Racine Honda Review

Racine Honda is exemplary. There were no high pressure sales pitches, no fast talking trickery, and no attempts to inflate the purchase with unnecessary add on s. They did politely inform me of the options and protective plans available, but at no time did they directly or indirectly pressure me. They were extremely expedient as well. They did not have the vehicle I wanted but made a 3-4 hour round trip to get me exactly what I wanted from another dealer, in another state. They had it for me in less than 24 hours from the time of my first contact with them. The actual purchase was very quick as well. I have purchased 5 new cars prior to buying with Racine Honda, and I hated and dreaded each time. However, their sales manager Larry, Internet sales advisor Domonique Brumby, sales associate Gracie Carrasco, and finance manager Amos Longanecker restored my faith in fair, honest, no pressure negotiation and diligent sale. If you re exhausted of the standard, slimey, smarmy sales person, and bully tactics used to pressure you in to a purchase, refresh your perspective with Honda of Racine. I ve never felt like a car dealership had my best interest in mind, but when I drove away in my new vehicle, I knew unequivocally Racine Honda had done everything in their power to make my car buying comfortable, affordable, obtainable, and enjoyable. I highly recommend you make Racine Honda your first stop on your next car shopping trip.

I drove from Milwaukee only too look at cars with no intention in purchasing just yet. I sat with Ricky and spoke a little more in what it was I was looking for. Let me just say Ricky is the best!! He takes his time to explain everything and makes sure what you re looking for fits your needs!! He makes it smooth and easy for you!! He is also a Spanish speaker which is a definite plus!! I m definitely a satisfied customer

It has been many years since I have been at the car lot. I chose a Honda this time. James was very patient with me and took the time to explain the different models. In the end I ended up with the Honda Civic EX. The process was quick and easy with James going the extra mile. I will definitely be returning to Racine Honda and referring my friends and family there.

I always dread the car buying experience - the pressure, the games back and forth with price, the hard sell. Our recent experience at Racine Honda was different. We stopped at Racine Honda And Kayla was super knowledgeable and patient. We were going back and forth on what we thought we wanted and test drove several models getting a thorough description from Kayla each time. We eventually settled on a car and negotiating on the price was relatively painless. The communication with Kayla throughout the process was excellent. We hopefully won t be in the market for another car soon, but if we are we will start at Racine Honda.

Tyler is very friendly, honest and helpful. Though he is young he is very knowledgeable about the car and explained in details of what we need to know, Highly recommended! Also because the car we wanted was sold and we needed to come back another day , manager Pete offered free oil change for the inconvenience, that s very considerate of him. I like both Tyler and Pete :-) before I came here , I went to three dealerships in chicago area and two in milwaukee. Some played tricks and some gave me high prices. After comparison, I will definitely recommend Racine Honda to my friends because they have the best ppl working there.

Getting into a car accident was one of the most stressful things ever but when I went back to Racine Honda to get a new car, I was helped by Nick Imshof and he was the BEST! He worked with me to make sure i got into something i loved, down to the color. He was awesome!

Will never buy a vehicle here... I drove past the lot on Friday night 7/10/20 about 6:30 or 7 pm. I saw a jeep that I was interested in. I called and spoke to Sara over the phone and was told that for them to hold the vehicle that we really wanted to purchase I needed to put down $500 so I did. I told them I would be there on Saturday. I went to look at the car on Saturday, with Nick the salesman, and when I left I specifically explained to them that I would be back on Monday after work to look at more official numbers on paper. Then on Monday morning I received a call that they sold my vehicle, which according to them had a sold sign on it, and that I obviously could not purchase the sold vehicle anymore. I put $500 down for them to hold my vehicle only for them to sell it out from under me within one business day. I can not believe how this situation was handled ...I am now waiting for my refund and will not ever bring myself to that dealership again. They could have cared less that they did this to me. They said sorry, we will give you your money back...YES PLEASE! I should have expected the who cares attitude but silly me. I will shop elsewhere...

I had a great experience working with Tommy (Thomas) in the sales team. I came in with concerns, and left with the car I have always wanted. Came in 2 hours before closing with no appointment! Worked with my David my salesman was very knowledgeable about the car and all it s features. Drove home that very night!

I explained what I was looking for in regards to being upside down on a loan. We were looking for an option to possibly lease with Honda financial.
I was told directly that they were only going to run my credit through them. I already had financing through other means. Then all of a sudden I got a alert on my phone regrading my credit getting pulled. They obviously shot gun my credit without my permission.

Conclusion- I received a phone back from the GM and they were willing to do whatever it took to make happy and today I am driving a Honda!

The team at Racine Honda is 5 stars for a reason. I worked with George Bell to get a CPO CR-V. You can tell the team takes care of their vehicles and works hard to make the final product for the customer perfect. I'll absolutely be telling my friends and family to lookup George if they are looking for a Honda.

Went in to look at a specific Honda Civic and was able to test drive it within a timely manner. No one tried selling me a car that I didn't want. I was able to go in, say what I wanted, and I drove out with it. Customer service was a 10/10 with no hassle or anything. I was reassured that what I was purchasing was the best deal. Definitely would recommend this dealership and Jeff as a sales rep.

Oil change today fastest one I ever had here 35 minutes.

I had a similar experience as Mr. Nicholas Marz, only my salesman was Kevin Daugherty. I found a car online, emailed and called several times. And eventually drove over an hour to see a car. Not only was the car in bad shape, Kevin laughed at me when I asked him about it the obvious disparities between what he personally told me, and its actual condition. Then, he continued to email me for 4 months about taking it for a test drive, and various other nonsense.

With all the other dealers out there, I would not go to this one.

