They are AMAZING here! Best customer service and quality of work I ve ever had! I came in with eyelash extensions that I got at a nail salon. I knew there was something wrong with them so I wanted them off and a fresh set put on. Little did I know the extensions from the nail salon may as well have been put on with tar instead of eyelash glue. Skoti sat for an hour and a half just taking the nail salon extensions off and making sure she wasn t damaging my natural lashes. She was so patient and kind throughout the entire process. Once the awful extensions were off, the new ones were put on and they look and feel amazing. She went over all aftercare instructions with me and made sure I knew how to properly care for my lashes. She gave me recommendations for when to come back so we can get my lashes looking better and healthier. I would 10/10 recommend this place to anyone!

Mackenzie Brooks did an amazing job!!! This is my first hair salon I have ever gone to in College Station and love it! Mackenzie really cared and valued what I wanted as a customer and a low budget college student!! She even noticed when she was blow-drying my hair that part of my roots had an orange tint and decided to re-tone my hair, causing her to work an hour later than she was scheduled!! Amazing job!!

Wonderful Salon! I had set up a appointment with Skoti to have a bit of color put in my hair, she let me pick out the purple I wanted for my hair so she could get it right. She did a amazing job and made the whole visit a enjoyable experience. I will be going back for sure!

I came to Ra Salon because I needed them to bring my buttery blonde to a light natural blonde. I didn't want platinum, and I didn't want any brass from the buttery blonde I already was. Rachel did an AMAZING job getting me to the exact color of blond I was thinking of in my head, and she was also fun to talk to during the process. She didn't "work me in" with other clients, I had her undivided attention during my color process and everyone else in the shop was super friendly. I would highly recommend!

This salon saved me when my previous salon suddenly dropped their lash extension service. Skoti at Ra Salon does my lashes now, and she s really excellent. The whole atmosphere of this salon is friendly and laid-back couldn t recommend more strongly!

Got a spiral perm here with Skoti this new year, and oh! I CANNOT SAY HOW MUCH I ADORE IT. I've had long straight slightly coarse hair all my life, and I have a certain amount of pride on how well I take care of it. And when I said "perm" to family and friends they shuddered at the thought of the 70's poodle perms. Many insisted it would fry my hair and damage it beyond repair. Skoti took care of me! After getting a vague idea of what i wanted (more than a body wave, but definitely not any tight ringlets) showed me rods that I was IMMEDIETLY wary of, and as far as I understood way too small. But Skoti was patient and explained the process of the perm and how she was gonna wrap larger chunks of hair around what I thought were too small rods to give them curl, and most importantly body for the curl. I can't say this enough: LADIES, TRUST YOUR STYLIST.
My hair has settled down in to beautiful curls, twists, and waves. So many friends have double taked, asking if I'd been straightening my hair all this time cause of how natural it looks. Skoti was very specific in telling me to nourish my hair post perm, and I wasn't about to take her lightly! After a few hair masks of mixing things like olive oil, eggs, mayo, and avocados, my hair was back to its full shine within the first two weeks! Even Skoti was astonished at how quickly it had recovered!
10 outta 10 would recommend! I CANNOT rave about this place enough! The ladies here won't steer you wrong!

She took her time and made sure I received EXACTLY what I wanted. I haven t had someone different do my hair in about 7 years or so, and I was very hesitant. Rachel is basically a wizard at hair color (which was shown when she was trying to help me pick out the color I wanted). All the ladies I interacted with were as sweet and professional as can be. Rachel, owner and stylist at RA Salon, is incredible! She's done extensions for my sister, my mom, and me for years. She always makes sure we are all 100% satisfied with the results and doesn't shy away from challenging colors or styles.
Hair extensions are extra work- for the stylist and the client- but if you are willing to take the time to style and work with them- Rachel always makes sure they turn out perfectly.

My hair is thin and fine naturally, but Rachel has given me the long, thick hair I've always wanted, not to mention she's the only stylist in town who has conquered the brassy tint I typically get when I go blonde...

Terrible customer service!! My mother purchased a certificate for me but the stylist had quit (probably b/c these people are incredibly rude). They at first told me I could still have my hair done & the owner would call me back. She never did. I tried several times to recontact her but the tone changed, I would not be able to do my hair there? I finally went up there sick of being ignored & was told I could not see the owner, not get my hair done, nor get a refund! These people do not want to do your hair they will steal your money!!

Rachel was awesome! She took such care and detail with my lashes, and they turned out so much better than I could ve hoped for! I definitely recommend her if you want to have killer lashes!

i remember going to ra salon when they first opened. a small operation with only 2 employees. from the start, they've been very knowledgeable and offered many services. today, they are even smarter and really listen to their clients and excel in all areas. give ra salon a try and you will be glad you did.

Rachel and her staff are amazing! Love that they are open till 7 most days. So if you work late they will try there best to fit you in. All the girls there are very knowledgeable. You must give them a try, you won't be disappointed.

