Nice grounds, layout, rooms, pools and beach access. Wish there were more shade in the pool area, unfortunately, one is kind of faced with the choice of paying for a palapa for shade or constant sun exposure.. Takes a little work to find shade, but certainly isn't a deal breaker. Pools are very nice.

Awesome hotel, beach and staff. Totally recommend for singles and families. Nicely located and close to lots of dining options. Staff was superb; rooms perfect with luxury bedding. Beach is powder sand and there is a great pier/bar for a great midday break (or after dinner). We will keep this one on our short list of favorites!!

Beautiful spot, and they've done brilliant renovations with lovely nods to the history of the property, even putting the original name "Aruba Caribbean" in the name of the place. Wonderful photos from the Aruba Caribbean era have been enlarged and mounted around the buildings.

Pools are nice, beach is nice. Overall facilities are good. Not sure if it was hotel or it is all of Aruba, but I did not feel as if staff was as helpful or pleasant as other places in Caribbean I have stayed. ATTN Casino Players-- they pay 6-5 on ALL BJ tables with just continuous auto shuffle at ALL tables, also only allow double odds on craps (no 3x, 4x, 5x.. May be like that on whole island though)... Also, casino staff is not the friendliest, do not go here for the casino as it isn't as nice as others on the island, they have big poker room though.. Other than that, go somewhere else to gamble

I stayed here when it was under Radisson management.
Great staff!
The rooms were nice, and the bed comfortable.
The garden / pool area is easily in the top 10 for the most beautiful spots on the island.
If you are looking to relax a little near the pool and the beach, you really cannot go wrong here.
If you plan to do a little bit of drinking, then buy some at the airport when you fly in. Island drinks are expensive.
I had a great time, and I do plan on staying at this hotel when I go back to Aruba.

Really disappointed to see staff aggressively move a family with small children away from an area where they were sitting on the sand. It s a public beach and they have no right to do that.

Lovely hotel, all the staff were wonderful including all the maids. The only thing I didn't like was after we've paid for everything as we checked out on our last day we were charged 6% Tax so it cost us an extra $400 dollars and there was nothing we could do about it

I absolutely loved our stay. My husband and I came to celebrate our 5th wedding anniversary in August. The weather was perfect, the location is perfect, the staff is pleasant and the food is great. It's also nearby to restaurants outside of the hotel grounds, as well as little shops all in walking distance. The outside strip really comes to life at night. Many of the restaurants outside do not open till about 5:30 for dinner but there are a few that open early.

The hotel staff all around were great but I have to give a special shout out to Carlos at the Sunset Grille where we went for dinner a few times. He went over and above our expectations , he was professional and made us feel like family, he treated us so very well and made our experience that much greater. Defiently ask for Carlos when you dine here, you won't regret it. Then Bridgette was our breakfast server at Laguna restaurant. She always had a smile on and was so very nice and sweet. Lastly, Erica over at Gilligans seafood shack was fantastic and such a pleasure to speak to as she served us our lunch. She told us about other great places to visit on the island and hooked us up with delicious drinks. The Hilton is great on its own but these three, Carlos, Bridgette and Erica made our stay so much better.

You can walk right to the beach from the hotel, or choose to relax by the pool. The rooms are nice too. I would say the bathroom is a little small as far as the shower goes though, however my hubby is kind of tall so it may be fine for the average size person. They had a happy hour spa treatment with discounted prices so we both also went and got a massage and we couldn't be more pleased with our entire experience. We even got to take a tour all around the island. We had an amazing time and would go back for sure!

One of the first hotels on Palm Beach in Aruba designed by architect Morris Lapidus is an upscale resort with a perfectly clean beach. Numerous great restaurants are across the hotel on the strip. Our favorite hangout on Palm Beach. Great sunsets for weddings and to meet nice people.

The beach is fantastic. They have an excellent pool area and the bar and restaurant areas were really nice and new. They had nice hammocks right by the beach and waiters to get you drinks. The staff was fantastic and went out of their way to help me find a lost cell phone. We got a couple of free drink coupons and some sort of free money deal for the on site casino. There's a small coffee shop at the front. The exercise room was reasonably sized by hotel standards. The rooms were a little dated, but clean and reasonably sized. Many had a balcony with some sort of beach view. Is stay again for the beach experience without question.

Great location, a bit outdated rooms. Close to the beach and to the bars and restaurants. Rooms on a smaller side, it seems like this hotel was built back in 1950. Gym is new and staff is friendly.

Very disappointed I gambled are the first 3 days they did not give me my promotion I was entitled to I was playing a machine for 3 days $1 every pull. The next day I did not realize they change the machine it was the same machine just changed the denominations so every time I pulled the level was $5 I lost a lot of money before I realized it because it was the same exact machine just the denomination they changed never went back the rest of the week

My family and I enjoyed a wonderful vacation at the Hilton. The location is really good and it was truly a comfortable stay. Special thank you to Guerlaine who kept our suite so lovely and clean.