This was the smoothest process I ve ever been through. Thomas was friendly and made me feel comfortable as soon as I arrived. He greeted me at the door and already had the car I wanted to test ready to go for me. It felt like talking to a friend rather than a salesman. He and James worked together to get me a great price on the car I loved. I would give this experience a 100/10.

I bought a 2015 Nissan Sentra from this place the transmission went out 2 weeks later they bullied me into keeping this car. Told me it would be a big mistake to go to the DMV and report them and basically made me wait in order for them to commit fraud against the warranty company. They told me it had to be sold for more than 30 days in order for the warranty to kick in or else it was going to fall back on me once the 30 days were up they told me I had to wait 2 more weeks so that it didn t look suspicious after the 2 weeks they pawned me off on Zeigler Nissan of Gurnee, great service provided here, they gave me a loaner and kept me informed every step of the way! I will NEVER recommend this place to ANYONE! The service was great to get me in the car and once it went bad they blamed me and made me feel horrible.

Robert and Chris both were fantastic and professional. Purchased a pre-owned civic for my daughter and returned the following day to purchase a vehicle for myself. Both gentlemen were knowledgeable about vehicles.

Bait and Switch- I Contacted the dealership about a used CR-V they advertised online for $5,300. Stopped in spoke with salesman who said car wasn't ready yet but gave me a sneak peak. I said I'd come back for a test drive when it was ready. In between that time I received an email from a different sales person saying he had a special offer just for me at $5,125. Took for a test drive last night, made an offer to pay with cash. Original salesman came back said Manager said can't go any lower than $6,000. Huh? bye bye.

A younger gentleman named Briady came and picked me up after the service department had finished my oil change Great young man and made the ride a breeze! When we arrived he pulled my car up and even washed it too! 10/10 Service and 11/10 would recommend him!

We had to bring our 2 young children with during the car buying experience and everyone at Honda was very nice and understanding. They made sure the kids had balloons and popcorn and that we were all comfortable. Everyone we came in contact with couldn t do enough for us! Tyler was our car specialist and is very knowledgeable, patient, and always smiling! He was awesome and did everything he could to get us our perfect car! Mike (the CME) assisted and was so personable and helped make the experience a little easier! He has a great positive attitude and is also very knowledgeable. Pete was our finance guy who was very nice and helped expedite the usual lengthy finance process of car buying. Overall-we had a perfect car buying experience and I m so happy with our new Odyssey! Tyler took the time to explain all the ins and outs of the van and we received it sparkling clean and with a full tank of gas. I will (and already have) recommend Racine Honda to everyone I know!

Wonderful experience at Racine Honda. Nick Imhof was the biggest help with my car purchase. He truly listened to my wants in a car and guided me through the process in the smoothest way. He was incredibly knowledgeable, thoughtful, caring and treated me like family. I felt he had my best interest at heart. One the qualities I admired most about Nick was his patience. I never felt rushed into buying a car. He met me where I was at and respected this. I met with Nick a few weeks prior and then returned and purchased my car. He advocated for me for the best deal. I went to Kenosha Honda prior to going to Racine Honda and felt unheard and rushed into buying a car. I was turned off by this and went to Racine Honda and had a completely different experience. I highly recommend going to Racine Honda. They truly care for you and want what is best for you.

So happy with my new CR-V and the purchase experience! I was pre-approved quickly by Jamie at Educators Credit Union and she provided names of people to work with at the dealerships who had the cars I was interested in. James at Honda in Racine was very responsive, friendly, and provided excellent information. We never felt pressured or frustrated. My husband and I appreciated that James directed his attention to me about the car -- unfortunately some other car salespeople still defer to the man, even if it's going to be the woman's car.
The purchase details were handled so easily via email. Tyler from Honda delivered the vehicle to Educators Credit Union and talked through all of the settings and features.

(Tired of the bait and switch I let them know that we would simply leave if this particular car wasn't there.) He was very knowledgeable of all the cool features of the car and was incredibly helpful. When we got back the dealership manager came to check on us to make sure all was well. We began our purchase paperwork with Daniel and finished the process off with Mike in finance who explained everything in detail and didn't try to oversell or get us to buy stuff we didn't need. I have to mention the General Manager Matt Douvikas, who was crucial to making this deal not just a possibility, but quite a pleasant experience. He was very helpful in finding the best financing solution for our situation and willing to work with us to come to terms we could all agree with. We received top notch customer service in one of the last places I expected it. My family has worked in the auto dealership industry for 20+ years and I am impressed with the way this dealership conducts business. To be honest, every team member I interacted with was very friendly, helpful, and professional. I would suggest this dealership specifically for anyone looking at a Honda or any of their used cars.

I can say I am a loyal Honda fan. My last two vehicles were Honda. I have been loyal to my dealership and salesman for both of them. My son who recently bought a new Honda encouraged me to go to Racine Honda and talk with Tom P. I will be the first to admit, it took some coaxing, but my thought was, what have I got to lose?
While I was completely happy and loved with my 2019 Accord, I really wanted the CRV due to the AWD. So if it happened, it did, and if not, I was still happy with what I was driving. I also was not looking forward to the hours and hours of back and forth bantering. Well, off I went. Tom was AMAZING! Through the entire process, he was professional, was willing to negotiate, listened to what I wanted, very knowledgeable, and yes, I am going to say this....made it an enjoyable experience. BEWARE : If you are a women and/or someone who is a senior this is not a business you should be supporting. My experience involved bait and switch which is highly illegal but didn't stop the dealership from trying. I had a deal all set and when I showed up to sign papers the numbers changed and the extended warranty was 3 times more than what was agreed to.
