paid, personally I was greatly dissatisfied and disappointed with their service.

The property was nice, the rooms are horrible for a Hilton property though. Disappointing. The bathroom ceiling is no taller then 6'8", try putting your arms up to dry your hair and you will smash your knuckles. The shower itself is as if you are at a Motel 6. So blah. The floor of the bathroom is the smooth glossy tile so be careful when walking on it. Definitely not worth the price for it.

Best hotel hands down mainly due to the wonderful staff! The staff knew our names and gave us the best greeting everyday and made you feel like family. We felt like VIP the whole time. Thanks to our breakfast crew Albert, Lillian and the host Cecilia. I forget the gentleman's name at the bar on the hill we called him big man, and he was great and also took the time to get to know us. On my birthday when we went to dinner, the waiter overheard it was my birthday and they surprised us with a cake and came out singing to me. They really made our trip!! The hotel also had hand sanitizer stations everywhere since it's during the COVID pandemic. They even had everyone sanitize before going into a restaurant or gift shop. Water sports are right outside on the beach and the hotel even had days where we could kayak and stand up paddle boat for free. They even had a dive in movie one night at the pool. We will be back!

Great Hotel! We stayed in the Palm Beach Club room which offered complimentary breakfast. Afternoon tea and coffee and evening cocktails and appetizers! I didn t get the cooks name but she was always in great spirits and made delicious omelettes! The ladies there were awesome with great service! It was nice to be greeted by Matilda and Irma s smile every morning! Thanks ladies!! The pools were great and wonderful beachfront in walking distance to a ton of great shops and restaurants!!

Great Hilton property in Aruba. Great beach. Clean pools. Clean rooms - regular rooms are a tad small for 4. Next to many off-resort restaurants. Service is good and friendly. On-property dinner restaurant is overrated.

The resort was beautiful. The rooms were nice. Some issues but were addressed right away. We arrived late and the manager opened the little shop so we could grab a sandwich. My major issue was when we checked out. We asked for a late check out the night before. They said not a problem. At 10:50am I went down to arrange the rental car and when I went back upstairs all my things were sitting in the hall and the maid was stripping our room. Now this was at about 11a.m and check out was not till noon and we had been given late check out till 1pm. Then when looking at my bags they had been rummaged thru. My white towel was missing as was some of my snacks and soda. The front desk manager said that maybe she thought we left it for her but there was our medical bags, swimsuits, towels, shoes, snacks and soda to take to the beach. The things missing were not that big of a deal I just felt violated as 1. it was not even check out time and we were told we could have a late check out. Could you imagine if we had not come back so soon. Would our stuff still be sitting in the hall? I did make a report with security as the manager said I needed to but again it was not the items missing that were my big concern

Lovely beach and grounds, walking distance to loads of restaurants and shops. The coffee shop is convenient for breakfast without breaking the bank like the other onsite restaurants. The online palapa booking system worked fine. There were not many activities and I wished the evening entertainment and pool area were a bit more lively. The room was standard with a comfortable bed.

A very well situated hotel in Aruba, surrounded by excellent restaurants and bars, all very close. The sea dispenses comments. And the biggest attraction of the hotel is the Araras.

Fantastic place, absolutely gorgeous. Staff friendly, try to be accommodating.
Rooms nice, clean.
So why the 2 star rating? Well where to start.. technically, as a gold Hilton honors member, could have gotten an upgrade, but I purposely didn't -asked for ground floor accommodations, in person, on 3 separate occasions while visiting there, starting almost 10 weeks ahead of the stay. To my sad dismay, not only was the tower I asked for not available, ground floor certainly wasn't either.
So my 2 rooms were on the 2nd floor. No upgrade from that offered, as from there, does it make a difference? Well, yes.. could see the ocean if I was higher, since I had to get in the elevator anyway.
As I said, multiple visitor to the property, mainly before Hilton name change. Unfortunately, can't say I am a fan of the way Hilton has chosen to run this resort. An unbelievable restaurant right on the water, what a view! But can't be enjoyed for breakfast and dinner anymore because Hilton has chosen to only have it open for lunch. Bar by beach is similar closing by even 5pm some evening, with no live entertainment anymore. Drink prices have gone up by 40%, and happy hour might as well be a joke at $7.
So for a great view and price, highly recommend checking out the pier, has great ice cream place, and a restaurant called Bugaloe. Far better prices, did I mention on a pier...ocean view..full bar, entertainment.
You would think I had the staff at the Hilton, far from it. Bar staff and the restaurant are amazing. It's not their fault what management makes them do. Have known them all for years, wonderful hardworking people that go out of their way to do what they can for you. I will tip them, not Hilton.
As my last huge complaint, this will be my final stay here. I may visit the bar, but only to say hello.
Hard to believe maybe, but didn't complain much about the room situation, however, at checkout, ( 2 rooms, 1 week) asked to pay for some sort of pass for my 2 year old grandson and husband to use the pool for 3 extra days only, since he couldn't leave with his parents due to an ear infection, ( we were switching to a family home). Sofia, last name unknown by the front desk, but she is the only Sofia that apparently works there and is the pool and beach manager, couldn't bring herself to pull that off. That was in the past she said..
Guess so am I.
Aruba is beautiful and full of hotels, it's time for me to find another.