Ra is so cozy and welcoming to their customers. You walk in and they greet you right away and are attentive to their customers. I had Rachael color my hair and her charismatic personality made me feel like I was at home chatting with a friend while she did my hair. The color came out amazing (and the wine while the color set was an added bonus!) and I m going back soon to get some added extensions after seeing how amazing other girls have come out. I got an eyelash perm from this salon and it was barely visible, looked the same as when I first walked into the salon. I m giving a second star because they were very friendly and had great customer service, but the service itself is where they were lacking.

No where in town can you get a better deal and a better haircut. First, you get your hair washed then the cut, then wash again to be sure you don't leave with hairs down your neck and back. Rachel always gives me a great cut, color, and style. I've been going to her for several years now and she's never disappointed me. My son and daughter-in-law also go to her and just love her. Ra Salon is the best place to go in College Station. The salon is very clean and nicely decorated. Rachel does an awesome job on my color. Prices are on the higher end but worth it. If you're looking for a good salon in CS, definitely give Ra Salon a visit!

I had my first appointment yesterday with Skoti, and it was an amazing experience from start to finish! My hair turned out exactly how I wanted it!! She was so fun & nice! The environment and women in the salon are all so welcoming and make you feel so comfortable. She took her time, listened to everything I had to say or answered any question I had. She gave me tips and information, that will help me in the future when it comes to caring for my hair. She took her time and made sure I was liking it or if I wanted to change anything with every step. This will be my salon from now on!

This was my first time at RA Salon and it was a great experience. Rachel D. did a great job on my cut and color and made my hair much blonder just like I had asked. I love going to Ra Salon and Spa because it's a wam, comfortable atmosphere. However, the main reason I go there is Brandi, my hairdresser. She is wonderful!! She is cheerful, talented, professional and a great listener.. I love what she can do with my hair- both the color and cut.

I could never get my hair to lift to white, but Rachael worked her magic and got me there! Great conversations and overall great experience at Ra. Would definitely recommend to anyone in the area!

Where do I begin....I went to Rachel (the owner) to have extensions put in on a Friday. I literally was Hopi g on a plane to Las Vegas right after the hair appointment which she knew about and sent me on my way with the most horrible hair extension job I've ever seen. I went In For a consultation 2 weeks prior so she should have been well prepared (knowing how much hair I needed) for my appt. I told Rachel at the consultation that I always require double the hair that most people need because I have so much hair and she agreed. Well go to the day of my appt and she only puts one bundle of hair in (which is not very much) and I clearly needed way more and she sent me on my way like that anyway. I will be posting pics of what she had done. To add insult to injury she charges me $1300 and when I got back from my trip I had to go to a different salon and pay another $1000 just to have them fix her horrible job. They ended up having to put in 3 more bundles to make my hair look normal. She is NOT a extension expert and do NOT give her your money! If she was an expert she would have never let me walk out of her salon looking the way I did. You could see all of my short hair...it wasn't blended nor could it be because I needed more hair. If I could give no starts I would.

I would recommend this salon to anyone! The staff was very friendly and acquired to all my needs. I got a balayage by Rachel and a cut as well and I loved what she did with my hair. when you first walk in you notice how clean everything is. then you are greated with great smiling faces and very cheerful hellos that just sets the mood for your experience. I had the pleasure of having Rachel D. to transform me from drab to fab and boy did she deliver. she was great and very happy doing what she loved. she explained everything that she had to do and made sure I was happy every step of the way. she even stayed late to make sure I was ready for the world to see my new hair. the other ladies that I had the joy of meeting were so nice and super funny.the whole place is just a wonderful place to be pampered and feel beautiful at the end. This was my first experience getting my hair done in College Station, so I guess I set my expectations low to begin with. While the environment was great, the workers are very friendly, and my hair dresser was sweet as a peach, I asked for a light natural red/ginger color (and I provided a picture) and the only thing red by the end of it was my roots. Otherwise, it s basically brown with red roots. So I was a little disappointed by that since I wanted to go permanent with the red. It still looks nice but wasn t at all what I asked for. Really didn t want to go through the through the trouble of having it corrected cause I have a busy schedule, so it is what it is.

This place is awesome!!! Strongly recommend. The artists are smart and funny and know exactly what they are doing. They don t ever try to sell you crazy expensive products either. They are very real.

Dana did my hair and she did an absolutely outstanding job. I was a brunette and wanted to get a blonde balayage and I could not be happier with the results! Sadly, I am moving, but she even offered to help me find another hair dresser around where I am moving to. The whole dying was super quick.. like foils done in 30 minutes quick.

The first time I got a lash lift it was at another salon and it was torture. I decided to give Ra Salon a try instead this time. Brooklyn was amazing it only took 30 minutes compare to the last salon where it was 60 minutes and felt like I was getting torture. It was easy and relaxing. Today I took my mom to get hers done but I accidentally schedule in for a week from today. So we were super early lol. Thankfully they were able to fit us in their schedule for todat. They are amazing.

They charged me $57 for the worst haircut I ever got, while they say dry haircut rate is $40 in their website.

I called to make an appointment and they were able to get me in the same day. I needed to have a significant length cut off of my hair to make it healthy again, and Brooklyn did an absolutely amazing job of talking me through it and creating a style that worked for my hair. The salon is also very clean and inviting. If you are looking for a place to get your hair done, this is it!