I enjoyed my recent stay here! During COVID, they were on the ball with their cleaning and staff wearing face masks and hand sanitizers everywhere. The breakfast in the mornings was GREAT! Our server Danny was also excellent and the entire F&B staff at Sunset Grill! The bar staff like Ramon and Jean Pierre were also great drink makers. The room and the hotel grounds were immaculate and as the occupancy was low, the hotel was a relaxing stay. The hotel is near to great restaurant spots and the beach is amazing. A big thanks to Silvio, the bellman who helped me to close my suitcase, clearly I overpacked! Haha!

Hey to anyone reading this. first: where s the friendly welcoming when arriving everyone speaks highly about ?
Second : room directions poorly explained - result = getting lost at the resort ( apparently that s possible yes )
The whole building and room we re underconstruction wich I understand the inconvience when letting know first thing with booking. Now we paid for drilling and cunstructer workers .. Not okay for that amount of money. Then the battery key of the room was empty and we had to move to another room .. Besides all the long waiting and running up and down back and forward ... Also calling the reception .. Well no one ever picks up the damn phone Now we have a room with a view on the parking lot but we did paid extra for a view on a garden so ... Do we get money back ? Probably not .. Will we recommend hilton hotel Aruba to anyone? Good god no ! It was our first and last visit to hilton hotel in Aruba. Greetings Mrs Paulussen & Mnr Binnemans

I've been to 9 Caribbean Islands and this is one of the best hotels I've found. Usually in the Caribbean or you have a great location or you have a great beach. It's difficult to find both.
But the Hilton Aruba has one of the most extensive beaches, beautiful and swimmer-friendly, and a great location in the palm beach area. You walk outside from the hotel and you are in the middle of restaurants, bars, shops, etc. It's really fun at night. Again, such a great location is rare.

I also really like the swimming pools, the kids activities, the bird sanctuary and the food options are really good. I didn't get to use the Spa and gym but looked beautiful. This is a place I'd recommend.

Great hotel and in superb location. Rooms spacious and full of precious USB charging ports in the lamps. Iron and ironing board provided. They say there are 5 restaurant's, but they class Gilligan's beach bar twice, the breakfast bar and their Grille, couldn't find the 5th? The other one is a bar that serves the same fare as Gilligans. And it is definitely not what I would class as Hilton standard. Over priced junk food offered with the odd salad thrown in to make it look better. After 5 days you really find it hard to choose as you have already been through the menu! Make sure you have a male server in Gilligan's as some of the women are rude and argumentative, especially Rosa, she couldn't wait for you to leave. Brought our bill out 3 times whilst we were still eating! And then moaned that she had to redo it because we decided to have an ice lolly!? Then told my daughter she couldn't have cheesecake and ice cream as they don't do it. Yet 2 days earlier our server Eugemar had offered it to her. Spoke to him and he brought it out!? Top bloke! Made our visits to Gilligan's so much more enjoyable. If you are looking to book here, only do Bed and breakfast. Breakfast is actually pretty good. Try the smoothies and the omelettes. Yeda in breakfast bar makes the best eggs and they always come with a smile. Theo at breakfast is a font of information. Ask him anything as he knows all the bars and places to go.
If I came back to Aruba I would definitely not stay at the Hilton. Would try the RIU resort next door.

Hotel area is fine!
There are negative points for this: you have to reserve a lounger on the beach every day for at least $ 16-$ 40 otherwise you won't get any shade even though the stand section belongs to the hotel - pay extra again? At the pool you only get a shadow place if you have a club room, so it costs more. the cocktails leave a lot to be desired - no fresh ingredients - made with cheap syrups, and there is no cappuccino either - just filter coffee!
So on the whole everything is okay but I would not come again .....

Great rm, great bar, great service, great location. Arranged jet skis with them at a competative price. Liked we have our private beach/towels/umbrella. Delta cancelled our flight 2 hour before take off "for mantainance." We called the Hilton and they pushes back our reservation a day. No problem! God that could have been an expensive nightmare, too. I would stay here again.

Terrible service period. From beginning to end. Desk clerk was not welcoming or nice. Sent us with poor directions to the room and no bell service. We were roaming all over the property trying to find the room. Calls to room service take forever! And they don't tell you about the 60 dollar a day tax they charge until you checkout. I will never go to Hilton properties I don't care how many
points they give you.

The hotel had construction on its main bar so it was closed,it did put a damper on things the staff and managers were great, but we decided to move to the riu. Palace for the remaining 5 days. It was more to our liking as there were more places to eat and drink at the all inclusive.

Right in the center of everything. Location, location, location.
Great beach and grounds. Beware of partial ocean view rooms that over look the a roof top with noisy central area conditioning units in the Aruba tower. Those less than desirable rooms all have odd room numbers, so request a even number room