This hotel was the first "high rise" hotel in Aruba, then known as the Aruba Caribbean Hotel and Resort. It has always been a jewel on Aruba's beach and even though "old" it has been modernised a few times and is still considered a luxury resort. The restaurants are top quality and they have one of the best priced sunday brunches on the island. Highly recommended!

One of the best hotels in Aruba hands down. I have stayed at them all, this was my last spot to stay. I wish I had not waited to stay here last. Fresh water bottles provided in the room after amazing maid services each day. The beach faces due West, so the sunsets are amazing every day!! I watched one a little too long, been seeing spots lately. Wear sunglasses for the sunsets, you are pretty close to the equator in Aruba. Food at the resort is reasonably priced and large portions. I ate like a hog will there. Don t take the taxis out front, you are close to everything you need. Taxi drivers out front of the Hilton were empircally rude, which I found odd. The only TRUE downside to this entire resort was the casino staff. They were very unfriendly, often speaking in foreign languages to eachother and laughing at me. Especially this one heavier set male pit boss. I found it rude, as I have a bum leg that causes me to limp around. Playing Craps at the casino was a good time. We started winning so big that they didn t let us set the dice or loft throw. Given the game is entirely chance based, I found this weird. I have never seen someone skillfully throw the point. Given the statistics of dice, and the nature of their chaotic flight across 5+ft table onto a bouncy surface, I find it weird why they had these no set the dice or no loft throw rules and actively enforced them. The blackjack dealers were either silent or unfriendly. I tip my dealers regardless, just wish they would liven up. Blackjack here is autoshuffle, be weary, these machines could be rigged to favor the dealer. TLDR; I will return to the resort, but not to the casino.

We stayed early December on our honeymoon. Rooms very clean and comfortable. We had a balcony sunset view every evening. The pools were beautiful and access to the beach was a breeze. I highly recommend Hilton Aruba. We will definitely be back!

Great location in walking distance to a lot of restaurants and shops. Palapas to keep cool on the beach can be had for free if you go at 4PM to reserve for the next day (only the ones in the back are free....the ones closer to the water require a few to reserve). We went in June and it wasn't very crowded at all. Had room 1312 and it had a nice view of the pool and ocean, as week as the bar below with live music on the weekend. Sunset Grille restaurant was great...expensive but worth it. Only the apple pie was underwhelming, as it wasn't traditional apple pie like expected.

Just got back from a week in Aruba with my wife, two children and mother in law. What an incredible time, and what an incredible resort. I just can't say enough good things about the Hilton. Best beach front by far, great pools (well spread out), palapa and cabana rental...yes I paid, but it was worth it, rooms were very nice...good size and very comfy beds. Location is perfect as well...lots of shopping and dining right across the street. Go to the Hilton when in Aruba...you won't regret it!!

Hotel is clean and comfortable, rooms are beautiful, grounds and pools are lovely. During my stay, my wife suffered a medical emergency. Everyone, including housekeeping staff on the 6th floor, security, and front desk personnel couldn't have been nicer. Thank you all! The room was kept clean and comfortable for us, security transported us to and from the hospital, and Vicki at the front desk was concerned and helpful. We will certainly stay at this lovely hotel again on our next visit to this beautiful island.

Beautiful spot. Very clean and spacious. Close to shopping and local/large chain restaurants. The only thing I would improve is the daily activities to make is more engaging. Friendly staff.

The Hilton in Aruba is paradise! Right on the beach with a beautiful sunset every evening. Can rent the palapas for free as a hotel guest. 2 Separate pools to lounge at which was a great time. Rooms are large, clean, and comfortable bed with a lovely ocean view from the balcony. There are multiple activities offered every day which fills up your schedule. You can also book jeep safari tours through the hotel and those adventures are really a great time! The casino had a variety of tables and slot machines. Staff was helpful and friendly. Loved the food and beverages. AND its extremely peaceful. Wonderful people and just a relaxing experience overall.
